Children's understanding of social stratification on secondary school

The thesis is focused on research for children's understanding of social stratification on secondary school. The aim is the diagnoses of children's understanding on the topic of social stratification - finding the reflection of class inequalities, interpretation of the causes of social stratification, own evaluation of the society and ideas of social mobility. In the first part was defined the theoretical base of the thesis - the concept of social stratification and basic scientific theories of social stratification, constructivism, children's understanding of the world. Also were presented foreign and home research for understanding of social stratification. In the second part were defined methodological basis of the thesis and were presented the results of a qualitative research for children's understanding using the method of the depth semi-structured interview. The research results suggested that students understand the topic of social stratification and reflect it in a different way. Cultural and craft traditions among contemporary inhabitants of Šumava

This bachelor thesis deals with cultural and craft traditions of Šumava. The main objective is to describe the traditions and crafts of this region today. In addition, also historical changes and cohesion with the Šumava region is captured. The thesis is divided in four chapters: Šumava, Crafts of Šumava, Šumava's traditions, and Traditions and Crafts at School. It also describes cooperation between the Museum of Šumava in Sušice and local elementary school and examines introduction of traditions to children during after-school activities. In all chapters, the basic concepts concerning this topic are determined.

Key words: insurance, pension insurance, pension company Annotation: The thesis describes insurance products focusing on the pension insurance. The first part deals with the term insurance and describes its various types. The other parts concentrate specifically on the pension insurance of Czech Republic. The thesis presents information about these products from the time of their implementation until present with main focus on the second and third pension pillars. It gives a thorough description of these two pillars supported with up-to-date information and the analysis of their possible future developments. The end of the thesis summarizes and evaluates the most important facts and data acquired from the survey on the use of these insurance products.

Questions of Economics Understanding of Primary School Students

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the economic thinking of third grade students in primary school. On the basis of identified deficiencies, a set of ideas leading to more effective teaching is proposed. The theoretical section includes an examination of the state of economic thinking in primary school pupils in the Czech Republic and abroad. This explains the present form of financial education in the Czech Republic, and examines children's understanding, particularly in relation to constructivism. The practical section describes the preparation and implementation of qualitative research in the form of semi-structured individual interviews with pupils in their 3rd year, and 1st grade of primary school. In the conclusion, a set of ideas aimed to develop the financial thought processes of younger school students, supplement their knowledge, and strengthen their overall economic thinking, is proposed.

Socially economic status of teachers in Czech republic

Thesis deals with the curent social-economic status of teachers in Czech Republic, is aimed primary at teachers of primary schools. First defined the koncept of teachers, followed by characterization of the teaching proffesion. Further work presents indicators needed to assess social-economic status of teachers. The work includes a survey among teachers elementary school teachers from Central Region and Prague. Goal is to determine how the company evaluates the current social- economic status of teachers in the Czech Republic, but also how it evaluates teachers themselves. Banks and their role in the economy of the Czech Republic

The subject of this diploma thesis is the characteristic of banks and its role in the economy of the Czech Republic, the introduction of core bank activities and products as well as analysis of significant bank products, such as building savings. The first part presents the functioning of bank system, the central bank and commercial banks. The second part deals with the principles of building savings, development and evaluation of the most important changes in building savings in the Czech Republic. In this thesis is also comparison of the building saving in Germany, Austria and the Slovak Republic, and there is outlined potential future development of building savings in the Czech Republic. The conclusion summarizes the most important findings about the role of banks with special focus on the analysis of building savings.

Financing primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic

The theme of this thesis is the financing of the elementary and the secondary schools in the Czech Republic. I introduce the process of the educational system's financing as an integrated unit, that is consists of revenue and expenditure. This process is determinated not only by the educational system in the Czech Republic, but also by the public service and the local administrative, that managed schools and the other educational organizations. I focused on the development of the financing of schools in years 2001 - 2009, with the help of graphes, to show and describe also the today's face of the whole process. I use the international comparison. In the end of this thesis I mentioned the basic problems of this financing.

Position of women on the labour market in the Czech Republic

An employment is an important part of everybody's life. This fact is proved by particular researches dealing with men and women attitudes to jobs. On the other hand men and women do not have the same labour conditions. In a society in which gender inequalities based on gender stereotypes are still prevailing, there are created barriers for women in the process of finding employment. These inequalities have an impact on the gender structure of a labour market in a labour use when one gender dominates over the second one within a profession. The inequalities are caused by the gender structure of educational system since women and men are divided into different subjects of studies. The consequences of this gender segregation of a labour market are connected with differences in men and women salary conditions. Women earn less money than men, considering the average payments across the whole labour market.
