Rendering Clouds in Real Time
Dostál, Radek ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis is about algorithms which render clouds in real time. The theoretical section deals with clouds in real world and also describes some algorithms for modeling and rendering them. The aim of practical section is implement one of these real time algorithms and develop demonstrational application.
Design of Device for Vehicle Center of Gravity Height Measurement
Rektořík, Jiří ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
The objective of this diploma thesis is the design of a device that measures the vehicle’s centre of gravity height position. The first part defines individual methods of measurement using various measuring equipment. The next part deals with the definition of requirements for the device and the definition of the design. A stress-strain analysis was executed for selected components. This diploma thesis describes the preparation process of the vehicle and the device for the measurement. The next part is dedicated to the design of the measuring chain and to the evaluation of the results. The thesis concludes with a theoretic analysis of the measurement inaccuracy.
Medical Data Rendering in Real-Time
Lengyel, Kristián ; Havel, Jiří (referee) ; Jošth, Radovan (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of an application for medical data imaging in real-time. The first part of project is focused on methods for obtaining data in medical practice and visualization of large volume data on computer using familiar rendering approaches. Similar applications are used outside of medicine in other fields, such as chemistry to display molecular structures or microorganisms. Another part of project will focus on benefits of visualization of volumetric data using programmable hardware and new methods of parallelization of algorithms on graphics card using CUDA technology, and OpenCL. The resulting application will display the volume of medical data based on selected method accelerated by programmable shaders, and time-consuming operations will be paralleled on graphics card.
Graphics Scene Visualization Using OGRE Library
Ondrejíček, Marián ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to investigate the possibilities of the OGRE visualization library and to implement an application which utilizes both simple and advanced OGRE features. Furhtermore there are explained basics of creating effects using Cg language and connecting them with OGRE library. The Bullet library which is often used in visualization applications for physics calculations is analyzed as well. The second part describes implementation of the demo application. In the end, the results are discussed, including possibilities of future development.
