The project for building a member database
Rumplík, Martin ; Krč, Petr (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
The object of this bachelor's thesis is to create a design of database for needs of a civil association Cyrilek.net. The objective of this database is to cover all registration processes in frame of this organization, which deal especially with filling personal information and notes about installed hardware. An user interface for access to the database will be also designed and partially realized in form of information system, which will be accessible through web browser.
Wireless Network
Vincour, Jan ; Popelka, Dušan (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The focus of this Bachalor`s thesis is the design and realization of the wireless network in the company LINDEN s.r.o. The goal is to extend the current WiFi coverage to the entire company and fulfill the company`s requirements on the network availability and security.
Design and implementation of communication protocol allowing message exchange between WLAN access points using IPv6
Bartal, Boris ; Jelínek, Mojmír (referee) ; Molnár, Karol (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is about programming of network application in programming language C a its implementation in an access point. In the first part of the thesis, theory of used technologies is described, along with access point configuration and installation of operating system OpenWrt, which is necessary for usage of the applications in an access point. The second part describes and explains the process of programming of the aplication and its implementation to access points.
Optimization of hand-over process in real network environment
Hornyak, Tomáš ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Molnár, Karol (advisor)
This Master´s thesis deals especially with exploration of the handover process and with searching for ways of in?uencing this process. The goal of this thesis is to create tools for recording of access point utilization and in?uence the handover of wireless clients based on the obtained data. An access point with open ?rmware, which allows low-level management, was necessary for practical tests. First chapter deals with a survey of current o?er of open ?rmware available for access points and then the appropriate candidate for this thesis is chosen – the OpenWRT project. Second chapter deals with the con?guration of OpenWRT system and basic settings of the chosen wireless router – TP-Link TL-WR1043ND. Next chapter deals with analysis of the handover process in wireless networks. Information obtained by this analysis is used during the creation of the graphic application. The fourth chapter presents the basics of Microsoft Native Wi-Fi API and introduces basic functions used by this API. Those functions were used during the creations of the application. Last two chapters present the created graphic application. The ?fth chapter deals with the application design and examination of its functionality and used functions. Last chapter then documents usability of the application in real environment.
Wireless Fidelity Networks
Řezníček, Milan ; Taft, Karel (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
In this bachelor´s thesis I deal with the problems of wi-fi networks, concretely their security. The results of surveying are mentioned in the practical part of my work, in which I wanted to find out if at least 50% of wi-fi networks in several cities of Břeclav region are secured by WEP or WPA. Proposals how to improve wireless network security by some types of networks are mentioned in conclusion of my thesis.
High speed mobile access using "Femtocell" solution
Novák, Vladimír ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes principle of mobile networks, their generation and evolution. The infomation about data transfer and third ganeration of mobile system are written in detail because they are in tight context with main submission of the thesis. Next, the historical and technical information about Femtocells technologie (especially implementation, architecture, solving of providers) are mentioned. In practical part of the thesis the solving of Femtocells technologie for 100 family houses nearby bigger city is realized. Economic confrontation macrocells network with Femtocells component network is described. Calculation of Femtocells cost savings is done.
Wireless Fidelity Networks
Bradáč, Dušan ; Slezák, Vít (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
This document generally concerns of wireless networks. This job suggest building-up access point (surching for the place, economic part and technical part). Consequently suggest solutions clients stations (type of facilities, way of installations, financial and technical parts). Lastly it focus on servis in sence of repairs and renovation both access point and clients part.
Multimedia services in wireless networks
Bučina, Peter ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mácha, Tomáš (advisor)
The main topic of my diploma thesis is dedicated to the issue of wireless networks mostly aimed at IEEE 802.11 standard. Theoretical part of the thesis is divided into three main chapters. It deals with basic overview of standards, architecture, utilization of radio spectrum and modulating techniques in signal processing. Further, it describes basic security measures and quality of service requirements in WLAN networks. The thesis is complemented by two separate laboratory assignments focused on procedure related to the chosen problematic. The first assignment handles common steps to break ciphered protocols WEP and WPA in WLAN’s. Linux software called Back Track 5 was used to provide complete package of tools for WLAN security tests. The second one is aimed at practical options on video streaming in converged wireless networks and also at remote access of mobile users to wireless IP camera video stream.
Integrated telecommunication environment
Tomeček, Jan ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Polívka, Michal (advisor)
The thesis described the proposal for a wireless network problems. There are recorded and compared the characteristics of different wireless technologies. The possibility of voice communication securing is outlined and solutions implemented in the form of ZRTP protocol. The requirements for quality of service are discussed and the solutions to this issue are proposed. Other chapters are devoted to the actual design of specific equipment, including antennas and advance resource. The whole network is practically implemented in the mountainous countryside of eastern Wallachia. In conclusion, this work is network mate in terms of QoS (quality of service) and tested in terms of prioritization of voice communication.
Device for automatic measurement of volt-ampere characteristics
Ondráček, Petr ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The Master's thesis discusses the design and realization of electronic meter of volt-ampere characteristics using Wifi module ESP32. The device is designed to be able to measure the characteristic in the voltage range of +/- 20 V and current range of +/- 200 mA. The device is controlled by web interface. The user is able to connect to it with for example his or her smartphone. This interface enables the user to configure various parameters, including the range of measurement and the power restriction. Furthermore, it is possible to graphically display the measured characteristic and export the data. To be independent on the outer network, the ESP32 is operated as an access point, which is creating a new simple network without the internet connection. In the Master's thesis, the principle of voltage and current measurement is explained theoretically, the circuit connection of device and the printed circuit board are designed and the cover of the device is modeled. Also the process of creating the device according to the design is described and the cover of the device is printed on 3D printer. After that, the control program is designed, described and uploaded into the resulting device. Finally, the functionality of the device is tested by measuring the volt-ampere characteristics of a few components.
