The exile visual art scene in Bohemia and its subsequent activities abroad, 1933-1945 The development of the political situation in Germany during the thirties of the 20th century, when the Nazi Party was radicalizing and Adolph Hitler's power gradually became unlimited, meant a danger not only for the political opponents of Nazism. Artists who work didn't meet the criteria of the new aesthetic or even engaged in its detriment, had to seek for asylum. The First Czechoslovak Republic became one of these refuges. The Czech-German art scene was a significant aid for the integration of the refugees into the society. Some of its personalities returned to their birthplace for similar reasons as anti-Nazi refugees. Czech-German conditions provided to emigrants an opportunity for active continuing of the struggle against Nazi regime, also with a backward impact in Germany. But the support by the Czech population and the state went through series of changes under pressure of Nazi German government and the growing influence of the Sudeten areas. Artists with the status of refugees were obliged to follow a set of state regulations and orders, which often bureaucratically confined their creative activity. Development and importance of immigration in the Czech Rebublic

The aim of this bachelor work is to describe the benefit of migration for the Czech Republic. The immigration represents the only way to preserve the number of population and economic activity in the majority of developed countries, in which we see the natural decrease of the population. This work studies, which flows of migrants were used the most in the history of the Czech Republic, how much they are used now, which nationalities immigrate, what look their age structure and economic activity are, why they prefer the Czech Republic and if they adopt our reproductive habits or they preserve their origin habits. Next the work analyses the migration policy of the Czech Republic and it targets on positives and negatives caused by these new foreigners. The important part of the work consists of an analysis of the impact on a labour market. It proves that the migration can preserve or even reverse the situation, when the productive generation is decreasing and the index of economic dependence is increaseing. Next part is focused on the international comparison. It compares, which the levels of migration other neighbour states reach. The conclusion of this work tries to find out a probable development of tendency of migration in the Czech Republic.
Foreigners and their impact on the economy of Czech republic

The aim of this bachelor thesis is based on available and acquired data to bring issues concerning foreigners in the Czech Republic. Analysis of the number of foreigners, the number of residence permits and their integration into Czech society are very important factors in the knowledge that immigration is becoming the only option while maintaining the reproduction of population and the consequent sustainability of economic activity. A very important part is to get an overview of the possibilities of foreigners and their subsequent opportunities in the labour market. The most important objective of this work is to provide a comprehensive view of the issue of foreigners in the Czech Republic, in terms of integration, family behaviour and their employment. Furthermore, this work investigates the impact, although positive or negative, foreigners on the Czech economy.
Czech and Slovak immigration to Canada

The scope of work will focus on Czech and Slovak Immigration to Canada. The first chapter will be theoretical; it will contain a brief overview of historical data and a description of the main motives for migration and the current trends of migration to Canada. It will be based on literary research and partially on the completed questionnaire I am going to briefly outline the current possibilities for Czech and Slovaks when it comes to immigration policies. I am going to make reference to Roma migration to Canada as a recently discussed issue between Canada and Czech Republic. Other parts of this report are going to be practical; observation will be given to the statistical data related to Czech and Slovak Immigration to Canada. I will compare the historical and contemporary trends in migration. Part of this report will be based on my questionnaire to Czech and Slovak emigrants in Canada. I am going to present the data I have collected.
Mezinárodní migrace v České a Slovenské republice

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the comparison of the international migration development in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic and compares its development between the two states from 1989. The thesis also includes a thorough analysis of the causes and impacts influencing this demographic indicator. Consequently, the thesis compares development of the monitored indicators using methods such as time series, levelling the trend line and calculations of specific demographic indicators of migration.
