Analysis of offence after active defence

Title: Analysis of Offence after Active Defence Objectives: The primary objective of this thesis is to implement quantitative and qualitative analysis of offence after reaching the ball during active defence within Bayern Munich matches. Attacks finished with a shot or a final pass. Consequently, the aims in view will be evaluated. Methods: The work uses the indirect observation method in particular matches which were available due to video records. Successful attacks were analysed according to quantity and quality. This analysis is focused on a detailed study of each attack from its foundig thanks to gaining the ball during active defence to its ending. Results: The results show the types and models realized during the monitored attacks of Bayern Munich team within the UEFA Champions League 2012/2013. Further, offensive and defensive phases of the game in the modern aspect of football are clarified. Last but not least, we are able to apply the models in question to different achievement groups. Author: Marek Martinovský Thesis name: Candidate endorsement in media under Economia, Ltd. before the Czech presidential election 2013 and 2018 Abstract The subject matter of this thesis is to analyse the phenomenon of media endorsement during the Czech presidential elections of 2013 and 2018 in the Czech media landscape. The sample consists of media outputs of two select media under the Economia publishing house, namely Hospodářské noviny and the Aktuálně.cz news website, 14 days prior to the second round of both elections. The paper discusses various theoretical aspects of newspaper endorsement in - mostly US - media and briefly presents examples in the Czech ones as well. The core of the thesis is a quantitative content analysis via which we can attain the volume of explicit and implicit candidate support in select media, as well as find any correlation with the concrete examples of endorsement in both outlets. The secondary goal of the thesis is to provide data about the previously unmapped terrain of endorsement during the 2018 Czech presidential election

Czech Presidential Elections 2013 : A Gender Perspective

The theme of the work will focus on the first direct presidential elections in the Czech Republic in 2013 from the perspective of gender division of male and female candidates. The work will analyze the self-presentation of individual candidates and their presentation by the media. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the course of the campaign in terms of gender. It will also focus on selected media and map how they present male and female candidates also in terms of gender. The analysis will stem from public events and their representation by the media. I will analyze data collected during the campaign, performance in media and statements of the candidates, with special attention to the behavior and self- presentation of male and female candidates and to the media. The aim of the work is to give a coherent view, whether and how the candidates present their gender and how the media present them in terms of gender.
