Optimization of inventory management in Rhiag Group

The thesis deals with inventory management in Rhiag Group. It is particularly focused on enhancement of model which is used for relocation of goods within the group. Purpose of this model is to improve allocation efficiency measured by items write-off value. Initially, author describes making of database which enables quantifying benefits of relocation, followed by testing of optimal relocation algorithm settings and determinig maximal delivery values for each relocation flow. In conclusion, optimal parameters of the model are recommended and benefits for Rhiag Group are estimated.
Analysis and technology solution of logistics in production in company Tawesco

The aim of this thesis is to prepare subsidiary, assistant data for delegating the service of forklifts in the production in company Tawesco s.r.o. The main topic is to create the comparison of current situation with the suggested solution, meaning comparison of total costs for the activity of buying and then maintenance by internal resources with the variation of lease and outsourcing the maintenance service on external provider. The process of this work is firstly collecting meaningful data, then organization and interpretation of this data. Out from the analysis of current situation is then made the simulation that compares 4 different types of providing given forklift's service. This comparison is detailed from the point of costs and time importance. Results from my thesis are the main subsidiary material for the future decision making about the service of forklifts in company Tawesco s.r.o.
Purchasing process of Intruder Alarm System from abroad

This thesis analyses the purchasing process of a specific product from abroad. This thesis is focused on the specifics of intruder alarm system. The theoretical part is focused on describing the standard purchase and purchasing process. The practical part applies the standard purchase process on the purchase of intruder alarm system from abroad. Then the differences compared to standard purchase process and the risks are analyzed. Thanks to the aforementioned analysis, it is possible to define an ideal purchase process for this specific type of product.
Rising trends in production logistics

Thesis focuses especially on Průmysl 4.0 (which is a Czech alternative of Industry 4.0 concept) and its potential in the Czech Republic. It acquaints readers with aspects that Průmysl 4.0 should bring into particular spheres. Průmysl 4.0 is put in the context of various national industrial visions, focusing on the German concept Industrie 4.0. Through the analysis, comparison, summarization and generalization thesis denies the fact that Průmysl 4.0 is just a copy of Industrie 4.0. Thesis acknowledges Průmysl 4.0 as a real, feasible concept. Though, the contribution becomes real only with full deployment of all responsible entities.

The goal of this diploma thesis is, through three performance indicators: Stock Depreciation, Supplier Fill Rate and On Shelves Availability, to analyze stock management at Sephora Czech Republic, propose, implement and evaluate selected methods of improving strategy. Thematically, the thesis is divided into two parts. The first part includes theoretical background, basic concepts related to the stock and its management. The second chapter is a practical part, where the main focus is given to analysis of current state of inventory management, recommendations for improvement, their implementation and evaluation of the results.
Consumer protection and grocery

This bachelor thesis deals with consumer protection and grocery section regulations. It's objective is to evaluate whether grocery stores stick to law while selling food and to analyze attitudes and behavior of consumers. The theoretical part deals with definition of consumer and other related concepts and with obligations of food sellers and consumer rights. The practical part consists of three parts that contain expert commentary, own research performed through grocery stores and survey taken among consumers.

This diploma thesis deals with the optimization of the procurement process at ŠKODA AUTO a.s. Specifically with Forward Sourcing, which is responsible for the nomination of suppliers for new parts of starting projects. Optimization will be done within a benchmark analogical to identical process in Volkswagen AG. The aim is to create proposals for changes and recommendations for an effective functioning of Forward Sourcing. The theoretical part will be defined in terms of process management and procurement within the organization. The practical part focuses on the analysis, comparison and measurement process from which proposals for changes and recommendations will be determined.
Warehouse reengineering in specific wholesale company

This Thesis aims to conduct analysis and reengineering of work methodology and warehouse layout in specific wholesale company. Thesis is divided into phases. In first phase the suitability of existing warehouse is reviewed. There will be evaluated hypothesis that existing warehouse is dimensionally insufficient, with incorrect layout and insufficient intake and expedition area. In second stage, there are created possible variants of reengineering and those are regarding to the conditions of uncertainty analyzed with Monte Carlo method.

The thesis focuses on implementation of logistics provider`s strategy. It is divided in two parts, the first one is considered as a theoretical basement, which is, used in the practical part. The used methods can be characterized as the top strategic tools, which are implemented in tactic and operative level. The thesis tries to find out, which is the right way to profile small logistics provider, to be competitive large enterprises. The product portfolio is analyzed in practical part. Analysis is a medium for setting the processes in the context of strategic objectives.

Given the recommendations by foreign studies the thesis provides suggestions on their application in manufacturing companies taking into account the specific conditions in the four companies.
