Safety assessment of operator activities for WHN 13 CNC horizontal boring machine

The diploma’s thesis deals with the current state of requirements for products resulting from directives of the European Parliament and the European Council. The aim of the thesis is a system analysis of the issue, proposal and justification of the chosen procedure for solving the objectives. Furthermore, the analysis of requirements of current standards and safety analysis related to the work of machine operators in the areas of operation, service and maintenance of horizontal boring machine WHN 13 CNC. The analysis is followed by a proposal for preventive measures for hazards where the value of risks and criticality is unacceptable, leading to their reduction.

This diploma thesis deals with the safety assessment of operator’s activities at the MCFV 1260 vertical machining center. Then a system analysis of the issue is created with a proposal and justification of the chosen procedure. In the second part of the thesis there is solved the failure risk analysis, which is focused on the operations of the operator in the area of maintenance, service and during the operation of the vertical machining center located in the company TAJMAC – ZPS Zlín. The result of this thesis is the design and recommendation of preventive measures to reduce unacceptable risks in the relevant operations at the machining center.

The bachelor‘s thesis considers harmonization of value added tax in the European Community. It targets the refundation of VAT. The thesis analyses influence of communitary law on national law and the diferences between legislations of individual states. Issue of the thesis is describe conditions and examination of the claim to refundation. It describes whole procedure of tax subjects in the proces of refundation from the states of European Union.
Suggestion of a social programme of the company

The diploma thesis is focused on an employee advantages issue of a company. The aim of this thesis is, on a basis of theoretical background and research done, to identify weak points and suggest improvement of a social programme of the company. The thesis consists of four consequential chapters, in the first one there are working hypotheses which are to be proven. In the second chapter there is theoretical description of the problem. The third chapter then comprises of the company data and analyzes questionnaire. In the final part of the work are the hypotheses interpreted and stated the suggestions for advancement.
Transposition of Energy Communities into Czech Law

Transposition of Energy Communities into Czech Law - abstract The main topic of the presented diploma thesis is the legal concept of energy communities and its transposition into Czech law. The term "energy communities" means both citizen energy communities according to the Directive (EU) 2019/944 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 June 2019 on common rules for the internal market for electricity and amending Directive 2012/27/EU and renewable energy communities as defined by the Directive (EU) 2018/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources. None of the mentioned directives has yet been fully transposed in the Czech Republic, although the transposition deadlines in both cases have already passed. The first chapter of the diploma thesis discusses the transposition of EU directives in general and from a theoretical point of view, including transposition methods and a description of the process of transposition of directives at the national level. Major industrial accidents in the Czech Republic - accident analysis of LPG

The first part of diploma thesis focuses on the characteristics of LPG accidents, their prevention, evaluation and manifestations, the understanding of which is a key prerequisite for statistical evaluation. Next, attention is paid to the characteristics of LPG, which is complemented by safety and identification of the substance and a survey of LPG storage together with protection and safety zones. The main part of the thesis describes individual LPG accidents in the Czech Republic between 2003 and 2022, which are evaluated by the ESIA method and the ISAAC causal model. Finally, a statistical evaluation and a proposal for a correctional measure together with its economic evaluation is made.
Calender operation safety in rubber industry

This bachelor's thesis deals with legislative requirements for the safe production and operation of machinery in the territory of the European Union. It describes the most significant European directives in this field and explains their importance for machinery manufacturers and operators. An overview of harmonized standards and their application is also provided in the thesis. Furthermore, a risk assessment of a rolling machine in operation on the territory of the Slovak Republic is conducted. This section elaborates on the issues related to operating older machines.
The European Union and gender inequality in the labour market

Equality between men and women is one of the fundamental social issues addressed by states and organisations around the world, including the European Union. This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of gender equality in the labour market within the European Union and its legislation. Specifically, it works with binding and non-binding European Union legislation on this topic and describes its transposition in selected member states. This thesis first introduces key concepts such as gender and gender inequality within the work environment or the gender pay gap. Subsequently, the basic forms of European law are presented, as well as how it specifically addresses gender equality issues and what developments European legislation in this area has undergone. The thesis then outlines the binding and non-binding European legal acts that relate to this area and then assesses the adoption of this legislation in selected member states (Belgium, Czech Republic, Spain, Sweden) using the example of Directive (EU) 2019/1158 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on work-life balance for parents and carers and repealing Council Directive 2010/18/EU. The paper interprets these data and places them in the context of European gender equality legislation.

Disposable plastic products on the Czech market

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of disposable plastic products. The first part deals with the consumption, negatives and positives of plastics. It also describes the handling of plastic waste and the content of the new Directive (EU) 2019/904 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the reduction of the impact of certain plastic products on the environment. The questionnaire survey is used to evaluate the consumption of disposable plastic products on the Czech market.
