Pendulum table in the bodywork shop for automotive
Lehman, Branislav ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is about designing a pendulum table for the bodywork shop in the Automotive area. The aim of the work is to achieve a search from which the information necessary for the design, drawing the necessary dimensions and performance calculations is drawn. The main goal is to create a conceptual design, select components and perform control strength calculations. The last task is to create drawing documentation for the pendulum table assembly and workshop drawings.
LED Driver evaluation kit for Automotive Front-Lighting
Večeřa, Jindřich ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of evaluation platform for integrated circuit NCV78934, which is designed to control LED headlights in automotive industry. The theory concerning the current regulation of buck converter, schematic design, PCB design and software design are also included in the thesis. Finally the measured data and testing procedures of the designed evaluation platform are discussed.
RGB MATRIX LED system
Sikora, Roman ; Fedra,, Zbyněk (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the development of a control software for the rear RGB LED lamp, which allows to design and display any color schemes. The first part of the work aims at development of complete Raspberry Pi 3 control software. Next thing which the thesis deals with is design of user interface for Windows platform for easy creation of color schemes which includes typical functions for a rear lamps like a tial, stop, reverse, fog, direction indicator, coming home and leaving home. Next part of the work is implementation of the control for the model via CAN bus which is used in automotive technology, and to develop the control software for Windows platform. In the project the whole model with Raspberry Pi is tested for Conducted emissions.
The Use of Inerter in Vehicle Design
Lanzendörfer, Tomáš ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the inerter application in vehicle’s suspension. The aim was to perform a theoretical analysis of its features, to compare its construction layouts, to create a multibody model of the car’s suspension and to analyse inerter’s effects while performing different driving manoeuvres. All analyses were performed by MSC Adams View software with a little support from Matlab. The quality of ride comfort and accessible traction force were increased by the inerter almost in every case, and dynamic load of the suspension was also decreased in some cases. The inerter is a device with high potential, but with high purchase costs as well, so further development and practical research is necessary.
Driver monitoring
Pieger, Matúš ; Bilík, Šimon (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design of systems for data collection which describe the driver’s behaviour in a car. This data is used to detect risky behaviour that the driver may commit due to inattention caused by the use of either lower or higher levels of driving automation. The thesis first describes the existing safety systems, especially in relation to the driver. Then it deals with the design of the necessary measuring scenes and the implementation of new systems based on the processing of input images which are obtained via the Intel RealSense D415 stereo camera. Every system is tested in a real vehicle environment. In the end the thesis contains an evaluation regarding the detection reliability of the created algorithms, it considers their shortcomings and possible improvements.
Use of 3D printing in the production of functional prototypes for automotive
Mikulášek, Marek ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with the 3D printing of composite materials. The constant development of this technology has enabled the application of this method for the production of prototypes, but also functional components. The theoretical part deals with the study of composite materials and the principle of production using additive technology. In the practical part, an analysis of the suitability of part processing using the 3D printing method is performed on a specific component and than applicated to the assembly hall located in ŠKODA AUTO a.s.
Evaluations of Key Foreign Markets for the Supplier Selection in Society Skoda Auto
Kabáč, Ľudovít ; Tesař, Rostislav (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The Diploma Thesis seeks to evaluate key markets of the SKODA Auto company in terms of purchasing and supply possibilities. It analyzes both Skoda's external and internal environments and assesses current conditions in their key foreign supply market. Furthermore, it describes the purchasing process, methods of localization of suppliers, as well as possible methods of evaluation of Skoda's suppliers. The Thesis should provide the reader with an overview of current trends and opportunities in Skoda's supplier market.
DC-DC converter for matrix beam module
Sikora, Roman ; Dobesch,, Aleš (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the development of buck-boost DC-DC converter which supplies matrix beam module. The design is focused on testing two-phase boost converter and three channel buck converter manufactured by NXP Semiconductors. Part of the design is implementation of microcontroller for converter control and communication with computer. Part of the thesis is also to design user interface on Windows platform for easy system configuration. Next thing the thesis deals with is designing load for DC-DC converter that is variable and can make different current consumption. One part of this thesis is focused to achieve the lowest conducted emissions and to maximize conducted immunity. Part of this project is production of a prototype and prototype testing.
Thermal dissipation optimization of LED Driver devices NCV78964 and NCV78925
Rejthar, Martin ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
Thesis is aimed at automotive DC/DC convertor analysis. It introduces categories of DC/DC convertors by their architecture. Converters are then divided to step-up and step-down. Later the types of power losses are introduced. Theory is closed with thermal design rules and cooling of integrated circuits. After basic convertor analysis, one specific Integrated Circuit is described in more detail. Especially its principles of operations and this IC is used in an evaluation board. Thesis predicts the thermal parameters of modules and these results are compared with measured data, acquired on modules, that were designed too.
Design of internal MSA methodology in the company
Tesařová, Tereza ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to design suitable procedures for the internal MSA methodology, by means of which a company operating in the automotive industry determines the acceptability of a measurement system. The thesis contains a brief description and comparison of MSA, VDA 5 and ČSN ISO 22514-7 methodologies. It focuses in more detail on the evaluation of acceptability according to the MSA methodological manual. The tools for statistical data evaluation are also compared. The output of the work is an internal methodology with procedures for quantitative and qualitative data, with their analysis and statistical evaluation using selected software.
