Detection of parking space availability based on video
Aerodynamic components of passenger cars
Petrskovský, Adam ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Vondruš, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on aerodynamics of the cars. Theories on aerodynamics characterizations as well as force exertions are presented here. Moreover, the influence of aerodynamics on fuel consumption and formation of harmful emissions is described. The thesis also provides a comprehensive overview of particular aerodynamic devices used on cars. Furthermore, CFD simulations of four aerodynamic devices on a simplified model of car are included. The results of these simulations are then evaluated and the respective aerodynamic devices are subsequently compared to find out which of them has contributed the most to the improvement of aerodynamic characteristics of the vehicle.
Business use of vehicles and related tax aspects
Mlátilíková, Hana ; MSc, Jakub Flek, (referee) ; Kalová, Dagmar (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on taxation of the the income of enterpreneurs, who use a car for their business. It deals with the concrete application of expences leading to the tax optimalization of the taxpayer and the impact of using a car for private purposes. In thesis uses methods of analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction and comparation. Thanks to them we came to the conclusion that an enterpreneur should buy a new car and add it to their business assets.
Business use of vehicles and related tax aspects
Rychtářová, Natálie ; Kopřiva, Jan (referee) ; Kalová, Dagmar (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze tax aspects related to the issue of the car in trade. In the thesis is firstly elaborated theoretical part, which generally focuses on how the car in business affects income tax and value added tax. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on road tax. Subsequently, the insights are applied in the analytical part to a specific example of an entrepreneur and a proposal for his optimal use of cars in tax optimization.
The Study of Systém and Process optimization of Service operation
Prokeš, Viktor ; Havlásek, Roman (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This thesis is oriented on the automotive industry with the focus on the domestic producer of the vehicles – the Škoda Auto Company. It describes the subject of business in the mentioned company and subsequently it refers to the current trends of the automotive market in the Czech Republic. On the basis of the analyses` results of the after-sales services allied with usage of the Škoda-products it will propose their possible future progression. Thereinafter will the thesis concentrate on the description of the existing after-sales processes focused on the „through-pass“ of the vehicle through the authorised Škoda Auto service. It deals with the analysis of the service systems in detail using the tight cohesion of them. Modern technologies used in the current vehicles put significantly higher demands on their maintenance, which call for the continual optimization of the service processes with the maximal utilisation effort of the feedback. The appropriate personnel have become the necessity. For these purposes it will be recommended the introduction of the electronic multipurpose memory devices intended for the data collection. In the next step will the after-sale-service process be described with the focus on the usage of these electronic memory vehicle-keys with the reference to the procedural simplification of the maintenance operations. The final part of the thesis will evaluate the general contribution of the proposed resolution for the service processes as well as their users.
Testing of Vehicle Suspension Components
Šidla, František ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with issues related to testing car chassis components during development. Automobile transport is the most common type of long-distance transport. That's why vehicles are constantly evolving to provide the best possible performance. Increasing demands on consumers are being placed on vehicles because of the introduction of modern technologies. New technologies and concepts need to be thoroughly tested that they can be properly integrated into existing models. Test devices for determining the characteristics of the chassis are generally described here using specific examples of individual machines. Subsequently, the work clarifies the testing of the service life of individual parts of the chassis. The last part is devoted to the conceptual design of a simplified hydraulic device for testing coil springs. From the calculated characteristics, a hydraulic actuator and pump are selected from the relevant catalogues. In conclusion, the importance of car testing in development is summarized, individual types of testing are described and the readiness of test devices for the future is indicated.
Modern Materials for Automotive Industry
Vaníček, Jan ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
This work is focused on the description of conventional and unconventional materials that are used to build a car. Individual types of materials are sorted according to their application and characterized in terms of properties and real use. The end of each chapter is devoted to possible future trends.
Motors for automotive wipers
Sekerka, Jan ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the innovation of DC motors with permanent magnets used in automotive technology to drive wiper mechanism to reduce the volume and weight of the active materials. Potential innovations is mainly using magnets of the magnetic rare earths, such as Neodym or samarium-cobalt. Another option is to reduce the rotor to decreases the number of threads (here, it's all about, what are the requirements for performance). The result is an innovative motor, wherein the volume of the permanent magnets is reduced by 65% and total volume of the motor by 23% while maintaining the rotor parts. Also slightly raised performance with Neodymium permanent magnets.
Cars in Taxes
Valchářová, Lada ; Penka, Miroslav (referee) ; Kopřiva, Jan (advisor)
The Bachelor’s Thesis deals with problems of car taxation. The aim is to gather the information needed for reducing tax liability caused by cars. Obtained theoretical knowledge is then applied to specific examples.
PC application design animation scripts for animated features headlamps / tail lamps.
Kalina, Michal ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and creation of user-friendly computer application, which is in the simple and intuitive way capable of creating animation scripts for animated features of headlamps and tail lamps used in automotive industry. Part of this solution is visualization of these scripts using miniature computer Raspberry PI and suitable diplay device.
