The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement new version of the user agenda Transport for the economic system Stormware POHODA, which is used to order parcel transportation from many different shippers and to print address labels based on data straight from the system Stowmare POHODA. For implementation of the main part of the solution ware used .NET Framework and programming language C#.
The Media image of Czech post in years 2012 - 2017

My bachelor study deals with description and evaluation of media image of Czech Post in particular nationwide dailies during the time period from 2012 to 2017. For better contextual understanding the examination exceeds partly also into year 2018. The main goal of study is to examine whether the media image of Czech state postal service and its reputation during the given period were constant or variable (f.e. with regard to current events in this company), coherently it can be also examined whether a tendency is obvious and if such tendency is increasing or declining. The study is divided into two parts. In theoretical part the history of Czech Post is briefly described with stress on the development from 1990s, subsequently the recent business of Czech Post including its management and enterprise development from year 2010 is dealt with. A section is focused on theoretical definition of media image including employed theories, and an overview of examined periodicals: daily Mladá fronta DNES and daily Právo. The bachelor's thesis "Institutional Communication in the Czech Republic Focused on Ministry of Interior and the Project Electronisation of Public Administration" targets the specifics of public institutions' marketing communication. The principal objective is to describe major approaches to the theory of institutional communication in different aspects comprising Structural Functionalism, Institutional Economy, Conversational Analysis, Toronto School of Communication Theory and most recent exploratory studies in the theory of social communication and marketing communication in 2011. Based on the broad and narrow context of the terms eGovernment and eDemocracy and taking advantages of the primary and secondary research it analyses two stages of marketing communication campaign of Data Boxes project in 2009, institutionally falling within the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of the own strategic and tactical concepts and their visual design.

Sorting systems focusing on mail sorting at the sorting machines

In the introduction there is described a history of the post office. There is also outlined a current state and a future intention of Czech Post (Česká pošta s. p.). Further there is explained an issue of the formatting of the address side of postcards and writing. In another part there is a job description of the sorting machine SIEMENS IRV 3000 and also information on the location of this sorting machine at each collecting transport nodes. In the conclusion there is described a consideration to increase a number of appropriate mail pieces for the sorting machine.
Determination and Drawing of Post-Region Borders

This bachelor thesis deals with determination and drawing a postal regions on the map. All necessary data are obtained from publicly available sources and processed for a particular purpose.  The position of individual branches is put in to the map base and color display boundary region.  For the calculation are used two different algorithms.  One is Fortun's algorithm and other algorithm was developed specifically for this purpose called circle algorithm. Aplication allow to choose different type of drawing borders and also some graphics settings.  Programming language is C++ with usage of GLUT library for graphics user interface.
Optimizing Parcel’s Delivery of Czech Post

The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to optimize the parcel's delivery of the Czech post in the surroundings of Kolín and Kutná Hora, which is operated by Depo Kolín 70. This service's speciality is that the parcels are being delivered to individual post offices according to the zip code. The main task is to minimize costs of delivery on these parcels, the next thing is to settle the optimal count of cycles assuming that delivery car has to come back to the Depo and another thing is to consider an opening time of post offices. Discrete models are used to solve this problem, specifically vehicle routing problem with time windows. To solve this model has been used LINGO optimizing software.
Liberalization of the market versus network industry in state hands for example of postal service market and the Czech Post, state enterprise

Bachelor thesis is dealing with the liberalization of the postal service market in the Czech Republic. Thesis analyzes the selected issue in the practical part on the example of the Czech Post, state enterprise. It clarifies the areas and terms closely linked with the issue. Thesis also defines monopoly features and specifies the network industry. It deals with the privatization process, defines the essential features of the state-owned enterprise and other main business corporations. Text explains the theory of public choice and its related problems. It also focuses on postal license which commits to provide universal service. The aim of the thesis is to create a comprehensive overview of past and current state of the postal market. Another objective is to analyze Czech Post enterprise particularly its economic activity and legal form. It turns out that the Czech Post is not now as lossy as it appears in public. We can predict decreasing trend in the evolution of revenues in the future with the help of related graph. Thesis objectives are met by composing the general development of the legislative and institutional changes. We can compare the legal forms of institutions and the extent of branch networks in each country with the help of a comparative analysis of European postal institutions. The Czech Republic does well - it is below the average. This allows to set conclusions and recommendations for our market. We mainly used issues of Post Partner project to examine the future development of the Czech Post.

The basic concepts as innovation, types of innovation, innovation process, measurement, evaluation and funding innovation are defined in the theoretical part. The practical part starts with a brief characteristic of the "Czech Post" and its services. Further it discusses the different types of innovation with a view of managing employees and the importance of innovation for the company.
