Managing and Evidence School Environment
Bukovský, Karel ; Vaňková, Petra (advisor) ; Tocháček, Daniel (referee)
The present bachelor thesis focuses on the sphere of utilization of school information systems for registration and record keeping, education and management activities of the school. It has been prepared on the basis of an analysis of legal regulations and a research of software environments used for support of the registration and record keeping, education and management activities performed by schools. The research part of the thesis analyses school information systems used by elementary and high schools in the Czech Republic. The thesis contains a complex overview of legal regulations applicable to registration and record keeping activities of schools and describes functions of the individual school information systems. It also compares possibilities for using such systems for registration and record keeping, education and management activities of the school. In the final part of the thesis, having performed a criteria analysis, I have suggested possibilities for suitable solutions depending on the type of the school, its size and the degree of education offered, with respect to efficient use of information and communication technology for school management, administration and operation. How pupils use digital technology when doing school homework
Jaroš, Aleš ; Černochová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Tocháček, Daniel (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the role of the digital technologies in the homework preparation of the pupils, how do they use the digital technologies and whether they use it for the learning at all. This thesis evaluates also if the pupils can use the digital technologies for learning and in which way they use them, what is their vision of learning, what pluses and minuses in the digital technology usage see the pupils from the sixth to ninth grade. How do the parents encourage their children to use these technologies for the homework. The theoretical section focuses on the role and possibilities of using digital technologies in education, especially in homework preparation. It defines a pupil's digital competence and the characteristics of the network generation. The practical section includes the conclusion of 3 questionnaire surveys. The first of which the author did among 127 pupils of the 2nd grade of an unnamed elementary school in the Ústí region. Its aim was to find out whether and how pupils use digital technologies in their home preparation for school and whether these technologies simplify the learning process for them. The second questionnaire was completed by parents of pupils of the 2nd grade. The aim of this questionnaire survey was to find out how parents support...
Use of the educational robotics kits in education at primary and secondary schools
Tocháček, Daniel
The aim of the final work is to describe implementation of educational technology in to the teaching process. It focuses on the use of specific teaching resources - educational robotics kits - for teaching at primary and secondary schools. The final work is aimed at two parts - on the theoretical level, when dealing with areas of robotics, educational robotics, constructionism and constructivism and at the practical level through the detailed characteristics of available resources and methods of use of educational robotics kits in education. Both views on the issue reflects formal arrangement of final work on theoretical and practical (empirical) part. Theoretical part is mainly based on information sources and primary and secondary resources, which were subjected to detailed analysis. The practical (empirical) part is based on the author's educational activities - undertaken work with specific material instruments used in the context of continuously held educational robotics projects and courses, as well as the application of empirical qualitative methods, including experimental model of teaching and longer-term verification methodologies and teaching strategies used in the field of educational robotics.
