Universal linux server for small and medium companies enabling simple network control

The main object of this thesis was to design a computer network for small and medium companies which will be made among others from network server providing simple network control. The next task was to provide internet connection to subscribers of local area network, their security and access to common services. There had been discussed the choice of distribution of Linux operation system with regarding to demanded services, stability and long lasting operation in theoretical part. One part of the work is a theoretic preliminary to separate services, to the purpose of their using and to their weaknesses. The practical part deals with an installation and configuration of Debian operating system, launching the base services and the setting of selected monitoring programs.

Special security system

This master’s thesis is focused on design and realisation of special security system for space and property protection. System is devided into two parts, transmitting and receiving. Transmitting part is formed by Raspberry Pi Model B+, motion sensor, webcam and USB LTE modem Huawei E398. Receiving part consists of computer with suitable application for communication with FTP server. Data transfer in mobile systems is described in the first part of this thesis, transmitting part is designed in the second part. There is one transmitting option chosen in the third part and there are also described applications of the transmitting part. The last part of this thesis is focused on the receiving part and its application.

The main goal of this thesis is to create a software tool to support webhosting, it means to create a system that provides email services, services of an FTP server and database server, and allows users to create their own subdomains within the domain. Moreover, the system must provide a graphical interface for its users.

Applications of Computers in Ultramicro Aviation

The aim of this work was to create a system used to record the Ćight hours of ultralight aircraft. The system consists of a simple device placed in the aircraft that uses a GPS signal to obtain position data. The device detects whether the aircraft is in Ćight and sends the position data using Bluetooth. The other part of the system is a mobile application for the Android operating system that runs in the background, receives this data via Bluetooth and then sends it in a complete form to a FTP server. The last part of the system is a web interface that is used to analyse the recorded Ćight data.

Education app for kids

The goal of this thesis was to create an educational application for children in elementary schools which is easy to use both for children and teachers. Nowadays there are lots of similar applications, but most of them support only the English language. Our target users are primarily Czech students. The main advantage of the application is that it does not focus on a single subject. It includes modules in which one we can practice maths, grammar, writing or music education. The most important feature of the application is its extendability, which includes adding modules and examples at the user level. The thesis consists of two applications.
