The survey of awarness and attitudes to contraception and planned parenthood among the female students of the secondary medical school and the secondary technical school

This thesis clarifies the term planned parenthood and describes the methods which are included in the above-mentioned term. It outlines different kinds of the contraceptive methods - their positive effects, as well as their contraindications. It also describes who should provide the information about the contraception, suitable ways in which it should be done, and from what sources the information is most frequently gained. The thesis contains the findings of the quantitative research which has been carried out at Secondary Medical School in Žďár nad Sázavou and Secondary Technical School in Žďár nad Sázavou. The main aim of the research was to find out the extent of the knowledge about the contraceptive methods and the attitudes to planned parenthood among the female students of the secondary schools in question.
Education of Breastfeeding mother

The bachelor thesis deals with the broad issue of education of breast-feeding women, whereas the accent is put on the first-rate and unified education of a mother. Theoretical part is concentred to the importance of breast-feeding, principles of correct breast- feeding, composition of breast milk, impediments and solving problems in period of lactation and their prevetion. Part of the theory is education and educational process in nursing. Empiric part is formed by explorational investigation made for attestation of breast-feeding mothers` educational process quality realized by sanitary staff. Examined sample were mothers from the Department of puerperium of The Regional Hospital Rychnov nad Kneznou, Inc. A necessity of standard educational plan resulted from the explorational investigation, which would grant unified informations and sufficient time to the mothers for their questions. For mothers a manual of our education will be made to this educational plan. These educational materials will be helpful for uprating nursery care of mothers and their newborns at our workplace.
The knowledge of preschool children's parents on the first aid in life-threatening conditions

88 The bachelor's thesis deals with the first aid knowledge of parents of preschool children with life-threatening conditions. The theoretical part introduces the concept of first aid, pre-school age and defines its anatomical, physiological and psychomotor differences associated with the development of life-threatening conditions in children at this age. It focuses on the symptoms, course and general first aid in life-threatening conditions and selected the most frequent accident and nonaccident states occurring in this age group. The point of the thesis is the empirical part, which is compiled on the basis of quantitative research survey compiled by the metod of questionary survey. Research sample consists of nonspecialists, parents of preschool children from Hradec Kralove region. The aim of the research survey is to explore the knowledge of parents of preschool children on first aid, their interest in the first aid and willingness in this issue to further training.
Women awareness of breast cancer prevention

This Backelor Thesis cinsiders women awareness of breast cancer prevention. The theoretical part deals with anatomy and physiology of mammary gland, types of breast cancer and their diagnostics and possibilities of treatment. It is engaged in risk faktors and prevention as well. The empirical part is comprised of quantitative questiannaire method, which finds out women interest of their own prevention, awareness of breast selfexamination, mammography screening and risk faktors. Analysis samle is made up of 87 women at the age of 25 to 69.
Nonverbal communications in a general health nurse's profession

The bachelor thesis discusses a communication and it's usage in a medical environment. A part of verbal communication is placed in this assignment, although the aim of the assignment is nonverbal communication. A chapter about the communication by smile is included. At the assignment there is also a chapter which deals with specifics of communication with conscious patients with tracheostomy cannula. The second part of the assignment is based on research examination focused on survey of nurses's knowledge degree in nonverbal communication area and usage of this information in profession. Searched information were controlled by research examination between patients. Both groups of patients were from KARIM and ICU departments of General Faculty Hospital in Prague.
Quality of life of dialysis patients

Purpose of this Bachelor theses is to point out the quality of life of patients in chronic dialysis program. The theoretical part deals with chronic renal failure - causes, risk factors and complications, hemodialysis - the principle, inclusion in the chronic dialysis program and chronic and acute complications, renal transplantation and vascular approaches enabling dialysis. The author then discusses the quality of life as a such and the possibilities of determination of quality of life. The aim of the empirical part was to investigate the quality of life of chronic dialysis patients, their family backgrounds, occupations, leisure activities, their subjective 123 perception of physical condition and emotional state. Quantitative research conducted at the dialysis centre of University Hospital in Prague was used for this purpose.

The aim of the thesis "Boundaries of nurse's psyche between professional role and role of mother and wife" is to map the boundaries of psyche of nurses as women who want and have to cope with the role of mother and wife while working in helping profession with continuous work-cycle. The aim was also to find out how both roles are mutually affected and how it is experienced by nurses. Whether they consider the possibility of planning the program with family to be sufficient, or whether they feel shift work as handicap. The aim of the bachelor thesis deals with nutrition, which may significantly affect our health. The theoretical part highlights the factors that may affect establishment of dietary habits and the specificities of nutrition in your lives. It also describes frequent health problems which can be caused by nutrition and presents nutrition recommendations by general nutrition claims and food pyramids. The focus of the work consists of a quantitative explorary surveywhich compares the approach to good nutrition, eating habits and knowledge of general nurses and lay public. It also challenges some of the younger population (20 - 40 years) and eldery (41 - 60 years). The current sample consists of only women in the age category 20 - 60 years.

Bachelor's thesis talks about relationship of infants nutrition in the first half year of life and incidence of allergies in later life. Theoretical part deal about two main points. First part discuss infants nutrition, especially lactation, breast milk and artificial feeding. Second one is about allergic disease, contains brief overview including diagnosis, prevention and treatment. Research part targets the possibility influence of nutrition in infant age to incidence of children allergies. The Research sample consists of children in age from 1 to 10 years. Children are divided into two groups - without allergy and allergic children. The Results of both groups are compared together. The research data collection was located to Children's Clinic, Faculty Hospital Hradec Králové.
