A Tool for Robustness Testing of Web-Services
Zelinka, Tomáš ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This project deals with testing of web services. The result of this work will be a tool for load testing of web services using fault injection in their communication. The first part of the project discusses the basic aspects of testing web services. The second part of the work is more focused on testing high loads in combination with fault injection. The tool will allow automated run of the tests. The distributed model of the tool was designed to simulate real loads. In the last chapter are summarized achieved results.

Zelinka, Tomáš ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on proposal and realization of an application, which will automate browsing of web pages. The head point of this thesis is detailed proposal of real application. The realization is focused on using frameworks and object oriented programming. In conclusion are mentioned reached goals and suggested next extensions of this application.
Evaluation of resting energy expenditure and body composition in obese patients
Jílková, Anna ; Matoulek, Martin (advisor) ; Zelinka, Tomáš (referee)
Introduction: The basis of obesity treatment is a conservative regimen based on a reduced diet and physical activity, individually set for each person. As the obese often show extreme deviations in body composition compared to individuals of normal weight, it is often difficult to determine their energy needs or determine their energy expenditure. The gold standard for determining resting energy expenditure (REE) is examination using indirect calorimetry (IC). This method can also detect deviations from the calculations of predictive equations, determine the degree of adaptation of the individual to low energy intake, and thus set the appropriate therapy. Objectives: The main objective of the work is the analysis and description of data on body composition and resting energy expenditure values of selected groups of obese individuals whose REE measurement results using indirect calorimetry reached a level below 95 % of the predicted REE calculated using the Harris Benedict (H-B) equation. The sub-goals are to describe the dependence of the size of some components of body composition on the size of the REE and to find out if the deviations between the number of the total measured REE and the REE calculated using H-B in the adapted group are significant. Methodology: For the research 71 patients of...
Possibilities of genetic testing in patients with pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma.
Turková, Hana ; Zelinka, Tomáš (advisor) ; Malík, Jan (referee) ; Fryšák, Zdeněk (referee)
1. Abstract Pheochromocytoma/ paraganglioma (FEO/PGL) may be developed on the basis of an inherited genetic mutation of different genes. They are associated with a high risk of developing of secondary hypertension, organ damage and metastatic disease that can be fatal. The aim was to focus on the possibility of genetic testing in patients with FEO/PGL, especially in patients with malignant tumors. The issue FEO/PGL, however, concerns not only the examination and assessment of risks arising therefrom, as well as other therapies and monitoring, including appropriate recommendations for clinical practice. We demonstrated a 20% incidence of cardiovascular (CV) complications before determining the final diagnosis of FEO/PGL, mainly arrhythmic, followed by complications of myocardial ischemia and accentuate atherosclerosis. Elevated levels of vitamin C and decreased levels of malondialdehyde (MDA) following the successful removal of the tumor demonstrated reduction of oxidative stress postoperatively. We found that early postoperative testing of levels of plasma metanephrines to confirm the success of surgical removal of FEO/PGL is already possible, since there was no significant correlation between plasma levels of metanephrines and postoperative examination interval. Distribution of frequency of metastatic...
Breast tumor and lifestyle
Slušňáková, Katarína ; Matoulek, Martin (advisor) ; Zelinka, Tomáš (referee)
Introduction: Breast cancer (CA) is the most common malignant neoplasm in women after other skin tumors. The incidence of obesity and overweight significantly increases worldwide. In recent years, obesity has been associated with a higher risk of developing tumors in postmenopausal women with an estrogen-positive receptor (ER +) and current lifestyle factors such as nutrition and exercise activity play a significant role. Aim: The aim of this work was to evaluate the lifestyle of patients with CA breast. Further describe eating habits based on the frequency of consumption of food groups and evaluate weight development with a focus on the period of diagnosis. Methods: The basis for assessing the lifestyle of patients was the food frequency questionnaire (FFQ), from which we measured the frequency of consumption of the given food groups. Another basis was the weight development graph, where we mainly occupied the weight at the time of diagnosis, as well as further weight development during or after treatment. Results: On the basis of the FFQ, we found that the eating habits of the patients with the recommendations mainly differ. From weight development graphs, we found significant weight fluctuations, whether during or after chemotherapy treatment. The body mass index (BMI), three patients had a BMI...

Portal
Zelinka, Tomáš ; ing. Libor Gála (advisor)
This diploma thesis concerns enterprise portals and its objective is to map their functional support, which they can bring to the company. Especially to the access integration area. To achieve this goal the following proces was selected: The first step was to create theoretical background which describes the area of enterprise portals and how it can be seen. In the following part were set main functional areas whose coverage may be assured by the enterprise portal. These areas are : presentation, personalization and customization, security, administration, content management system, search, collaboration, accessibility and portlets. Another part is focused on the selection of specific portal solutions which are evaluated and comared at the conclusion. These are chosen products : IBM WebSphere Portal, Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2007, Oracle Portal 10g, BEA WebLogic Portal. Personal benefit is particularly comprehensive look into the issue of enterprise portals. Theoretical background makes possible to quickly obtain information which are presented in a logically organizace form. It will ensure continuity in the knowledge absorption. Practical part offers look into the enterprise portal market situation and shows what can offer specific product and at what level.
