Study of the interaction of hazardous metal – microplastic
Sinčáková, Lenka ; Řezáčová, Veronika (referee) ; Doležalová Weissmannová, Helena (advisor)
Mikroplasty, široko zastúpené vo vodnom prostredí, slúžia ako vektor širokej škály kontaminantov, vrátane ťažkých kovov. Táto práca sa zaoberá adsorpciou piatich ťažkých kovov (Pb, Hg, Zn, Cu and Cd) na polyetylén tereftalát (PET), rozšírený polutant riek a morí. Pokiaľ ide o vplyv veľkosti mikroplastov na proces adsorpcie, nebol zistený jasný trend. Salinita prostredia má značný vplyv na adsorpčný proces s pozorovateľným poklesom adsorbovaných množstiev v prostredí s vysokou iónovou silou. Analyzované ťažké kovy boli zoradené vzostupne podľa ich schopnosti adsorpcie na PET nasledovne: Hg

Storage Mediums within the Times
Berecz, Tomáš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Křena, Bohuslav (advisor)
This paper discusses portable storage mediums. In the begining a set of characteristics is presented, by which the storage mediums are rated, along with a division of basic types of stored information. After the definition of the characteristics a chronological overview of the storage mediums is disclosed, with a detailed description. To sum up the paper, a group of tables may be found in the end, in which the mediums are sorted acording to different characteristics.
Grammar Systems and Syntax-Directed Translation Based on Them
Handlíř, Jaroslav ; Martiško, Jakub (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
The thesis examines the theory of formal languages in the field of context-free grammars. It focuses mainly on the possibilities and models of collaborating grammars to solve a common problem. In this context, it presents grammatical systems that have been designed as a formal means for describing distributed and parallel processing. After introducing to the problematics, the thesis focuses on the practical use of these mechanisms in the translation controlled syntax, and therefore the second part of the thesis deals with the implementation of a dynamic syntactic analyzer that uses more grammars during the analysis. With respect to the greatest user friendliness and the possible didactic use, the application is implemented using modern web technologies HTML5, JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS3, LESS and more.
Solving problems of CD and PMD in optical networks
Motúz, Rastislav ; Šifta, Radim (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to analyse dispersions which are affecting a high-speed transfer in optical systems. It is focused on chromatic – CD and polarisation mode – PMD dispersion. It is devoted to definitions, limit values, methods of measurements and compensation methods against disturbance to the final quality of transmission. The thesis is divided into the three-chapter long theoretical part and the practical part which contains two chapters. The results of the extensive experimental measurements done by CD/PMD tester – modular platform EXFO FTB-200 are stated in the practical part and partly in the Appendix too. The output of the measurement confirms the theoretical assumptions stated in the theoretical part and thus proves the aim of the thesis to be achieved.
The heavy metal contamination of selected sites in Ostrava
Mihočová, Silvie ; Pavlovský, Jiří (referee) ; Doležalová Weissmannová, Helena (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the assessment of contamination of non-agricultural soils of selected locations in Ostrava of hazardous metals. Selection of locations was based on the stationary pollution source REZZO1. Total 36 collected samples from 12 locations in three times periods between July 2010 and March 2011 that each collection represented a different time period for characteristic emissions conditions. The risk of metals mercury, cadmium, lead, copper and chromium were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry (F AAS, ET AAS, AMA 254).The influence of the distance of locations from stationary sources of REZZO1 on the extent of soil contamination by selected metals was confirmed.
Correlation dimension analysis for heart rate variability analysis
Ptáček, Ondřej ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of heart rate variability (HRV). By focusing on the analysis of HRV in the time domain and mainly using correlation dimension. It is necessary to propose a methodology for evaluating changes in HRV data using these two techniques of analysis and the comparison of the two approaches. Subsequently create an application in MATLAB for analysis of HRV, which is able to evaluate the effect of changes in HRV caused by ischemia. In the last section it is necessary to discuss the results and the comparison of the two approaches to detect changes induced by ischemia.
