Geology of Golden mountains

This bachelor work is summary of the available geology and mineralogy information on geology and mineralogy of Golden mountains area. Rychleby Mountains are situated in the north of Moravia and Silesia. The mountain belongs to the Lusatian (lugikum) and the Silesian region (moravosilesikum) from the regional geological division of the Bohemian Massif. There isn't uniform view at a more detailed breakdown of the studied area (see e. g. Pouba 1962; Kachlík 2003). However representation of rocks of different age and character in all sub-units Golden Mountains are very varied. Highly metamorphosed rocks of Proterozoic age are among the most common rocks of this area. Dating all the rocks in whole region is problematic due to the high degree of metamorphism and the absence of fossils. From the mineralogical point of view is best explored Silesian part of Golden Mountains with the remains of a large number of mines and quarries in the crystalline limestone, deposits of iron ore, graphite and uranium.

The educational trails CHKO Jeseníky and their use in pedagogical practice

This master thesis tries to give the teachers and the students, who are interested in Hruby Jesenik, the information to support their pursuit for the knowledge. It has tendency to expand their knowledge about nature conservation and the attractions, which are situated in their neighborhoods and their region. It summarizes not only theoretic information about CHKO Jeseniky, but also three concrete, educational trails - NS Velka kotlina, NS Ramzova - Cervenohorske sedio and NS Sobotin. The theoretic part is divided by two chapters. The first chapter describes the scenery o f Hruby Jesenik. It is general and includes the available, current information. The didactic summary is in the second chapter. This pedagogical - didactical part comes from primary and high school's RVP. The practical part is an appendix, which leads the schoolmen and group of the students, but not only them, on the educational trails. The appendixes, for the individual trails, include the job sheets for the possible elaborations.

Environmental Education at primary schools

The proposed doctoral thesis has been created with the aim to create a new modern concept of Environmental Education at primary schools, a concept that would reflect the changing conditions at schools and react to the changes in the behavioural patterns of the pupils (see Att 1/7). Czech Environmental Education bears all the signs of a "good programme": it has tradition, teachers, gurus, international contacts, a history, and a future (Činčera, 2007). A scientific thesis however cannot be content with (mostly) intuitive theories the way Czech Environmental Education has been. For the newly emerging Environmental Education field, there is the natural tendency to revise and scientifically suppport all of the generally accepted truths, to verify the methodology, conduct evaluation and self-evaluation, and sometimes to try to discover the undiscovered. The proposed doctoral thesis aims at revising, discovering and innovating the research fields of Environmental Education at primary schools. As a scientific basis, Grounded Theory was used (Strauss, Corbin, 1998). Quantitative validation was used (triangulation - see Denzin, 1989). The research project was conducted in five closely connected phases.

Příbram and its Surrounding Areas as a Goal for Geological Hikes

The title of my graduation thesis is Příbram as a destination of geologie walks. Altogether, it surveys five geologically interesting areas. It's main contribution is that it can be used as a material of which work projects for students can be made. The purpose of these work projects is to activate the students who take geologic excursions. Further, my thesis contains a manual for teachers. This manual is concerned with specific areas and it consits of both teoretical and practical information. Průvodce středoškolskou biologií aneb jak se důkladně připravit k přijímacím zkouškám na VŠ

Pedagogické činnosti se věnuji již pět let. Začínala jsem na Základní škole Letohradská výukou dyslektických tříd a pak jsem přešla na Gymnázium a Sportovní gymnázium Nad v > Štolou. V průběhu celého svého působení ve školství jsem využívala pracovních listů jako podporu výkladu a ověřování jednotlivých bodů probrané látky. Svou diplomovou práci jsem zaměřila na vypracování souboru laboratorních prací z přírodopisu pro základní školy a ověřovala, budou - li přínosem pro pochopení probírané látky. Hypotéza mé diplomové práce zněla: "Promyšlené vypracování souboru alternativních úloh a jejich důsledné uplatňování ve výuce zkvalitní a zefektivní výsledky pedagogické práce učitele." Tato hypotéza se potvrdila, jak u tříd běžného typu, tak tříd dyslektických. Výzkumná část byla totiž zaměřena na využití souboru laboratorních úloh v obou typech tříd. A Multimedia Atlas of Cuticular Recent Seeding Plants

Jako téma své diplomové práce jsem si zvolila zpracování kutikul vybraných recentních semenných rostlin. S touto problematikou jsem se poprvé seznámila ve druhém ročníku pedagogické fakulty na odborném semináři vedeným doktorem Teodoridisem. Jelikož mě toto téma zaujalo, rozhodla jsem se jej zpracovat do diplomové práce s důrazem kladeným na multimediální atlas kutikul recentních semenných rostlin. Kutikulární analýza je velmi specifické téma, proto i využití mé práce je doplňkovým materiálem pro studenty biologie na pedagogické fakultě nebo pro studenty středních škol, jako rozšiřující informativní učivo. Tato práce navazuje na diplomové práce kolegů Mgr. Jindřicha Částky a Mgr. Pavla Vávry, kteří zpracovali využití makro a mikrofotografie ve výuce anatomie a morfologie rostlin ve svých diplomových pracích z roku 2003 (Částka 2003, Vávra 2003). Celá práce je členěná do dvou částí. První část je teoretická a zabývá se vlastní metodou kutikulární analýzy, historií vzniku, typy metod kutikulární analýzy, dále anatomickou stavbou listu a popisem postupu preparační techniky kutikulární analýzy. Druhá část se zabývá systematikou a vlastním popisem jednotlivých kutikul. Tato práce je prvním pokusem o vytvoření atlasu kutikul recentních semenných rostlin, proto byla také podpořena grantem č. 3239/2004-IV.-GAUK....

Indoor Environmental Education - educational methods realized within anon-formal education of an NGO called Civic Inspiration

Environmental education indoors - system of work with children implemented within the framevork of a leisure club organized in a civil association Občanská inspirace The introduced Mgr. thesis is focused on the methods of children s education that can be applied within environmental education in the environment of a city. There is lack of access to the nature in cities, especially in housing estates. Besides there is a rising demand for environmental education of children who grow up without natural approach to the nature in general. The starting point of this thesis is the question of possibilities^that are available for pedagogues dealing with environmental education in children's leisure time in big cities. The thesis draws on three different branches: pedagogy of leisure time, environmental education,system of work with children. Each branch gives important foundation for organizing a leisure club dedicated on environmental education.
