The aim of the theses is to analyse the influence of the Official development assistance on the demographic and economic development with benting on analysis on picked indicators. Furthermore is analyse the national reconciliation process and it´s influence on economic and demographic development of Rwanda. In the theoretical part is defined the Official development assistance, postconflict reconstruction and the main terms for the economic and demographic analysis. The analytical part is devoted to the analysis development of the economy, demography and Official development assistance and the consequent impact of Official development assistance and national reconciliation process on the economic and demographic development. The final proposal part contains possible solutions and proposals, which could ensure better and adequate development of Rwanda.
ANALYSIS OF NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE FIELD OF INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE IN CZECH REPUBLIC 1989-2013

The thesis analyzes the role of NGOs in the field of international development assistance, mainly analyzes the structure of funding and links with the expenditures of the state budget. Total expenditures on official development assistance are set into the structure of the state budget, revenues are quantified in selected non-profit organizations and their structure is outlined. The thesis also covers legislative changes introduced by the new Civil Code. There are used analytical, comparative and descriptive methods by which the author comes to the conclusion that the form of projects implemented by non-profit organizations can be influenced by the Concept of development assistance and subsidies which can be obtained from the state.
The determinants of the sino-sudanese relations in 2000-2010

The thesis deals with the identification of the main determinants of the sino-sudanese relations from 2000 to 2010. The first part focuses on the motivational factors which lead the People's Republic of China to the Sudanese territory. The remaining parts then deal with the particular determinants which are following: energetic dimension of the mutual relations, external actors, the Darfur conflict and Chinese development aid.
The importance of capital flows for Africa

The thesis has for its purpose to depict the importance of the capital flows on the region of Africa, such as of the foreign direct investment, portfolio investment, remattances, loans provided by the Internation Monetary Fund, International Bank for the Reconstruction and Development and by the International Development Association, and the impact of the Official Development Aid. This picture is to be achieved by releaving the macroeconomic characteristics of the region and the evolution of individual flows during the least thirty yaers, and finaly by the outline of positive and negative aspects of these flows on Africa.
Remittances and their comparison with ODA in selected countries of West Africa

This bachelor thesis compares remittances and official development assistance in Ghana and Nigeria. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part the reader is familiar with the theoretical definition of remittances and ODA. The second part describes the situation in the area of remittances in Ghana and Nigeria - including the quantification of the flows of remittances. This section also describes the use and transfer of remittances in the region. The last part compares ODA and remittances in Ghana and Nigeria. The comparison is done primarily by quantification of both flows and their impact on the population and economy of the country. The aim of this thesis is to provide the reader some useful information about remittances and ODA in Ghana and Nigeria.
Development co-operation and non-governmental organizations ( in Czech Republic and Portugal)

The thesis describes the evolution of development co-operation in CR and Portugal, compares impacts of the membership in the EU on the development co-operation systems, answers the question if there is any convergence between development policies and territorial priorities. Further analyses position of NGOs in two countries and their possibility to influence development policy of the government.
