Safety assessment of the technical operation of the airport

The thesis deals with the safety of technical operation of the airport. The different procedures and rules for safety management are described and an overview of safety incidents from airport operations in Europe is presented. Furthermore, attention is paid to the different parts of the safety issue with regard to the human factor and related events within the airport ground operations. In the final part of the thesis, a risk assessment is developed for selected airport operation procedures, using the safety risk management process based on the ICAO model.

In the beggining Thesis describes the begining of safety management, why was the system created and how it developed in the past. The main part of the Thesis is focused on identification of software tools for easier implementation of Safety management system in the training organizations. Another part of the Thesis is focused on aplication of selected software tools on small training organization (ATO) with complex disposition.

Smart Home Security Management

This diploma thesis is focused on increasing Smart Home Control System security in terms of information, network and physical security. It is based on a risk analysis of the current state of applied security management and the needs of the house owner. Both security countermeasure and cost analysis are thoroughly discussed, and the thesis also contains methodology, which describes the management of smart home security and improvement of end-user security awareness.

ICT and security in elementary art schools

This bachelor thesis identifies and defines the security threats for the personal, property, and information safety management by the means of ICT in primary art schools. The manuscript describes processes of security control and risk management, principles of information security guidance according to the ISO/IEC 27000 standard and some of the security system technical designs. The security of electronic data and benefits or drawbacks of information system and data network utilization are also discussed. For better orientation in the topic and to simplify the decission process, an explaination of particular technological principles is provided. The research part of this work is focused on the means of security currently used by primary art schools, the effectivenness of such tools, and the plans for future instalation of new technology. Further, the state of the computer and cable network security in primary art schools is studied with the emphasis on the strength of account password and the password making policy. Finally, the means of wireless network protection, principles of data back-up, and remote desktop work safety are investigated.
