Religion and children's rights

The diploma work "Religion and children's Rights" deals with difficult relationship between religion and children's rights. First it examines this issue on the basis of the relevant documents and then presents the biggest problems in this area which are referend by human rights defenders. The work is also focused on different religion attitudes to children's rights, examines children's rights in Islam, Judaism and Christianity. It draws attention to the most frequent problems and their most common violations. The final part of the work is devoted to the topic of Christian parent's attitudes to the right to freedom of religion for their children which is established in the Convention on the Rights of the Child. When examining this issue the work uses qualitative research method. There are mainly information gained from interviews which were realized with Roman Catholic parents. The results of these interviews are summarized at the end documenting parent's attitudes to this problem and shows possible approaches to their solving. The organization of the Czechoslovak spiritist movement.

The Dissertation Organization of Czechoslovakian spiritist movement surveys the existence of spiritist groups and communities In Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia and Slovakia on the basis of preserved administrative records and other sources. Their activities and reciprocal organizational links have been reconstructed through an analysis of preserved articles of these communities, administrative records and other reports published in newspapers. A wider context of the problematics has been provided by a treatise of further literature of the period, which reflected the spreading of spiritism. A common feature of most of the communities was their identification with the emerging Czechoslovakian spiritist movement. One of the primary objectives of the movements was to unify the activities of Czechoslovakian spiritists. This process is described from the first suggestions to create a unified organization in 1895, to a forced dissolution of the communities in 1951. The current situation of research in this field does not permit any comparison between the key outputs of the dissertation and the opinions of other authors. Egypt eyes modern hermetism

Hermeticism is a school of thought that is still alive. The authors have different views on how and whether the emergence of ancient Egyptian culture influenced the Hermetic. However, in an environment in which the figure of Hermes Trismegistus was established, we can't ignored the Egyptian's influence in any way. The egyptologists nad religionis almost are not interested in study of hermetism. In contrast of this, the lay people were always inerested in it and currently many alternative religions and movements are based on it.

Theme: Can we found mechanisms of Sects in the Protestant Churches? This work brings knowledge of some of the mechanisms of functioning together, as in the Churches and Sects. In the individual chapters are described, the mechanisms for the management and operation of the community, methods and practices of acquiring new members, and finally, mechanisms and practices to maintain these new members within the community. The result is the acquisition of new knowledge concerning the diversity and contrast, on the common features they share each other's Protestant Church amd Sects. The aim of the work is to draw attention to the mechanisms in the Christian Church, which is harmful and should therefore be deleted.
