Path Planning Algorithms Visualisation
Řepka, Michal ; Uhlíř, Václav (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
Finding of collision free path is central in creation of mobile, autonomous robot. Goal of this paper is to show the most important algorithms implementing such solutions. It also describes application that is being created to allow students experiment with these methods. For this purpose it uses library that was introduced by Jakub Rusnák in 2017, which means this is a continuation and possibly extension of his work.
Game Development Process
Froehling, Kryštof ; Sedláček, Pavel (referee) ; Šedrlová, Magdalena (advisor)
Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem videoher a vším potřebným k vytvoření úspěšné videohry. První část práce rozlišuje všechny různé role vývojářského týmu a jejich souvislosti. Druhá část analyzuje časovou osu a cíle různých fází vývoje videohry a zároveň hodnotí pozitiva a negativa práce s vydavatelem. Brány v úvahu jsou také certifikační a hodnotící procesy. Třetí a poslední část nabízí pohled do zákulisí vývoje videoher prostřednictvím rozhovoru s herním vývojářem.

Selecting an open source tool for test management
Tauer, David ; Ženíšek, Jan (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on selecting an open source tool for test management for a small development team in a medium-sized software company which develops its own product. The main objective is to select the most suitable test management tool using criteria adapted to a particular company. To achieve this objective, it is suitable to first describe software testing in general, such as its life cycle, types of tests, and furthermore to define terms which are used in the thesis. The following chapters include the description of the company for which the test management tool is being selected, which goes into detail about the current methods of testing, as well as specific customs of testing in this company. The next chapter offers an overview of the tools from which the most suitable tool is being selected, including the description of the criteria used to select the tool and methods of their evaluation. Afterwards, the selection of the most suitable tool is performed which is evaluated in the conclusion chapter. The selection method described in this thesis and the following deployment of the selected tool, as well as other internal changes, will help improve the testing workflow in the company and thus improve the quality of the product supplied to the company's customers.
Analysis and evaluation of communication streams in application support
Čihák, Michael ; Střížová, Vlasta (advisor) ; Kastner, Pavel (referee)
Diploma thesis is focused on evaluation of communication streams in the process of application support also known under the term IT support. Thesis is divided into three main parts: In the first part outlines the topic of application support. Methodology of Testing Web Applications
Šplíchalová, Marcela ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Hostomský, Stanislav (referee)
The principle aim of this thesis is to create an unified methodical framework for a smaller Software Testing Department. Furthermore, its aim is to define and describe an important element of testing - the software mistake, define the way of its reporting and finally with the view of it to specify the troubleshooting areas of web applications. The last aim is to find a solution of how to publish this methodology. The aims of this thesis were reached by studying available theoretical findings and applications of principles that are known from notorious and approved methodologies which complexly focus on the software development. These principles were confronted with author's practical experience. Based on these processes, the methodology described above has been originated The contribution of the thesis is in the inner structure of the methodology, summarization of the most important information, application of practical personal experiences and adapting some elements of the methodology according to its usage in a small team. Other strong points are the proposals and recommendations of how to improve the situation on the testing department of a particular company, how to publish the methodology and how to maintain it in the future. The thesis is composed of three main parts. In the first chapter, the essential characteristics of testing, models of the life cycle of software development, sorts and levels of tests are given. The second chapter is the crucial part of the thesis. It describes the whole methodology - the main workflow and its details (processes), activities made during these processes, roles occurring in the methodology and the description of its responsibility (for activities and artefacts), artefacts made on the testing department, full description of mistake and its reporting and finally the summary of mistakes appearing in the web applications environment. The last chapter attends to the way of putting the methodology into operation - technical coverage of particular parts of the methodology in the present time, suggestion of improvement the testing in the future and possibilities of the publication of the methodology.
