Options for the Determination of the Influence of Electronic Stabilization Systems of the Chassis on the Driving Dynamics of a Vehicle
Bilík, Martin ; Vémola, Aleš (referee) ; Panáček, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of determining the influence of electronic stability systems on the chassis of the vehicle driving dynamics. In the introductory section is made theoretical analysis of road vehicle dynamics. Further description is made of some stabilization systems and situations and how to solve them by using these systems. Chapter 6.2.1 describes the methodology of practical experiment, which can determine influence of the stability system of the vehicle chassis on driving dynamics. The next chapter describes an experiment conducted and interpreted the measured values. The penultimate chapter is a simulation of this experiment using simulation software Virtual Crash. The last chapter is an evaluation of the experiment and compares the results with simulation programs using the same input conditions. The conclusion summarizes the results of this work.
Impact of Chosen Chassis Electronic Systems on Driving Dynamics of a Vehicle
Schejbal, Jan ; Hlávka, Stanislav (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with the impact of selected electronic chassis systems of modern vehicles, their driving dynamics. The general aim of this work is to create the basic methodology for assessing casualties of the influence of these systems. The thesis is describing functions and effects antilock and stability systems on vehicle dynamics. Below are possible methods and systems for determining the influence on accident plot. As part of the study was performed measuring the impact of anti-lock system on the vehicle. The result of this work is the basic methodology to the analysis of road accidents involving vehicles with electronic chassis systems.
Running and Maintenance of Vehicles with Supercharged Engine
Vertaľ, Peter ; Krejčíř, Pavel (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
The goal is to measure the temperature of the turbocharger after engine shutdown.Measurements wants to show the need to keep a car engine to cool after a heavier burden on the idle speed. It would also prevent possible disruptions turbocharger. The paper also deals with the problems, construction and basic principles of operation of the turbocharger
Analysis of Documentation of Real Damage to Vehicles in Road Accidents
Novotný, Václav ; Kovanda,, Jan (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a comprehensive analysis of the photographic documentation of vehicle damage in traffic accidents. A systematic overview of the current documentation and included inspection is carried out in the analysis. Police records are compared with records made during the crash tests. Further, the documentation in this thesis is divided into two groups of conflicts. The representative of the accidents are described in detail and then evaluated. Similarly, this procedure is practiced on other car accident that reflect the mutual deformation. The result of this thesis is to determine the optimal location of the lens for the acquisition of documentation and establishing a baseline number of photos to document damage to the vehicle after the traffic accident.
Measuring and Comparing Driving Parameters of Vehicles in Various Driving Regimes
Cholasta, Lukáš ; Krejčíř, Pavel (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
n this work is processed a summary of selected driving parameters of vehicles, methods of measuring and use in the automotive industry or related branch especially. This work is focused on driving tests of vehicles and measurement driving parameters of vehicles. As part of this work was done measurements parameters of vehicles driving in various driving regimes and subsequent analyse of obtained data. The result of this work is determination methodology division driving regimes and evaluation the impact of driving regimes on to ride a car in a directional curve.
Impact of the Instantaneous Weight of Vehicles on their Stopping Distance
Motl, Jakub ; Ptáček,, Petr (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is engaged in analysis of braking process of vehicles, especially heavy utility vehicles, with regard to their instantaneous weight. This thesis features survey and division of braking systems and function of brakes including schemes and descriptions. Also there is introduce of some systems improving vehicle properties. Furthermore this work puts mind to possibilities of examination of brakes, measurement of braking distance and braking retardation namely in brake test rooms or by outdoor driving tests including descriptions of particular methods and equipment. There is also mention about legislative requirements for braking distance and braking retardation. The conclusion of this thesis compares numerically predicted braking distance and real braking distance measured for factual vehicle during outdoor driving test
Technical Interpretation of Chosen Terms from Traffic Regulations
Krychtálek, Zdeněk ; Radimský, Michal (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current situation and prepare a technical interpretation of selected basic concepts of traffic rules to increase legal certainty and the road needs to bring to engineering practice. These are the concepts of safe distance, perspective, suddenly and unsuddenly. The diploma work is dealt with on a technical interpretation of selected terms of traffic rules, which are important for safety.
Global status report on road safety
Khatib, Nabhan ; Vémola, Aleš
Traffic accident statistics received considerable attention in order to be used to improve the traffic safety for reducing traffic accidents or at least decreasing their risks. Numerous traffic statistical researches have been published in order to clarify the traffic accidents reasons and providing their real rates. This paper illustrates global status of road safety.
Strain and stress analysis of the car front part under impact loading.
Hrubý, Jaroslav ; Vémola, Aleš (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with the stress and strain analysis of the car front part of Škoda Octavia II. generation under impact loading using an explicit formulation of finite element method (FEM). The aim of this work is examination of resistance of the car front part under this impact loading and comparison of the data, which were get out of the FEM simulation of the car impact on the rigid wall with methods, which are used in forensic engineering. The comparison of the FEM simulation of the car impact on the rigid wall will be provided with the correlation method and with the method of energetic grid.
Traffic accident as consequence of human factor lapse
Mazánková, Martina ; Vémola, Aleš
The traffic accidents can originate in the consequence of the human failure, because of the technical failure or the poor technical state of the vehicle, the fault of bad state of the environment, in witch the driver moves or in the consequence of the combination of the above mentioned factor. A serious car accident as a result of a human failure will be presented in the article. The important parameters of roads and their equipment that could influence the origin of the car accident in the spot of the car accident were checked. Technical faults of vehicles were not found and were not enforced. The example of the car accident is one of those documenting the need of the educational action to the driver.
