Lieutenant Colonel of General Staff of Czechoslovak Army František Hrubiš (1897-1967)

This work deals with the personality of František Hrubiš (1897-1967), his whole life and setting it in the context of the time. It focuses mainly on his military career and his contribution to many important moments in our history, such as participation in the Czechoslovak legions, later career in the Czechoslovak army during the First Republic, World War II, post-war life and his participation in the trial with Rudolf Slánský. To complete the overall picture of personality, this work deals with a brief history of the family and the environment in which he grew up. The work is based on the testimony of the witness, data found in the documentation of the Military Historical Institute in Prague, documentation from the Archive of the Security Forces and collections of documents of a personal nature stored in the National Archives of Prague, as well as personal family photographs and correspondence. The conclusion is a summary of the information and findings obtained, not only from the documents, but also from the testimony of František Hrubiš's daughter, Jarmila Filipová. Czechoslovak maneuvers 1933 - 1938

Main theme of the thesis is the Czechoslovak Maneuvers in 1936. The thesis is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter focuses on the creation of Czechoslovak army, the perion 1918-1932. The second chapter targets the reorganization of army in the period 1932-1936. The Third chapter is dedicated to the issue of armed forces in the period of the Austrian emperor.The fourth chapter is focused on the Czechoslovak Maneuvres in 1936 and research preparations, course, and made knowleges from the great interwar's maneuvres of Czechoslovak army. The fifth chapter closes arbitration service in the maneuvres. The sixth chapter deals with foreign's delegations on maneuvers and finally the seventh chapter is devoted to attitude and reakcions of czechoslovak's press and mankind.

History of the Czech(oslovakian) reenacting

The goal of this thesis is to do research , as wide as possible, in the most popular part of hobby named reenacting or reenacting (Napoleonic era, Austro-Prussian Wars, American Civil War, Second World War and some new topic - Czechoslovak Peoples Army, Royal Air Force and Czechoslovak Policemen before WW2). Thats mean commemoration and re-enactment of military history and military units in whole its history from time before 1989 to the future. I tried to find grounds of this hobby and describe development of it. As I expected, progress of this hobby or movement is larger, but this hobby existed before 1989 too. Reenactors reenacted and portrayed older conflicts as Napoleonic and Austro-Prussian war. Future reenactors were mainly fencers and tramps. Year 1989 was turning point for all reenactors. Theirs hobby is legal, it is possible to travel, to unite, to ground living history groups, own weapons, speak about all part of our history. It was possible to share and search information, regulation with and in foreign countries, foreigners and archives and museums. Main goal of reenactors is to portray theirs archetypes as good as possible. Public can see not only reconstruction of battles, but open air exhibition - "very interactive museums". Political persecution of soldiers since February 1948

The bachelor paper "Political persecution of soldiers since February 1948" describes persecution of soldiers in the above mentioned era in connection with class-struggle, searching for the state enemy and building so called "Great Army". The thesis describes main means of persecution, their executors and tools and also tries to find out whether the fates of individual soldiers were similar and how they fit in the typology of persecuted groups. The thesis also introduces stories of two soldiers who became victims of this political despotism.

Bachelor thesis The Causes of the Munich Agreement in 1938 deals with the historical events that has led to the Munich Agreement which has been a major incident before the Second World War. The aim of this thesis is to clarify these causes of the Munich Agreement. The causes will be analyzed from four main point of views, the international, domestic, military and moral. Thesis might be used in an educational field to fully understand the circumstances of this event.
