Testing of aircraft hydraulic systems
Suk, Filip ; Bencalík, Karol (referee) ; Třetina, Karel (advisor)
My bachelor thesis “Testing of aircraft hydraulic systems“ discusses the problems of testing particular components and complete hydraulic systems. In the first part of my work, there are specified all regulation requirements that are to be fulfilled by hydraulic systems and test conditions for testing of flight control systems. The next parts deal with the way of testing particular hydraulic elements and hydraulic liquids. The last part of my bachelor thesis is dedicated to the testing's principle of hydraulic system of landing gear including a concept for instrumentation.
Design of a aircraft for towing and basic acrobtics
Loutocký, Jiří ; Šošovička, Róbert (referee) ; Mališ, Michal (advisor)
This master thesis solves conceptual design of aerotow airplane and airplane for basic aerobatics. Airplane is designed by using of specification CS-23. The first part of the thesis solves conceptual design. Especially possible concepts and choice the best one according to requests. Next part deals with flight performance of aerotow airplane in normal flight and also in aerobatics. The third part is engaged in main flight performance in aerotow. 3D system model of whole aircraft and compact disk with mentioned 3D model and electronic version of thesis is also added.
Modification of Horizontal Tail of VUT100 aircraft
Janhuba, Luboš ; Juračka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jebáček, Ivo (advisor)
The goal of the submitted Diploma Thesis is the Proposal of modifications of the horizontal tail (HT) of the plane VUT 100 by increasing the shoulder of HT and reduce of the HT surface. The Diploma Thesis consists of assessing the benefits of position adjustments, load calculation and the proposal of the basic design.
Single-engined multipurpose transport aeroplane by the CS/FAR 23 category
Fiala, Luboš ; Jebáček, Ivo (referee) ; Píštěk, Antonín (advisor)
Thesis deals with design of a single-engine aircraft. The purpose of this aircraft design is to carry up nine passengers. The work outlines technical solution of several structural elements. The design starts with aerodynamic calculations, mass analysis and concludes with calculation of flight performance and development cost estimation.
Turboprop powerplant installation into small twoseater airplane
Kövér, Ondřej ; Jebáček, Ivo (referee) ; Juračka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the problem of application of turboprop engine to a small 2-seater airplane. In the first part, reasons why the application is in considered are stated. Then, the air-plane is characterised, the choice of the most suitable engine, propeller and the weight analysis is made and the centres of gravity are calculated. For chosen engine and propeller, in chapter 6, the flight performance is calculated. In chapter 7 follows calculations of flight envelopes and the lim-it positive and negative load factor is stated. Flight envelopes calculations are followed by the calculation of engine mount loads of flight and ground cases. In chapter 9, the design of engine mount, inlet and outlet system and positioning of important elements are solved. The design part is followed by strength analysis of engine mount and its attachment into engine partition.
Load calculation and design of control system
Lontras, Martin ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jebáček, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis deals with the control system of two-seater aircraft corresponding to CS-23 Level 2. First load calculations of each control surface are performed using the proses described in previous CS-23 regulation. This load is calculated trought the steering mechanism to control elements in cockpit. The resulting forces on the control elements are compared with the requi-rements in CS-23. Because the steering forces meets requirements is not necessary to propose changes in steering kinematics. However, there are further suggested ways of adjusting the control in case the external load would increase during further development of the airplane. At the end, the strength calculation of entire mechanism is preformed.

Design of fore part of fuselage and engine mounting of TL-4000 aircraft
Löffelmann, František ; Jebáček, Ivo (referee) ; Vaněk, František (advisor)
The thesis solves mounting of Continental IO-55ON to four-seat all composite aeroplane. Weight analysis of weights carried by engine mounting was done and loads of mounting and nose gear attached directly to mounting was computed according to CS-23 regulation. Mounting was designed based on affordable information about similar aeroplanes and it was sized due to Nastran/Patran system strength analysis. Further reinforcing of fire wall, engine covers and forms for their manufacture was suggested.
