Audio D/A converter with external control using microcontroller
Špaček, Jan ; Stifter,, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a laboratory measurement tool with ADC converter for audio and low frequency signals. In the introduction part a theoretical background of the ADC and DAC conversions are outlined. In the next chapters the technical solution of the laboratory converter is presented, including DAC with integrated circuit AD1852 and completed with digital audio receiver CS8416. This circuit secures compatibility with external audio devices with digital interfaces, like SPDIF or AES3. The digital receiver and audio DAC are added with serial communication interface for setup of the most audio and input parameters. This setup is operated by external microcontroller ATmega32 and original firmware. The thesis contains block diagram and schematic layout of the laboratory converter, including complete technical documentation for the construction and design.

Microcontroler based ECG Generator
Bureš, Michal ; Bubník, Karel (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the generation of an ECG signal and options how to generate a physiological or a pathological signal using the microprocessor. On the basis of the studied methods for generating signal was used the graphic method, using the table values to describe the an individual waves contained in the ECG signal. Bacherol’s thesis solves a design of the individual parts that are needed to realization the genererator. These parts are a block diagram, a system design and a flowchart. On the basis of a design is constructed and programmed function ECG signal generator.
Digital controlled power supply
Kocián, Daniel ; Koton, Jaroslav (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
This master’s thesis is about design and realization of a digital controlled power supply. In the introduction there is defined a basic princip and division of the power supplies. Furthermore, there are considered two design realisations of digital controlled power supllies. The first one will be controlled by D/A converter and the second one will be controlled by digital potentiometers. Consequently, there is in the master’s thesis designed controlled part which controls output parameters of supply. The core of the controlled part is microcontroller ATmega16. Output parameters are displayed on LCD display and are set by 4x4 matrix keypad. In the last part there is designed connection between PC and microcontroller by the help of converter FT232BM. Subsequently, there is designed the rectifier with a filter and electronic switching of the fan. At the end of the thesis is resolved the placement of the various component parts to the component box.
Audio amplifier with digital input and power and headphone output stage
Abrman, Milan ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is design and construction of amplifier for high quality home listening experience. Device is able to process both analogue signal and high sampling frequency digital input with high audio bit depth. Scope of the thesis covers the design of all the functional units: input signal circuit, S/PDIF receiver, D/A converter, high performance class D amplifier and precise headphone amplifier for dynamic sound presentation. Thesis also cover design of all control circuits containing rotary encoder with button input, microcontroller unit, digital potentiometer and segment display.
D/A converter for video signal from FPGA chip
Balcárek, Jan ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
It’s going on hardware modul, that display our required information on the display unit. This module is controlled with digital logic implemented to FPGA chip. Logic is designed to communication protocol by standard interface VGA.
Analog input device for industrial automation
Nekovařík, Jakub ; Šír, Michal (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The main subject of this bachelor thesis are design and implementation of the device, which is used to convert digital values to analog output value in the range 0-10V. This actual trasformation arises in electrical component called Digital-to-Analog Converter. There is a separate chapter, which presents theory and problems of varios types of converts. The following chapters theoretically analyse design of each parts of the device. The conclusion of this thesis deals with specific proposals of used electrical components and a description of the software equipment.
Design and construction of double laboratory power supply
Klein, Miroslav ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This semester thesis deals with design of double laboratory DC power supply with adjustable voltage and current limitation. Power supply can work in two states. First state allows regulation of output voltage from 0V to 40V and current limitation from 0A to 3A. In second state the range of output voltage is from 0V to 18V and output current can be set from 0A to 6A. Both supplies are galvanically separated and can work independently, or can be combined. Whole power supply is digitally controlled by microcontroller.
Simulator of current output 0-24mA
Mačišáková, Kateřina ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design of very accurate current output simulator 0-24 mA with microcontroller with resolution 0.001 mA. In the thesis I deal with the market re-search with similar devices, theory and then with the conception of the whole system concept, with the identification of used components and with the evaluation of their suitability. I propose here a circuit diagram and a printed circuit board, which I then produce and install. For the resulting device I design and produce a box that will suita-bly complement and unify the entire system. I will revive the whole device, program it and test its functionality.
FM receiver and radio data system processing using FPGA
Petr, Ondřej ; Pirochta, Ondřej (referee) ; Maršálek, Roman (advisor)
This term paper is the second part of the dissertation FM RDS signal processing using FPGAs. In the first half of the work is processed the information needed before the actual design and implementation. These can be divided into three themes. The first theme is the received signal VHF / FM + RDS, the second one handles the problem of software radio and last topic concerns FPGAs. The second half deals with the solution implementation and receiver radio VHF / FM and bitrate optional RDS to digital form and its implementation on FPGA. This section also includes the measurement of results.
