Biomass for power plants in the off-grid operation

The thesis discusses the use of biomass for electricity island operation. The first chapter explains the concept of biomass and its distribution. It also shows the potential and availability of biomass. The second chapter describes the transformation of biomass into a suitable fuel form. The third to fifth chapter describes the conversion of biomass as a fuel into electrical energy through combustion, Stirling and steam engine. In these chapters there are brought the following parameters and prices of these motors and single-phase and three-phase alternators that can be connected to these engines. Other chapters describe the production of electricity in line with consumption, where the cost per hour to run engines for the various types of fuel and price of the electricity produced in kilowatt hours is calculated. In the last chapter of the thesis there is described the possibility of accumulation of electrical energy.
Basic population register in relation to administration information systems: Data sharing in public administration Czech republic

The work analyzes the current status of the basic population register in relation to agenda information systems. The theoretical part is focused on basic registers in general with a particular attention being paid to the population register. The analytical part examines in detail the current status of all configured and implemented processes that have a direct impact on the functionality of the basic population register in relation to agenda information systems and subsequent data sharing in the public administration of the Czech Republic. Attention is focused on the use and provision of reference data through Web services and information system of basic registers. The paper also analyzes the various approaches of agenda information systems of public authorities to basic Population Register and the implementation of sub-projects that have a direct impact on its operation. Evaluation of individual areas assessed is done using a statistical survey.
The Right to be Forgotten in the European Union Law

The Right to be Forgotten in European Union Law Abstract Aim of this thesis was to analyze a rising legal institute called 'right to be forgotten' and to find an appropriate place for substantive form of this right in European Union law (or out of it). This paper explains the term 'right to be forgotten' and puts it into historical and international law context. It was necessary to analyze a term 'privacy' and its conflict with the right to freedom of speech and expression. From this point of view, the groundbreaking judgement of the Court of Justice of the European Union from 2014 in Google Spain case comprising arguments in support of balancing these fundamental rights for the first time set the parameters of the right to be forgotten. The Google Spain case indicated conceptual changes concerning the right to be forgotten in the EU legislature headed by the GDPR effective as of 2018. Loud criticism against the European Commission's idea of the right to be forgotten declares how controversial this legal institute is. Article 17 of the GDPR as the most questionable provision of the regulation is finally called 'Right to erasure ('right to be forgotten')' which is an obvious compromise in order to satisfy both the critics and the Commission.
