Dlask, Jakub ; Chrenčík, Roman (advisor) ; Halada, Jan (referee)
This bachelor's thesis entitled "Media space devoted to FC Slovan Liberec in the daily Sport" deals with finding out and comparing what space FC Slovan Liberec received in the daily Sport in comparison with the winners of the three previous years of the Czech top football competition. In the theoretical part, I first describe the interconnection between sport and journalism by means of professional literature and then define the specifics of sports journalism. Next, I introduce the daily Sport, which as the only Czech sports daily was used for the research in this bachelor thesis. In the methodological part, I first use the literature to characterise the quantitative content analysis that I have chosen as my research method. I follow this by describing the theoretical background, setting the research questions and writing the hypotheses. In the analytical section, I then describe my research process and then compare and present the data collected.

Pavlačková, Monika ; Turková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Trunečka, Ondřej (referee)
The diploma thesis entitled "The media image of women's football in the printed daily Sport" deals with the media image of women's football in the period 1/1/2017 - 12/31/2021 in the daily Sport. Through quantitative and qualitative content analysis, the work describes how women's football is presented in the only Czech sports newspaper and its supplements over the years and then mentions the most interesting articles. The analyzed years are compared with each other at the end. One of the main theories is that if the media image of women's football gradually changed, it would be significant precisely in the only Czech sports newspaper. The work is based on an assumption that the number of articles increased over the years, which was confirmed as a result except of 2020 and 2021, when the number of articles decreased considerably due to the pandemic crisis. The change in the media image of women's football was evident not only in the number of articles, but also in their length.
