Joan of Arc, birth of a myth and the Johannine revival

The subject of this diploma thesis is the French national heroine Joan of Arc and her portrayal and reflection in literary works throughout the centuries. The diploma thesis mentions the historical personality of Joan of Arc in the context of the time she lived in, reconstructs the life of this French saint and deals with the rehabilitation process that completes the myth of the French national heroine. This diploma thesis summarizes the important European literary works that Joan of Arc is the most important theme. The diploma thesis deals more with literary works in which Joan of Arc is the main character but each author writes her story and describes her personality from a different point of view. And precisely these differences of the thesis are analyzed. The diploma thesis focuses more on the literary works of various authors such as Voltaire, Jules Michelet, Anatole France and Stéphen Coubé. The diploma thesis deals also with the portrayal of Joan of Arc in the 20th and 21st centuries.

Child abuse and neglect as a risk factor for the development of addiction

Child abuse & neglect we consider as a risk factor of addiction development. The use of addictive substances belongs to a strategy to deal with difficult life situations and many studies confirm that those people who was abused in childhood show more frequent use of drugs. The aim of Bachelor thesis is to outline the relationship between child abuse & neglect and development of addiction and describe less known forms of child abuse & neglect. The other goal includes finding out subjectively perceived relationship between child abuse & neglect and developmental addiction with a certain factor abuse pattern in the context of childhood harm. The following research questions were formulated in connection with the research. What forms of child abuse & neglect did clients encounter? What is the role of substance abuse in relation to child abuse & neglect? The research was conducted through a case study of three clients of the therapeutic community who experienced various forms of child abuse & neglect. The result of the work is to determine that all of the clients perceive the connection. Drug usage has helped them to join their collective peers, forget about unpleasant experiences and increase self-esteem. Peculiarities of child interrogation

IV. Summary This thesis deals with legal elements of a child interrogation and psychological elements of this interrogation as well. This thesis deals both legal and psychological elements and, at the same time, a comprehension of their interconnection. Introduction part is focused on general, historically embedded child protection and personal experience over several years in working with children. At the same time, the development of methods of education is mentioned, which is connected, among other things, with the liberalization of society. The first chapter of the text is devoted to the personality of the child and their legal status from the historical point of view, as well as the developmental periodization, which is according to Vaclav Příhoda divided into 7 periods. In more detail, is presented the first and second childhood period, puberty and adolescence periods are analyzed as well. This chapter also focuses on the factors that influence youth. These factors include family and related heredity, school facilities, and other child groups. The main theme of chapter two is to outline the basic features of interrogation according to current criminological theory. Rozvoj koncepcie multiindustriálnej siete v procese spolutvorby hodnoty

Keďže hodnotový reťazec vo väčšine odvetví prešiel rekonfiguráciou, firmy museli spolupracovať a aktívne sa zapájali do konkrétnej strategickej siete. Jednoduchý lineárny hodnotový reťazec pomaly stráca svoje uplatnenie kvôli neustále sa zvyšujúcemu počtu subjektov patriacich do hodnotového reťazca a vzťahom v ňom pôsobiacich. V súvislosti s jeho transformáciou do hodnotovej siete však neexistuje dostatočné množstvo výskumu zameraného na rôzne odvetvia a ich porovnanie či zjednotenie všeobecne platiacich podienok medzi jednotlivým subjektami. Hodnotenie pridanej hodnoty a najmä projektov budúcich hodnôt je problematické, pretože realizácia hodnoty závisí na rozvoji viacerých partnerov, technológií a odvetví. Tento článo pracuje s pojmom hranica temnoty, ktorá približuje kam až v hodnotovom reťazci siaha pohľad koncového spotrebiteľa a udáva, ktoré subjekty a ich vlastnosti ho ovplyvňujú pri spolutvorbe hodnoty. Rozvojom nového konceptu vzniká miltiindustriálna hodnotová sieť prepájajúca trhy B2B a B2C. Cieľom článku je posíliť rešerš v danej oblasti, na základe ktorej bude v ďalšom výskume možné identifikovať nové princípy pri prechode z Porterovho hodnotového reťazca na hodnotovú sieť.

Spolutvorba hodnoty prostredníctvom zapojenia spotrebiteľa a jej prínos pre spoločnosť

Koncept spolutvorby je zmenou vo vnímaní hodnoty pre zákazníka, so zásadným dopadom na konkurencieschopnosť podniku, ktorá umožňuje podniku disponovať určitou konkurenčnou výhodou. Z pohľadu zákazníka ide nie len o prijímanie hodnoty, ale na tvorbe hodnoty sa môže aj podieľať. Spoločnosť stojí na strane zriaďovateľa hodnoty, ktorá ponúka hodnotové propozície a spolutvorba hodnoty sa objaví v momente, keď zákazník pozve dpoločnosť do spojenej sféry. Tento článok pojednáva o koncepte hodnoty v marketingu z pohľadu tovaro-dominantnej logiky. Kombinuje zapojenie spotrebiteľa do procesu spolutvorby a paralelne opisuje význam hodnoty pre spoločnosť, ktorá už bola v odbornej literatúre mnohokrát analyzovaná z ekonomického hľadiska, no tento článok prináša pohľad prostredníctvom kvalitatívnych ukazovateľov rozdelených do troch dimenzionálnych štruktúr. Mikro-analytický prístup k vnímanej hodnote, tzv. zoom-in prístup, umožňuje posilniť myšlienku vnímanej hodnoty na trhoch B2B a B2C.

Application of a securing promissory note in judicial proceedings in the light of recent case law

AABSTRACTBSTRACT The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive view on the issue of promissory notes as a guarantee in legal relations. It is supposed to serve both the debtor in building up his defense and the creditor in the evaluation of the risks he may face during the application of his promissory note. Apart from reference books and legislation, the main source used is the analysis of the case law and its contribution to the topic. This thesis is divided into four chapters. General issues are the theme of the first chapter with the focus on the signature and necessary entries on the note. Then the core of the hedge bill is questioned, concerning especially the nature of the securing contract, which is the reason of the guarantee function of the note and consequences associated with the transfer of the note. The second chapter is focused on the bilateral rights and obligations connected with the note and its secured claim, the risk of abuse of negotiable instruments and also the admissibility of causal objections in the case of the endorsement. Following that, suggestions of the possible defense against the abuse are proposed. The third chapter is devoted to procedural issues and the specifics of the procedure in this matter. Female characters in the work of Franz Kafka

The thesis deals with female characters in selected works by Franz Kafka (1883-1924), the well known representative of the Prague German literature. These works include the short story The Metamorphosis (1915) and the posthumously published novel fragments The Man Who Disappeared (1927), The Trial (1925) and The Castle (1926). The thesis discusses how the individual female characters are portrayed in these texts, what role they play in the protagonist's life and how they influence him. At the forefront, there is an interaction between the male main characters and the female characters. The thesis proceeds mainly in a textanalytical way without making any connections between fictional women in the works of the author and real women in his life. At first, the female characters in each of the selected texts are separately analysed and then they are compared. The conclusion serves for a comparison of all female characters in these works and for a formulation of a general statement about them.
