Physiotherapy in dysphagic patients with head and neck cancer

Oropharyngeal dysphagia is a frequent complication of oncological treatment of head and neck cancers. It develops in up to half of these patients. Physiotherapy can greatly contribute to the treatment of dysphagia, reduce its severity and improve the quality of life. It certainly has a place in the rehabilitation of dysphagia. Early diagnostics of dysphagia is essential for the proper setting of the therapy. The interdisciplinary cooperation of the dysphagia team is also important. The thesis deals with the benefits of physiotherapy in the treatment of dysphagia. It explores the use of manual medicine, exercises on a neurophysiological basis and analytical exercises. It evaluates the effect using an endoscopy evaluated by a penetration-aspiration scale, a standardized questionnaire and physiotherapy examination. Physiotherapy enables to increase and maintain the range of movement of the mouth and cervical spine, release the hypertone of the superficial neck muscles, modify the muscle dysbalances of the mouth floor, strengthen the muscles of the tongue, mouth floor and deep throat flexors, restore the mobility of the hyoid gland, modify the posture of the head improved coordination of swallowing movements, ensuring adequate hyolaryngeal elevation and adequate muscle strength of the swallowing...
The Safer Internet Programme and the possibilities of its application in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to introduce the Safer Internet Programme of European Union and to describe possibilities of its implementation in the Czech Republic. In the introductory chapter the thesis analyses the European approach to a safer internet, describes its history and emphasizes its main aims and objectives. The chapter also briefly presents particular projects and events held within the Safer Internet Programme. Furthermore describes European Self- Regulation Frames focused on the safe mobile phone and social networking webs usage. The second part of the thesis is devoted to exploring a safe internet in the Czech Republic. Attention is above all paid to educational activities of the Safer Internet National Centre and other institutions. The closing chapter describes the survey (the process and the results) and evaluates the impact of these activities on the selected Prague primary school.
Utilization of dance elements in physiotherapy

Bachelor thesis Utilization of dance elements in physiotherapy Abstract Physiotherapy and dance have in common finding beauty of movement. In contemporary dance naturally occur positions from developmental kinesiology. This thesis brings suggestion of connection elements of contemporary dance and developmental kinesiology and their utilization in physiotherapy with aim to demonstrate and evaluate their effect. Influence of dance elements on musculoskeletal system is evaluated by detailed kinesiological analysis, measuring range of motion in joints, testing muscular force and locomotor stereotypes, and DNS tests. Practicing exercises with dance elements improves postural stabilization, coordination and quality of movement execution.
Motivation to learn foreign languages and the plurilingual repertoire

The bachelor thesis deals with the theme of motivation to learn foreign languages and plurilingual repertoire. The first chapters are focused on basic concepts related to motivation, types of motivation and division of motives. The specifics of motivation in the field of learning foreign languages are also pointed out. The second level of the theoretical part is the plurilingual repertoire. This part is principally devoted to the language politics of the Council of Europe and the Common European Framework for Languages. The empirical part of the bachelor thesis stands on the basis of a survey. The research was focused on students of various specializations of bachelor study at the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The aim of the research was to find out what motivates students to learn foreign languages and which language level they reach in the given foreign languages, in each language skill separately.
Combustion by-products of the power station of Prunéřov and options of their utilization for nature-conservation purposes

The experiment took place in the ash deposit of power plant in the north-west Bohemia, where wasps and bees were investigated. Data were collected on localities of different management and age in May to August, 2015 by pan color traps, when 106 traps were collected (70 traps on succession areas and 36 traps on reclaimed areas). In total, 603 individuals (88 species) were determined. Thirty two species stated in the Red list, 14 species are vulnerable, six species are endangered and 2 species are critical endangered. Succession areas were strictly preferred by 39 species (90 individuals) and reclaimed areas by 12 species (18 individuals).

Bibliotherapy, her importance and use in psychiatric hospital

Bakalářská práce popisuje význam a uplatnění biblioterapie v Psychiatrické léčebně Bohnice. Úvodní kapitola je věnována psychoterapii. Mapuje její historický vývoj, popisuje formy uspořádání a snaží se o vymezení tohoto pojmu. Představuje také další pomocné psychoterapeutické metody, jako jsou například psychodrama, psychogymnastika, arteterapie a muzikoterapie. Další část práce pojednává o biblioterapii, přibližuje její historický vývoj a rozdělení. Pozornost je také věnována působení a účinkům četby. Závěrečná kapitola představuje zařízení Psychiatrické léčebny Bohnice a popisuje průběh individuální a skupinové biblioterapie v tomto prostředí.
The Budget of Europen Union and relation to Structural Funds

European integration means for the member states many duties but on the other hand also many advantages. Among the most significant belongs the possibility to use financial means from EU Budget. The most significant budget items are the structural funds. Structural funds are the financial instrument of regional and structural policy EU with them EU tries to help member states regions to develop. The aim of my works is present the system of functioning EU Budget and also evaluate the system of the financial flows from the budget by the medium of structural funds. I am going to demonstrate this problem on the Czech Republic.
