Juřička, Dušan ; Maule, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the introduction to the components of a photovoltaic system and the creation of a specific photovoltaic system installed in a family house located north of Olomouc. The system is designed to meet the requirements of a family of four. Based on simulations and current market prices, the profitability of the entire system is evaluated. The financial return of the project and the possibility of a subsidy from the state are also considered. In addition, the future possibility of purchasing an electric car is included and the potential impact on the flow of energy within the internal power grid is simulated.
Design of a photovoltaic power plant for a family house near Jihlava
Dvořák, Vít ; Maule, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a photovoltaic solar power station for a specific family house in the Jihlava region. The aim of the work was to get acquainted with technologies about the production of solar systems, evaluate the market in the Czech Republic and create a design of photovoltaic solar power station. Three designs of power stations were created with the help of the PV * SOL design system. Each design uses different photovoltaic cell technology. The result of each power station design is a complete finished project, which is based on many factors such as the efficiency of the entire system in a certain location, financial analysis, return on investment and more. In addition, these projects meet the conditions for the preparation of the subsidy program Nová zelená úsporám. At the end of the work, all three designed power stations are evaluated and with the help of multicriteria analysis, the best and most advantageous power station design for the given locality is determined. In the end, the idea of further development of the project is presented.

Effect of environment on the photocatalytic properties of copper oxides
The influence of environmental conditions of the recycling of solar modules
Langer, Filip ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Jandová, Kristýna (advisor)
This thesis is focused on experiments, goal of which is to separate protective glass apart from thin layer solar panel. This could lead to less expensive and more efficient recycling. We try to achieve the separation of the glass by thawing ethylene vinyl acetate layer, which serves as insulant and bonding material. Experiments are concluded in high temperature dryer and high temperature vacuum oven on samples of thin layer solar panel, which is for the purposes of experiments cut into same pieces by water jet cutting machine. The initiatory experiments in dryer and oven are to determine value of ethylene vinyl acetate thaw point in tested samples of panel. The thaw point is determined to be 340 °C. When exposed to this temperature, the ethylene vinyl acetate thaws enough for glass to be able to be extracted with minimal physical strength. The process is accompanied by fire destruction of tedlar layer and creation of exhaust gases. Following experiments in vacuum and nitrogen environment are to test their influence on thawing process. Exposing sample to temperature of 340 °C in vacuum led to no new results. Exposing sample to temperature of 340 °C in nitrogen environment prevented fire and achieved same level of thawing of ethylene vinyl acetate while creating less exhaust gases. Even though the fire was prevented, tedlar layer was still destroyed by the high temperature. Furthermore, particles of evaporated ethylene vinyl acetate condensed on surface of module in form of dust. Following experiments studied absorption of panel and influence of accessible solvents on thawing process. It was determined that panel is able to absorb approximately 2 % of acetone, 0,4 % of isopropyl alcohol and 0,11 % of distilled water in its own weight. Experiments with modules soaked in these solvents proved no new results in thawing process. By observing samples of ethylene vinyl acetate taken from module, thawed out of module after experiment in vacuum oven and dust condensed on surface of module after experiment in nitrogen environment, it was proven that the condensed dust is indeed ethylene vinyl acetate.
Hotel Zubří
Dvořák, Martin ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Smolka, Radim (advisor)
The main subject of my diploma thesis is creating a design documentation for the construction of a hotel. The hotel has its own restaurant and is situated in the northern outskirts of Žďár nad Sázavou. The building is located on a slightly sloping terrain with small green vegetation. The hotel is three-story with partial basement. It is roofed with a pitched roof. The hotel meets the requirements of comfort star (***) in hotel rating. The accommodation capacity is 58 people placed into 13 rooms. Two rooms are designed to be accessible for people with reduced mobility and orientation. The rooms are located on the first and second floor. On the ground floor, there is an entrance hall with reception and toilets for the guests from the restaurant. In the south-western part of the hotel are located staff facilities such as a kitchen facility or a place of supply. The north-western part of the building is designed for the management and support areas. The building is designed to respect local regulations and construction principles. With its architectural design, the building completely fits into the surrounding landscape and does not disturb its character in any way.
Sputtering of thin conductive layers
Sloboda, Alexander ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the issues of thin films, especially thin transparent conductive films, and their deposition on substrate surface. Methods of deposition, their pros and cons, construction of the NP12 sputtering device, fundamentals of a deposition of thin conductive films, using reactive magnetron sputtering, preparation of substrates before deposition and thermal processing of substrates after deposition are issues that are described in this thesis. Instruction manual for magnetron sputtering device NP12 was created. For the purpose of this thesis several samples were prepared by magnetron sputtering device NP12 with different process parameters. These experimentally created samples were evaluated with the help of XRD measurement, to determine the influence of annealing in a vacuum oven on a crystal lattice. Substrates were also analysed by scanning electron microscope to evaluate presence of chemical elements inside the thin films.
