Design of Electric Scooter for Urban Mobility
Maca, Jakub ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is to design electric scooter, which is ideally adapted for urban mobility and which will be a practical, attractive and environmental friendly alternative to the car with a combustion engine. Emphasis is given to proposal of ergonomic, aesthetic and functional solution of the system, which makes that scooter can be folded into a mobile compact shape. Folded scooter can be carried at public transportation vehicles and park right at home or in the office. The unique design and practical features of a scooter should be attractive not only in terms of personal mobility, but also as a utility vehicle for private companies and public institutions.
Batteries for independent traction
Hladiš, Vítězslav ; Klíma, Bohumil (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is a review of literature of all types of batteries designed for driving in an independent traction (transport). The various types of batteries with them and compare based on their parameters (weight, cost, energy density / kg) to select the appropriate type of battery to drive electric cars, wheelchairs, electric bikes and scooters. The thesis is not a practical product or supplement. This is only a theoretical analysis of the issue.
Additional Motor for Electric Scooter
Staroň, Patrik ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Electric scooters are very good for everyday personal transportation. Electric scooter Xiaomi M365 Pro 2 is a very popular model of electric scooter. The goal of this thesis is adding a secondary motor to the scooter's body and demonstrate how it can be controlled. Ideal option for control of two motors is proposed. Low-cost option is a result of scooter analysis and reverse-engineering, and it is also implemented and tested. Thesis is heavily focused on efficiency analysis and parameters for optimization are presented.
Scooter powered by cordless drill
Šimo, Samuel ; Böhm, Michael (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis analyses the problematics of scooters with additional driving force and new opportunities in usage of unconventional methods of propulsion. The first part describes history and early development of prototypes. Then it reports on current legislative regulations in road traffic. The second part comments on design procedure of cordless drill - powered scooter with detailed description of used components.
Design of an Electric Stroller
Koluchová, Petra ; Siebert, Petr (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with a design of an electric stroller. This alternative means of transport for a parent and a child was designed based on a design and technical analysis. This product allows independent and fast movement in the city. Using the product requires an introduction of a new arrangement of streets, with designated communications for micromobility. Modern technologies are used in the concept of the designed product. The advantage of the design concept is that the product can be used as a classic electric scooter.
Scooter with a BLDC drive
Doležal, Lukáš ; Kozovský, Matúš (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on a design of a propulsion system for folding portable scooter. The BLDC motor is used as a propulsion. The thesis deals with the design of electronics for sensor control. Motor is controlled by six-step commutation method. In the practical part of thesis the controller of current is set and functionality is checked.
Design and control of smart charging station for electric scooters
SCHOLZ, Luděk
This thesis focuses on constructing a smart charging station for electric scooters at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science. The first part of the work is dedicated to researching available solutions. The second part involves the analysis and design of a custom solution, which is further divided into three components: the server, station, and dock. Each component undergoes its analysis, design, and implementation. The thesis addresses the design of mechanical parts, the method of locking and charging, as well as the development of software for the server, enabling management and logging of scooter usage, and for the station, providing a user interface. The goal is to create a functional and modular station that allows users to charge electric scooters conveniently and securely at the department, with the readiness for future expansion.
Selected issue of electric personal means of transport movement
Konečný, Dalibor ; Stáňa, Ivo (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
Diploma thesis The selected issue of electric personal means of transport movement is divided into three main parts. The theoretical part deals with the description of electric bicycles, electric scooters and electric skateboards. Furthermore, legislation, tuning and issues related to these means of transport. The second part is devoted to the current state of knowledge in this area. The last part is devoted to practical measurement, namely braking, acceleration, acceleration into curves, going through curves, transverse movement and deflection when looking back. There were 10 e-scooters with 9 different riders and 6 e-bikes with 12 different riders. At the end of the work, an overall evaluation is made.
