User Interface for Registry Office Transcription
Czernín, David ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Vídeňský, František (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with design process and implementation of user-friendly application for transcription of registry office records. The web application and the suitable user interface were created after close inspection of user interfaces and the process of data transcription. The application enables the user to easily add and search for data in the registry. The result of this work is an application which is functional, intuitive and offers the user a clear layout.
Interactive System for Presentation of Genealogical Data
Kakiš, Dávid ; Vídeňský, František (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The thesis is aimed at the design and the creation of an application in order to provide an alternative for presenting genealogic data. The thesis documents the basic theoretical knowledge about genealogy, user interaction with a computer system and existing software solutions. As a result, a single-page web application was created using Laravel and AngularJS frameworks, including it's own way of storing data in MySQL. In practice, the application output should be able to provide a simple interface for comfortable use and presentation of family trees to a wide group of users
Intention Driven Agent in PROLOG
Němec, Ladislav ; Vídeňský, František (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This lever deals with the realization of the iterpreter of an Driven Agent by the PROLOG implementation. The model was used by Jason implemented in Java that interprets the language of AgentSpeak(L). An interpreter and a program for processing agent systems in the language AgentSpeak (L) were created. This interpreter can work with multiple agents, can implement a system with an environment and use the FRAg system for interpretation. Examples of agent systems in AgentSpeak (L) were proposed to describe the functionality of the interpreter, and subsequently the advantages and disadvantages of the FRAg system were described.
Computer Aided Recognization and Classification of Coat of Arms
Vídeňský, František ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This master thesis describes the design and development of the system for detection and recognition of whole coat of arms as well as each heraldic parts. In the thesis are presented methods of computer vision for segmentation and detection of an object and selected methods that are the most suitable. Most of the heraldic parts are segmented using a convolution neural networks and the rest using active contours. The Histogram of the gradient method was selected for coats of arms detection in an image. For training and functionality verification is used my own data set. The resulting system can serve as an auxiliary tool used in auxiliary sciences of history.
Modelling on Historical Data
Mikan, Martin ; Vídeňský, František (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on design and implementation of a GUI application, which is supposed to present available data from archival materials, assign roles to the mentioned data and generate a certain social model using those data. The first step was analysing already existing applications and available technologies for developping the application. The product of this thesis is a GUI application created for desktop systems which allows selection of a person from a table, assigning roles to these people and generating a family tree or a gender breakdown model using the people mentioned above.
Selection and Proposal of the System for Team Collaboration and Activities Control
Vídeňský, František ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Květoňová, Šárka (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the issues of the project management and desing web application for its support. At first the theory of the project management is explained, the greatest emphasis is given to the Time Management. The next is analysis of existing solutions and of desing my own appliacation. The applicaton has been implemented in the programming language C# with using of ASP.NET MVC platform.
For the purposes of this project, the program in AgentSpeak(L) is first converted to an internal language form. For the demonstration, one of the examples included in the Jason program, specifically "cleaning robors", was used. The interpreter can interpret the system as a FRAg and can react in the enviroment.
Automated Extraction of Information from Emails
Kanda, Rastislav ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Vídeňský, František (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to familiarize oneself with methodology of information extraction from text. On the basis of acquired knowledge, propose a design and implement a system, which should be capable of gathering information from email messages. Proposed system should help Kiwi.com s.r.o. with processing of incoming email messages from travel companies. In current situation it is possible to process those email messages automatically. However, to process those messages automatically, it is necessary to manually create a template suitable for extraction. Possible alteration could be algorithm ROBULA+, which can generate more robust XPath locator from given XPath locator. These locators should be more resistant to changes in the HTML structure. ROBULA+ algorithm is a central point of automated creation of templates suitable for parsing email messages. Implemented system can be qualified with satisfactory successivity (approximately 75%). This means that system is able to find reference to created reservation in three out of four cases.
Multi-Agent and Optimalisation Methods for Stealth Games
Láncoš, Jan ; Vídeňský, František (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the opponents' behaviour in stealth-based video games. It's main focus is the credibility of said behaviour in comparison to the opponents' real life counterparts and the overall immersiveness of the experience. The thesis describes the usage of the A* algorithm for dynamic pathfinding in a two-dimensional space. Furthermore it describes the opponents' patrolling system, their ability to detect the player's presence and also their ability to cooperate and communicate while trying to chase the player down. One playable level demonstrating the described behaviour has also been created as part of this thesis using the C++ language. The thesis can be used as an inspiration for anyone interested in making their own intelligent systems for computer games of a similar type.
