The topic of this thesis is a new school facility of Leisure time center Kostka. The Leisure time center is a deteched two-sotrey building on mildly sloping land. The building is basementless. The Leisure time center is located next to the kindergarten and elementary school.The layout includes a building of 11 classrooms and is designed for 163 children. Perimeter, internal bearing and non-bearing walls are designed from brick blocks. Ceilings are made by using prestressed ceiling panels. The building is roofed by a single-flat roof and walkable intensive green roof.

School maturity and the beginning of school attendance from the perspective of parents of primary school pupils in Kladno

The thesis deals with school maturity, stage of psychological evolution in the preschool and the early school age. The solution will view parents of future pupils from three primary schools Kladno on school readiness and the onset of schooling and in this sense, the results of the survey are compared. The theoretical part will solve the view of a child under school age from various angles, his cognitive development, socialization and the other. Furthermore, I will deal with school maturity and readiness, cognitive, somatic and emotional level of development of the child at the onset of schooling. Three elementary schools, where research was conducted, will be presented in detail .The practical part analyzes the survey, carried out on the day of enrollment in the first grade of Primary School in Kladno, C. Bouda 1188 of 2011, which I repeated three years later and expanded research on Elementary School Kladno, Vašatova and Primary School Kladno, Vodárenská. By gaining survey results from three of parents interested in education of future first-graders is created.

Specific needs of a child with type 1 diabetes mellitus in pre-primary and primary education

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of children and pupil´s education and with type 1 diabetes mellitus. It focuses on the ways to meet the specific health disadvantages needs and how the child with diabetes is integrated into the school activities. At the beginning of this work, the substance of this chronic disease, its treatment and methods of compensation using the latest technologies in blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration is characterized. Furthermore, the possible risky situations that can be encountered during the child's educational process and how to respond to these situations are described. The practical part is based on the direct experience of parents whose diabetic children attend a kindergarten and a primary school.

The forecast of attendance in Choceň up until the year 2015 through the time series

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the demographic development and student attendance at kindergartens and primary schools in Choceň. The main objective is to forecast the number of students enrolling in the first year program's up until the year 2015. Predicted numbers are then compared with the current capacities at these school institutes and, in conclusion, the appropriate solutions are suggested. Sample procedure and generated forecast can be useful to Choceň Council to prevent the problems with insufficient capacity at kindergartens and primary schools.
