Lamař, Filip. The influence of sundry factors on the price of insurance products in the Czech Republic. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. This thesis examines factors which affect pricing of accident insurance of Kooperativa insurance company and Česká Pojišťovna and of house/flat insurance of Kooperativa insurance company. The thesis is divided into three comprehensive parts: literary research, methodises and the main part. In the theoretical section, both current state of world-wide and Czech insurance market are analysed. Moreover, the insurance products listed above are examined. The middle part of the thesis concerns the methodical approach to data collection. With the help of findings from the literary research, it also determines factors which can hav effect on prices of chosen insurance products. In the final parts of the thesis, regression models for the insurance products in question are composed. The result of the thesis is the identification of influences on the prices of insurance products listed above and recommendations for subjects acting on the insurance market.
Integration of claim system into data warehouse of Česká pojišťovna

The thesis deals with integration of claim system (APH) into DWH of Česká pojišťovna. Aim of the thesis is characteristic and introduction of all the activities that need to be done to make the claim system integrated. Main goal is to analyze source data, to propose logical model of individual DWH layers, to analyze and to design specific mappings and to test defined transformations. The thesis is divided into three logical parts. In the first part there is the general theoretical definition of BI/DWH. The second part presents methods, principles, tools and techniques used in BI/DWH department of Česká pojišťovna, there is also realized characteristic of claim system, and finally this part is about presentation of the basic characteristics of the project Integration of claim system into DWH of Česká pojišťovna. The last part of the thesis is devoted to integration of the claims into all layers of company´s DWH, this means that there is done an analysis of the source data, design of logical model, analysis and design of specific mappings and testing. Author of the thesis was personally involved in the project, because of the fact that he cooperated on the analytical part of the project. Author´s contribution consists in comprehensive elaboration of the subject of the thesis, but mainly in the presentation of analytical and other activities, which the author implemented by himself, or participated in them.
Marketing mix in insurance industry and the analysis of current marketing strategy of Česká pojišťovna

This thesis is analysing the current marketing strategy of Česká pojišťovna. In particular, it is focused on changes which were realised during the marketing campaign named "Podzimní ofenzíva 2011". There are described innovations of products of insurance, marketing communication and distribution department of Česká pojišťovna. The attention is also dedicated to the creation of insurance prices. In the theoretical part, there are characterised particular parts of marketing mix, service marketing and insurance mar-keting.
Technical provisions of insurance companies and its formation

This bachelor thesis is focusing on technical provisions in the system of insurance. The aim is to provide a comprehensive overview about technical provisions in accordance with valid legal regulations of the Czech Republic. First of all, particular kinds of technical provisions and financial instruments into which insurance companies can invest the resources of technical provisions are described. The following section contains an analysis of the development of technical provisions and their dependence on written premium. The final section is dedicated to technical provisions and their financial placement in Ceska pojistovna, where the productiveness of investments is quantified for the year 2011.

Position of Ceska pojistovna in the Czech insurance market

This thesis is dedicated to the largest insurance company in the Czech insurance market, Ceska pojistovna, which also has the longest tradition. Position is evaluated from different perspectives. It takes into account the historical context, position in Generali PPF Holding and rating. The new strategy of Ceska pojistovna and some innovations in the insurance products are described. The analysis is performed on indicators such as premium written and market share, as well as profit and different ratios of the financial statements. At the end, it tries to estimate the future development.
Non-life insurance and comparison of selected products of choice insurance companies

The work is focused on the analysis of the insurance market in the Czech Republic. On the grounds of the results of the analysis, there were chosen three largest insurances on the Czech market. Consequently it was described their development over the past five years. The main aim is to compare the selected products of the non-life insurance with those insurers. It was compared offers of lability insurance and accident insurance. On the grounds of results there is no reason to change the existing lability from the insurer Kooperativa. The best option of accident insurance was chosen the offer from the same insurer Kooperativa. In the market is currently no better option insurance premium for my car under my requirements. The best way to negotiate the insurance business as through meetings with insurance company representative.
Position and Future Trends of Česká pojišťovna on the National Insurance Market

Thesis adresses to the position of Česká pojišťovna on Czech insurance market. It envisages Česká pojišťovna as a single subject and shortly looks at its long-time history. Furthermore the thesis focuses on the Czech instance market from historic view, when the market went through crucial changes, which were key not only for Česká pojišťovna. The thesis aims to analyse Czech insurance market, with respect to its past development and today's condition in context of position of Česká pojišťovna in its frame as a single dominant subject. It tries to outline a number of scenarios, analysing the role Česká pojišťovna could play on the Czech insurance market. The position on national insurance market will be considered from three different views. First view will be prescripted life insurance, followed by property-casualty insurance and at the end whole prescripted insurance. The most presumable prediction of the future possible position of Česká pojišťovna on the Czech insurance market will be made in conclusion. Thesis, will focuse on the single position of Česká pojišťovna, so as on its position compared with other subjects on the national insurance market. These other subjects do their best to catch up the leader, or to beat him.

V rámci procesu ocenění jsou zmíněny některé problematické okruhy ocenění, jak obecné, tak i charakteristické pro dané odvětví.
