Occurrence of aflatoxin M1 in raw milk
UHLÍKOVÁ, Tereza
Mycotoxins, as secondary products of fungi, can contaminate feeds and enter the milk through the metabolic pathway in the cow's body. The most studied mycotoxin associated with milk contamination is aflatoxin M1 (AFM1). The review focuses on the identification of different types of mycotoxins and their transfer to milk, and attention is paid to a summary of the results of monitoring aflatoxins in milk and the negative effects of mycotoxins on health and the possibility of mycotoxins determination. The practical part of the thesis consists of two subchapters, namely monitoring AFM1 in raw milk of cows, sheep and goats in the years 2006-2020 from the data of the State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic, where the factor of the observed period and type of milk was evaluated for AFM1 content in raw milk. The second part interprets the results of AFM1 monitoring in purchased raw cow's milk delivered to the dairy factory.
In the Name of Socialism, in the Shadow of the Monarchy: Post-War Monument Care in Central Europe
Bachtík, Jakub ; Johanidesová, Tereza ; Uhlíková, Tereza ; Giustino, Cathleen ; Sklenář, Michal ; Novotný, Michal ; Mahringer, Paul ; Lövai, Pál ; Spikić, Marko ; Janatková, Alena ; Meulen, Marcus ; Horáček, Martin ; Gaži, Martin ; Furkert, Alf ; Kovařík, David ; Radostová, Šárka
The collection of studies on the history of post-war monument care is based on the international conference Monuments and monument care in Czechoslovakia and other Central European countries during the second half of the 20th century, which took place in the spring of 2021. Selected contributions by authors from the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Croatia or Hungary map the institutional development of monument care in the countries of the former Habsburg Monarchy, a significant part of which was located on the eastern side of the Iron Curtain. The book thus offers not only a valuable comparison of the various systems of monument care within Central Europe, but also unusual material on the history of post-war European totalitarianism.

Severe lightning activity over the Czech republic
Uhlíková, Tereza ; Novák, Petr (advisor) ; Kyznarová, Hana (referee)
This work comprises an introduction to study of lightning and presents data about daily amount of lightning flashes over the Czech Republic (CR) in period 2002-2012. For selected days in this period, there are introduced and examined some meteorological characteristics. There are presented an evolution of lightning discharges and contemporary options for lightning detection which contain ground-based systems and satellites systems. Main advantage of ground-based systems are location accuracy <1 km and additional information which could be provided about every single stroke which is e. g. polarity or peak current. The benefit of satellite lightning detection is the large covera- ge which is useful for a global view of lightning activity on the Earth. After that, the general climatology of lightning in the world is introduced. The land-ocean contrast in lightning activity is presented (lightning activity over land is up to two orders higher than over the ocean). There is also information about maximum amount of flashes over equatorial Africa. The hypothesis explaining the land-ocean contrast in lightning activity and African maximum are included. Climatological charakteristics of lightning in selec- ted European countries are mentioned in the last section. In analytical part of the work, single years...
Chemical contaminants in milk
UHLÍKOVÁ, Tereza
The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of contaminants in milk, such as pesticides, veterinary drugs, heavy metals, mycotoxins and their influence on milk quality. These substances present in milk have a negative impact on consumers health and for dairy cows health. The presence of contaminants in milk should therefore be monitored mainly to ensure the safe of the milk. An important group in terms of milk contamination are veterinary drugs. Their residues have a negative impact for milk processing and consumer health, but can also contribute to an increase in antimicrobial resistance. However, over-limit findings of veterinary drug residues in the Czech Republic have been on a low level in recent years. Special attention has been paid to milk contamination with mycotoxins because this problem is currently a very topical and discussed topic. Most of the work is focused on the contamination of milk with aflatoxin M1, which is the most explored milk-related mycotoxin.
Convective storms development in remote sensing data

Title: Convective storms development in remote sensing data Author: Tereza Uhlíková Department: Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology Supervisor: RNDr. Petr Novák, Ph. D. Supervisor's e-mail: petr.novak@chmi.cz Systems of remote sensing and computing technologies are nowadays at such a developed level, they are providing tools for identifying and tracking convective storms as well as for measuring their parameters. In this study, the nowcasting algorithm CELLTRACK is used to identify convective cells as a high reflectivity cores (≥44 dBZ) in the radar data (CZRAD). CELLTRACK is also used to obtain parameters of these cells from radar data and lightning detection data (CELDN) over the territory of Czech Republic. Six single isolated cells and six cells producing severe convective phenomena were selected from the years 2010 - 2014. The development of selected parameters during the life cycle of convective cells in both groups is demonstrated and threshold values of these parameters, that can potentially help to identify severe convective cells, are proposed. key words: convective cell, severe convective storm, remote sensing of convective storms, nowcasting, CELLTRACK, CZRAD, CELDN

A Book on its way from Manuscript to the Reader
UHLÍKOVÁ, Tereza
This thesis deals with the phenomenon of the book as crucial means of communication of the author (of the artistic and non-artistic) text with the reader. The material object book is examined in detail as a product, goods and object of the aesthetic interest. The work focuses primarily on the following questions: What is happening with the text from the moment of the manuscript submission to the publisher until the moment when is held in reader's hands for the first time? What subjects, institutions or interests are entering (or may enter) the game during the production, distribution and sale of the book and what is their particular role? What is the form and function of graphical and peritextual components of the book? All questions are answered in regard to the current state of Czech literary culture.
Emotion as a Part of the Aesthetic Experience
UHLÍKOVÁ, Tereza
The bachelor thesis aims to explore possible answers to questions concerning the issue of emotions in the art. A part of the thesis is an elaboration on the fundamental definition features of the terms aesthetic emotion and psychical (or aesthetics) distance. The issue is seen in terms of both philosophical and aesthetics theories of the twentieth century, and in light of human experience. Moreover, as a part of the thesis, there is a sample of authentic confessions about emotional stability or instability within and as a result of the experience with works of art.
