The influence of multicultural parenting on the child's language development - Czech v Croatian

This work deals with the role of multicultural influences on a child's language development. The primary goal of this thesis is to assess how much influence multiculturalism has on a child's development, not only in the process of language acquisition, but in general in the personal development and self-identification of a bilingual individual that interacts with the majority of society. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The introductory chapters of the theoretical part explain the related terminology and the most common terms related to the main topic of the work. The following chapters describe and explain the history of the development of Croat - Czech relations and the situation of national minorities in the territory of both states. The theoretical part concludes with chapters on the definition of the theoretical basis of the language, including the necessary excursion into the issues between the process of simultaneous acquisition of multiple languages and the integration of bilingual individuals into society. Crime as one of the socio-pathologies in the city

The study "Crime as one of the socio-pathologies in the city - preventive actions on the local level, social aspects of local security and safety, and the architectural and urban context" - focuses on the occurrence of crime in the city and ways of crime prevention. Crime has become a standard characteristic of the city life, which has in turn created the need to find ways of how to reduce and prevent it. The goal of this study is to describe the crime phenomenon in general, as well as in the city environment, present crime prevention as a way of handling crime, and to show how a concrete city - Prague - deals with this problem. It discusses how crime prevention is organized and who participates in the preventive actions, what the positive, as well as negative, points of the organizations are, what needs for changes exist, and what is involved with achieving them. The study is an overview of the problem of urban crime, based on theoretical materials, former statistics and analyses, and as well on an interview with a coordinator of crime prevention at the city level in Prague. The aim of the document is to prepare a complete business plan for a new company tending to enter the out-of-home advertising market within the Czech Republic. Secondary aims are to check the feasibility and rentability of the project, to support the decision about starting or declining such project. The document analyses the relevant market, describes business opportunity including legal background, gives estimates on the market potential and specifies a detailed operating plan. Finally it analyses main risks and assemblies all used assumptions into the financial statements, including profitability evaluation.

Concept Corporate Social Responsibility, its preception and support

Diploma thesis deals with the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility - CSR. The chosen topic is currently up-to-date. Many companies begin to be interested in the ideas of this concept. Especially in recent years there can be seen activities and projects in this area. In the theoretical part of the work are captured substantive interpretations of the concept, there are also documented in the state of CSR -- both in the EU and more specifically in the Czech Republic. In the next part, thesis briefly introduces selected studies that are concerned with the topic. Practical part of the thesis is based on analysis of data of the agency Median and seeks to analyze of the perception of ideas, the concept of CSR is. Add to knowledge of the attitude of Czech society to the responsible conduct of companies.
