Expenditures from the budget of the capital city of Prague

Summary: Expenses of the Budget of City of Prague This thesis discusses the aspects of expenses of the budget of City of Prague as the municipality. At the beginning of the thesis there is a general description of the process of creation of the budget of City of Prague focusing on both, the rules of creation defined by law as well as the internal procedures defined by the municipality itself. The described process of the creation of the budget is then followed by the characterization of procedures of approval of the budget and finally there is a specification of the evaluation process and the approval procedure of the Prague financial statement. The thesis further focuses on the sources of the budget, i.e. the income of the budget. The income structure of budget is constituted by tax income, local fees, subsidies, and by capital income from the sale of the property in the ownership of City of Prague. The tax income creates 70 % of the total income of City of Prague, of which the most significant is the VAT income. Major issue of this thesis is the expenses of the budget of City of Prague. The thesis distinguishes the expenses into two main categories. Current expenses form the first one, the second one is formed by capital expenditures. An Analysis of Changes in Tax Law Due to the Civil Code Reform

The thesis deals with the variations in the law on income tax and the taxation of real estate. The aim is to analyze and describe changes in the legislation Law on Income Tax and the Tax Law from the acquisition of immovable property . The partial aim is to calculate the taxes relating to that legislation, and thus application of practical examples and comparing the results of tax liability with previous tax legislation.

The goal of this master´s thesis: Audit from the Perspective of a Company” is to identify discretions and duties of a company based on the obligation to verify financial statement by the auditor. Among fundamental duties of the company belongs obligation to provide all important information for the financial statement. That´s the reason, why I chose to summarize necessary law, accounting and tax documents as a partial target of this thesis.

The diploma thesis is written on the topic of Russia: macroeconomics and position at the international tourism market. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of tourism, describes the basic macroeconomics indicators and define the position of tourism in the global economy. The second part deals with the development of the economy of the Russian Federation from its very begining up to the present. The third part discusses the Russian Federation in the terms of tourism, international income and arrivals. The last part analyzes tourism between the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation. For this part of diploma thesis has been prepared two questionnaires among residents of the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation.

Working capital management in the company Siemens, s.r.o. as an effective instrument of increase in business value

The objective and main aim of this Master´s Thesis is to analyze the working capital and its management in the company Siemens, s.r.o. as a member of concern Siemens and eventually to propose the appropriate arrangements to improve the procedures and reduce the shortcomings detected. Financial statements and annual reports are to be subject to horizontal and vertical analyses, as well as financial ratios. Furthermore, each separate component within the working capital will be reviewed; receivables, inventories, cash and current liabilities. In conclusion, the results of analyses will be explicated a possible influence on company´s or concern´s performance revealed.

Impact of economic development in 2005-2012 on the status disadvantaged groups on czech labour market

The paper examines the status of selected disadvantaged groups in the Czech labour market in 2005-2012. The main goal of this paper is to test the hypothesis that these disadvantaged groups respond to changes in Czech GDP more sensitive than the general unemployment rate. This thesis describes the development of general unemployment rate and selected disadvantaged groups in studied period. The main hypothesis is verified using regression analysis performed on the time series. Empirical investigation, realized in this work, confirm this hypothesis in a group of graduates and persons at age 15-24. For persons with disabilities and persons at age 50-74 failed to confirm the hypothesis.

The aim of the thesis is the evaluation of the opportunity of a small Czech brewery to enter the market in the United Kingdom. To analyze the environment and the situation in the United Kingdom is used 4C method, which is aimed to explore the UK market in terms of national characteristics, customers, competitors and costs. After that on the basis of this analysis to evaluate, or recommend a brewery expansion into the UK market.
