Nursery Management in Pedagogical Process

The master's thesis deals with the management of nurseries and related requirements, focusing on the management and the quality of the pedagogical process with respect to managerial and administrative duties of head teachers. The goal of the study is to analyse the motivation for running for nursery head teacher, adaptation process and head teacher duties, including the impact of managerial and administrative responsibilities on the pedagogical process quality in nurseries. Special attention is paid to the comparison of head teachers of different types of nurseries. The empirical part of the master's thesis answers the following questions: What was the motivation of head teachers for applying for the job? How many hours a day do head teachers engage in pedagogical and managerial activities? Do head teachers believe that their managerial and administrative duties have a negative impact on the quality of the pedagogical process? What are the differences between head teachers' jobs at different types of nurseries? The thesis uses both qualitative and quantitative research. A survey was conducted among a larger number of respondents, providing a basis for a questionnaire for head teachers of eight selected nurseries. Kindergarten controlling system

Final thesis is a description of the management system in nursery schools in the Czech Republic. It presents a view of the management mainly through the basic management skills of a headmaster, which are planning, organizing, human resources, leadership and controlling. The research results provide a profile of a headmaster who has a certain managerial expertise and management skills. Furthermore, the research part contains analysis of the use of managerial roles by respondents and presents findings about the influence that management education has on the use of management tools in the management of a nursery school. The coneerns of managers of kindergartens when they admit 2 year old children to kindergartens

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the subject 'Concerns of pre-primary school managers when accepting two-year-old children in pre-primary schools'. The theoretical part contains the specificities of two-year-old child development, namely the biological specificities as well as the psychomotor and emotional and social development aspects. The second part is dedicated to the education requirements for two-year-old children. As two-year-old children are at a different level of development, it is necessary to create conditions that correspond to their needs from basic material conditions such as classroom equipment and facilities to the daily programme arrangements. The last theoretical part concerns the current pre-primary school and its management. It outlines the competences of pre-primary school teachers and directors and describes the Education Strategy 2020. The practical part aims at finding out by using the mixed survey approach what are the most important concerns of pre-primary school managers when accepting children in pre-primary-schools. Basic data collection was conducted on the basis of semi-structured interviews with school managers. The interview results serve as a basis for drawing up a questionnaire survey to ensure a larger amount of results.

Delegating powers and competences when managing a kindergarden.

The thesis is talking about the delegating of the competences in the kindergardens of Pilsen. The thesis also compares the delegating of competences in these kindergardens from the point of view of size of these kindergardens and the experience of their management. It analyses the situation of the level and ammount of the competences delegated in these kindergardens by the management to the employees. The thesis compares the opinions of different authors about the management and development of the team. In the theoretical point of view it deals with the employees´ motivating, and delegating of the competences of the manager. The thesis also offers the proposal of the complex solution of the management competences delegating which can be used at the real kindergarden.
