The analysis of financial resources of preventive social services providers in Liberec region

This thesis aims to answer the question how preventive social service providers, operating in the Liberec region, use the potential of financial resources from private budgets. The reason for this is the non-conceptual system of multi-source financing of social services in the Czech republic and lack of financial resources for social services funding from public budgets. The work is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter is a purely theoretical platform for the whole work. It defines the origin and role of social rights, the welfare state and the European Union in the social policy system of the Czech republic. It deals also with the social services system in the Czech Republic and their planning. The second chapter is devoted to analysis of possible funding sources for financing of social services.The third chapter focuses on stability of social service providers. The last chapter forms the practical part of the work and processes the research survey in given area.
Adaptation to homelessness

(in English): The content of the bachelor thesis is how the current homeless people have adapted to a homelesslife. In thetheoretical part the thesis deals with issues of homelessness in general, forms of homelessness, also the specifics of people without shelter, the adaptation proces for homelessness and organizations dealing with homelessness. The practical part of the thesis deals directly with the adaptive process of living without a home. This part of the thesis is realized by semi-structured interview with persons without shelter and case reports.

(in English) This Master's Thesis is interested in the support of adoptive families in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to define possibilities of this support and stress the need to help people in the process of arranging adoption in the 21st century. The thesis describes the possibilities of supporting adoptive families in the chosen regions of the Czech Republic. Suggestions of different ways of helping and supporting adoptive families from experts are researched. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of four chapters. In the first chapter the term adopting is defined and different forms of this type of foster parenthood are introduced. This chapter also brings an overview of the historical development of adoption. The second chapter is interested in the specifics of adoption in the first 21st century, analyzes the needs of adopting families and stresses the importance of supporting the people involved in the different stages of the adoption process. The third chapter identifies the support of adopting families, and specifies the content, aims and the target group of the thesis. Barriers of multidisciplinary cooperation in residential facilities for the seniors. Retirement homes in Central Bohemian Region

This thesis deals with multidisciplinary cooperation in residential facilities for the elderly (so- called MTD). I'm going to focus on retirement houses. The theoretical part deals with old age, fundamental documents defining social rights and basic values in the care of the elderly. It also deals with cooperation team composition in retirement houses for the elderly, development phases, principles and barriers to the functioning of a multidisciplinary team. In the empirical part I deal with the description of the data collecting and analysing the results of questionnaire survey and interviews. The aim of my thesis is to find out with what barriers of multidisciplinary cooperation retirement houses deals with. In the practical part, I looked for obstacles affecting their functioning and also what would contribute to the creation of a team in a retirement house. Development of social work with clients in low-threshold facilities for childrem and youth in Prague

and keywords Abstract The diploma thesis deals with the development of social work with clients in low-threshold facilities for children and youth in Prague. The diploma thesis contains a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is describing low-thershold facilities for children and youth (further LFCY), streetwork social work with children and youth, the LFCY's target group from the perspective of developmental psychology and also describes work with the clients of LFCY. The practical part is dedicated to the preparation, planning, and implementation of research, analysis, interviews interpretation, the outcomes of research and discussion. The research survey is qualitatively oriented and focuses on identifying changes in social work in LFCY, the target group of LFCY, and seeks to reveal the further development of LFCY. Semistruktured interviews with LFCY social workers in Prague, were used for data collection. The aim of the research is to find out the changes and development of social work with LFCY's clients in Prague during the last five years. The Comparison of the Burgundian and Frank Law in the Early Middle Age.

The goal of this paper is to create a comparison of Frankish and Burgundian law. The author maps basic institutes of germanic law and possible roman influence on both aforementioned legal systems. Social activation services in a retirement home. Differences in the provision of social activation services from a personnel point of view in retirement homes in the territory of the capital city of Prague

(in English): The diploma thesis deals with the differences in the provision of social activation services from the personnel point of view in homes for the elderly. Its aim is to focus on the difference in the personnel implementation of the social activation service of the staff of the retirement home, due to their qualifications and the nature of work in this facility. In my work, I am looking for an answer to the question: "Who should perform social activation services in a retirement home?". In the theoretical part I present the concepts of aging, the theory of aging, old age and related changes in old age, adaptation and preparation. Description of the retirement home, social work in it and then the nature of the work and qualifications of the social worker, the worker in social services and the activating worker in the home for the elderly. The last chapter is activation, in which I deal with the activation program and communication within the activation. I process the practical part with the help of qualitative research in the form of a semi- structured interview. I am looking for an answer to who should perform a social activation service in the retirement home. Migration of elderly people for care

Demographic ageing and the shortage of social care workers in European countries are just some of the reasons that lead elderly people to migrate to foreign countries for care. In the theoretical part is this bachelor thesis concerned with the topic of care for the elderly and its problems from a broader perspective and focuses on the situation in Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany. The thesis goes on by defining the term migrant, migration and by introducing the main migration theories. Afterwards explores the thesis migration of caregivers and the phenomenon of international retirement migration. This phenomenon is divided into more kinds, but the main focus lies on the migration of elderly people for care. At the end of the theoretical part introduces the thesis fundamental human needs in old age. These findings are followed by the empirical part of the thesis, which explores, by using the qualitative method, the experience of German elderly people in old age care facilities in the Czech Republic.

Cooperation of low-threshold facilities for children and youth with institutions of social and legal protection of the child

The master thesis deals with the topic of cooperation between low-threshold facilities for children and youth (NDZM), and the authorities of the social and legal protection of children (OSPOD). To obtain the results, one objective was set: 'To identify the forms of cooperation and non-cooperation of the low-threshold facilities for children and youth with the authorities of the social and legal protection of children.' The theoretical part consists of four chapters that describe general information about the NDZM and OSPOD, the term of at-risk youth, and the possibilities of cooperation between the two above-mentioned entities. The empirical part of the thesis presents the results of structured and semi-structured interviews with NDZM and OSPOD staff from the South Bohemian Region and the capital city of Prague. A total number of 31 workers from the South Bohemian Region (15 NZDM; 16 OSPOD) and 26 workers from Prague (13 NDZM; 13 OSPOD) participated in the interviews. For the final results, the interviews were annotated and analysed with the use of contrast and comparison techniques. The conducted research offers perspectives on cooperation and non-cooperation between the entities through the eyes of NZDM and OSPOD workers from the South Bohemia Region and the capital city of Prague.
