Architectural expression of residential buildings in energy-efficient housing

These days create an enormous pressure on energy savings because of their high prices. For future it is obvious that their prices will grow. Not only the representatives of European Union realize this fact, but basicaly common people who run their houses and pay the bills. For this reason low - energy houses respectively passive houses are in the limelight. Reasons of economy should not be the only criterion of quality, but its integral part, one of several components. Energy efficient housing is a response in architecture and building to turbulent global warming. The aim of the work is try to specify how to conceive an efficient building with respect to its architectural quality in the contect of directions coming from European Union and which should be implemented soon in the Czech republic. Will zero house become driving force of architecture in Europe in 21st century? The result of the work will be useful in orientation how to conceive an efficient house with respect to its aesthetical quality.
Social Security of Employees in European Union

This thesis deals with the coordination of social security systems at EU and national level. It presents basic analysis of the relevant EU legislation. The model examples show the application of relevant legislation of the European Union which relate to the situation, and mentions the context of relevant administrative duties. The last part identifies the most problematic areas and proposes some general, but also specific recommendations related to the examples.

Current Development of Emission Standards in the EU and Their Impact on Economic Management of a Selected Company

This diploma thesis deals with the development of emission standards in the EU and assesses their impact on the economic management of RENOCAR a.s. The diploma the-sis uses mainly methods of strategic and economic analysis. The Gretl software is used to create the resulting model.
Taxation of Capital Incomes in the Czech Republic and in Selected Countries of the European Union

The Bachelor’s thesis is focused on taxation on personal incomes from capital property. It deals with the valid legislation in the Czech Republic and in selected countries of the European Union. The Bachelor’s thesis also involves a comparison between the taxation systems used in these countries. The theoretical knowledge is demonstrated on illustrative examples in the practical part of the Bachelor’s thesis.
Actual State and Potential of Renewable Sources Utilization in the EU

This bachelor’s thesis named Actual State and potential of renewable sources utilization in the EU offers a detailed summary of the current and future utilization of renewable resources in each member state of the European Union. The opening chapters briefly introduce the term renewable resources and the legislation relating to this issue. The following chapter is devoted to a detailed background research of actual renewable energy utilization in all twenty seven member states of the European Union. The countries are ranked by their dates of accession to the Union in ascending order, in each chapter alphabetically. All information and data are obtained from reliable sources such as annual energy reports of ministries or institutions which are concerned with energy issues. This chapter contains a great amount of charts and tables taken from annual reports and which are revised for the needs of this thesis. The chapter named Potential of renewable energy utilization in the EU offers an insight into the assumed future utilization of renewable resources up to the year 2020. This chapter draws from so-called National renewable energy action plans (NREAP) in which each member state presents its plan leading to higher renewable sources utilization in the near future. The reader is therefore able to familiarize with plans concerning renewable sources in each member state. The chapter named Complex evaluation familiarizes with some pros and cons concerning renewable sources and their utilization. Further the author presents his point of view on renewable sources and some recommendation leading to a better integration of renewable sources into energetics.
