Veselý, Daniel ; Opelík, Daniel (advisor) ; Šíma, Jan (referee)
Title: Financing of sports clubs from public resources in statutory city Teplice. Objectives: Main objective of this bachelor thesis is to suggest an improvement in subsidy policy of city Teplice regarding sport. This suggestion is based on research among sports clubs located in the city that draw subsidies from public resources. Methods: Data which the improvement suggestion is based upon were collected by semi-structured interviews with representatives of sports clubs located in Teplice. Semi-structured interviews with representatives of current city government members were also done, so that the current government could provide their point of view on identified problems. Possibilities of the municipality government regarding public funding of sports clubs were also discussed in this interview. Secondary data analysis of various sources regarding public funding of sports clubs was also used as a secondary method in this bachelor thesis. Results: Perception of subsidy policy of statutory city Teplice regarding sport is relatively positive. Clubs are usually happy with the amount of finance they receive. They also highlight easy administration and kind approach of city officials. The biggest problem identified in the research was that the current subsidy setting does not reflect on how financially...
Numerosity in college students of math; event-related potential
VESELÝ, Denis
This bachelor thesis deal with design proposal of description of speed-accuracy tradeoff (SAT) influence, on approximal arithmetic tasks; at college math students. We focuses on description of neural correlates of number processing; measured through brain activity of performance at tasks mentioned above. Second interest of ours, aims for analysis of possible behavioral influence, arises in these tasks. Approximate number system (ANS) is one of theoretical neurocognitive systems, responsible for such processing. And thus, it creates basis for symbolic math understanding. As this, there is strong research interest for investigation of its functions. Nevertheless, it seems like there is just trifling number of works, which are focused on hypothetical SAT influence on collected evidence. Despite the fact, that SAT is rather important phenomenon in cognitive science. It describes individual's tendency, for trading reaction speed for reaction accuracy and vice versa. And so, this work pursue description of ANS and SAT, propose possibilities of testing both phenomena and also tries to illustrate theoretical future of researches of similar character.
Preparation of diketopyrrolopyrrole-based (DPP) polymers for organic electronics
Solanský, Lukáš ; Veselý, Dominik (referee) ; Cigánek, Martin (advisor)
The modern world is burdened by dependence on electricity and problems with its production. A very advantageous way to gain electricity is through photovoltaics. However, the production of silicon solar cells is demanding and expensive with a high impact on the environment. For this reason, there is an effort to switch to solar cells based on organic semiconductors. These include, for example, polymers based on diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP). The theoretical part of this thesis deals with organic electronics, conductive polymers and DPP-based polymers, their properties and applications. It further describes the most common synthetic approaches to DPP-based polymers. The experimental part of this final work describes the preparation of intermediates necessary for the synthesis of the resulting DPP-based polymers using Stille reaction. The thiophene derivative of DPP was N,N'alkylated and subsequently brominated. Furthermore, organotin intermediates were prepared, which together with the dibrominated DPP derivative participate in the polymerization.
Multivariate Financial Time Series
Veselý, Daniel ; Cipra, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kopa, Miloš (referee)
In this work we will describe methods for modeling multivariate financial time series. We will concentrate on both modeling expected value by multi- variate Box-Jenkins processes and primarily on modeling conditional corre- lations and volatility. Our main object will be DCC (Dynamic Conditional Correlation) model, estimation of its parameters and some other general- izations. Then we will programme DCC model in statistical software R and apply on real data. In applications we will concentrate on problem of high dimension of financial time series and on modeling conditional correlations data with outliers.
Synthesis of advanced adamantane containing intermediates based on para-bis (2-thienyl) phenylene. Influence of intramolecular hydrogen bonds on photoisomerization
Veselý, Dominik ; Pospíšilík, Karel (referee) ; Krajčovič, Jozef (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes study and onward synthesis of advanced organic structures with potential application in the field of organic electronics and, in particular, molecular photoswitches. In the theoretical part of the thesis are closely described most commonly used conventional molecular photoswitches with special attention to the influence of the structural modifications on properties and applications of the given derivatives. Next passage is dedicated to study of donor-acceptor systems, as fundamental building blocks for synthesis of advanced derivatives. The possibilities of derivatization with a goal of improving the physicochemical properties of these compounds are also discussed. In the final chapter are proposed modern synthetic methods for preparation of novel materials for organic electronics. This section is connected with an experimental part, where are designed and consequently synthesised 4 novel imine derivatives with dodecyl and adamantyl-ethyl side chain.
Agreements and contracts within copyright law
Veselý, David ; Holcová, Irena (advisor) ; Křesťanová, Veronika (referee)
Contractual copyright law A theme of the diploma thesis is the contractual copyright law. The main purpose of this thesis is to provide an overview of the contractual copyright law, mainly focused on the copyright license agreement. The thesis consists of seven chapters. The first chapter describes sources of the contractual copyright law. It consists of four parts which introduce elemental international sources, European Union law, constitutional regulations and primary and secondary legislation. The second chapter explains basic terms of the copyright law, which are necessary for better comprehension of the contractual copyright law. The third and the fourth chapter are crucial parts of the thesis. The third chapter generally explains licenses and its division to contractual, legal and compulsory licenses. This part is also an introduction for the fourth chapter which is a core of the thesis and deals with the copyright license agreement. In the fourth chapter, license agreement is described from its conclusion to termination (e.g. withdrawal of the agreement or unilateral termination of the agreement). Besides conclusion and termination, this chapter describes parts, purpose, subject and content of the contract. The fourth chapter also analyses obligatory and facultative terms of the license...
Novel organic semiconductors for bioelectronic applications
Veselý, Dominik ; Richtár, Jan (referee) ; Krajčovič, Jozef (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a highly perspective field of bioorganic electronics. It is divided into a theoretical and an experimental part. In the theoretical part of the thesis basic device functioning principles in conjunction with living organisms and production of such devices together with their practical application are elaborated on. In the next part of the thesis conductive polymers as advanced materials for organic electronics, their synthesis, chemical modification and functionalisation, but also their use for functional electronic devices are analysed. A synthetic route for preparation of new functional organic materials by the means of modification of a basic monomer on a molecular level is proposed in the final chapter. This chapter is connected with an experimental part where a basic monomer of the most important conductive polymer for bioelectronic applications is prepared.

Application of multiple-criteria decision analysis to select the optimal B-segment vehicle acquisition variant
VESELÝ, David
Theoretical part of the thesis describes principles of the multiple-criteria decision processes and methods that are considered as a very effective tool for solving more complex decision problem. Theoretical knowledge gained in the first part of thesis are subsequently used in the real case study, which searches for optimal B-segment vehicle according pre-set parameters. The study focuses on selection of a small company vehicle, firstly explores the real offer of B-segment vehicles available on the market in the Czech Republic. Work itself defines the selection criterion then assigns to each criterion appropriate decision weight, eliminates inopportune candidates and applies multiple-criteria decision analysis methods to find optimal acquisition variant. Final decision is concluded based on mix of the results obtained by the most suitable decision-making methods. Described procedure is applicable to both personal and company car or to any other asset acquisition.
