Risk Management of a Company Using Data Analysis Tools
Halamová, Kateřina ; Sádlík, Libor (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on risk management of a selected company using data analysis tools. The thesis comprehends three main parts. The first part aims at an introduction and presentation of a selected company, and marketing analysis of its surroundings is realized. The second part addresses theoretical issues concerning risk management and data analysis tools. In the third part, financial analysis and evaluation of the possible risks of the company using data analysis tools are realized. Eventually, for the highest risks precautions are proposed.
Least-squares fitting of multivariate data
Hrabec, Pavel ; Bednář, Josef (referee) ; Tomášek, Petr (advisor)
Thesis sumarizes basic theory required for inference of aproximation using the least squares method and aplicates this method on data obtained from engineering practice. Within thesis were created programs, in MATLAB enviroment, to solve this problem. MATLAB already contains several algorithms, wich are useful for solving this problem. Thesis includes comparsion of properties and test of those algorithms.
Graphics Interface for Data Telemetry of "Formula Student"
Martiček, Juraj ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Thesis focuses on creation of complete telemetric system for data collection and tuning of a racing car in Formula Student competition. This system consists of graphical user interface, which is wirelessly connected to device installed on a racing car. Telemetry provides live data view coupled with recording features. Graphical user interface provides tools for data analysis to be used for development, testing, and even racing of a formula made by the Formula Student team.
Knowledge Discovery from Databases with Use of the R Language
Krutý, Peter ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the field of knowledge discovery from databases. Main objective is to research possibilities of R language and its support in this area. Support is researched by experiments using appropriate data sets. More detailed attention is given to the methods of classification, clustering and association rules learning. The output of the thesis is comparison of methods application in R and defining the suitability of using language for knowledge discovery from databases.
Comparison of conventional CT and VT with current and voltage sensors
Dvořák, Petr ; Drápela, Jiří (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with conventional transformers and current and voltage sensors. The first half of thesis describes mainly the basic concepts and accuracy classes of these converters used in electrical substations. The emphasis is given primarily on the differences. In the second half of thesis is presented an exact type of converters, which are installed in the substation Medlánky. There is an analysis of measured data from long – term monitoring from this substation and comparing the results from conventional transformers compared to the results from more modern sensors.
Predictive maintenance for automated assembly machines
Janík, Vladimír ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Mecerod, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with data analysis. Data obtained from automated assembly machines and their quick and well-arranged displaying in a format suitable for individual end users. In the thesis web frameworks are compared and database structure as well as final software solution is proposed. The data is loaded using the implemented programming language module. The data is further analyzed and displayed to a user through a web-based application accessible to end user from every device connected to the corporate network.
Complex On-Line Training Diary
Kamenský, Zdeněk ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
Design and implementation of online training diary for athletes is the main goal of this thesis. At the beginning, it was necessary to explain some of key words, related to the thesis topic. One of the most important things is data mining and its usability for sports data analysis. After that, existing solutions of sport applications were analyzed and also it was obligatory to analyze potential users requirements. Application design, implementation and testing were the next steps. Some of data mining methods were used for analysis of sports data intended for individual athletes and their coaches.
Analysis of Firm’s Digital Marketing Communication Channels and Improvement Proposals
Rozsah práce zahrnuje teoretická východiska, výzkum prostředí společnosti a anlýzu e-marketingových dat, sbíraných firmou. Na základě těchto částí je založen návrh vylepšení, včetně odhadu nákladů a návrhu monitorování. Výstup práce je ve formě zlepšení efektivity marketingové komunikace firmy.
Similarity Searching in Network Data
Hud, Jakub ; Matoušek, Denis (referee) ; Wrona, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is interested in analyzing IP flow records. IP flow record contains IP flow metadata of specific network communication such as IP addresses, port numbers, network protocol numbers and other. Main goal is to design and implement method for determination of similarity of NetFlow records. At the beginning of this thesis is description of how to analyze great amount of data. Next there are shown network monitoring technicies and NetFlow. Other parts of this thesis are dedicated to design and implementation of data analysis using DBSCAN and agglomerative hierarchical clustering algorithms. Implementation of data analysis application is also part of this thesis. As a result, the application can be used to network scan detection using NetFlow data although the results are not very clear and contain a lot of legitimate communication.
Data analysis from moving vehicle
Kvapil, Josef ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The thesis deals with data analysis obtained from the traffic simulator. The data are from trajectory of vehicle movement. The analysis are suggested to driving trajectory which are obtained from the characteristic parameters for the subsequent detection of the critical vehicle position. Analysis and evaluation of the detection critical vehicle position are solved in the Matlab program scripts.
