Brownfields in the Czech Republic in connection with historical centers
Severová, Anna ; Svoboda, Lukáš (referee) ; Májek, Jan (advisor)
The topic of this Diploma Thesis is the urban design of the structure in the town Náchod in the area of the former textile factory. Several years ago the industrial area of the textile factory in Náchod was sold out. A part of this factory has been reconstructed but bigger part has been demolished. This part is currently the center of interest. The city is trying to get it completely into its property and appropriately build up the area again. The area is located north-east from the center, near the railway station. The aim of the thesis is to design a suitable urban structure. Usefully complement existing houses with new ones. Part of the design of new buildings is a solution to the traffic service, design of functional use and public space proposal. The proposal emphasizes the appropriate connection of the current city to new streets and houses. To make this new city part an integral part of the city.
Brownfields in the Czech Republic in connection with historical centers
Murárová, Lucia ; Svoboda, Lukáš (referee) ; Májek, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the Diploma thesis is an urban study in the area of the former part of Tepna in Náchod. The Tepna area is largely after demolition and is currently dilapidating. This area has the potential for development and use, located within a short walking distance from the historic city center and at the same time from the residential area in the northern part of Náchod. Above the solved area is the castle, which is a dominant and a city landmark. The aim of the proposal was to use the potential of the territory at most, but at the same time to approach the surrounding landscape sensitively and to connect the urban character of the surrounding urban structure of the city and, conversely, the existing buildings of unclosed blocks are supplemented by new development.
Renovation of the railway station in Ústí nad Orlicí
Velešíková, Karolína ; Svoboda, Lukáš (referee) ; Májek, Jan (advisor) ; Daněk, Lukáš (advisor)
The subject of the Bachelor Thesis was the reconstruction of the railway station in Ústí nad Orlicí. The content of the thesis was the Documentation for Building Permits and Documentation for Building Construction, based on the architectural study, which was created in the subject AG34-Atelier of Architectural Design in the winter semester. The building is situated on the outskirts of the town of Ústí nad Orlicí, near the village Kerhatice. Tichá Orlice flows nearby, and on the northern side of the building the terrain rises into a wooded hill. The station was built in 1874. Because of spatial reasons the building was placed between two groups of tracks. At the moment the only access to the building is by underpasses or by access roads for firemen from Nádražní street. Because of the construction of the new railway station, underpasses to platforms and their repairs, the old railway station was decommissioned, but the building was saved and declared as a cultural monument. The main idea was to design an appropriate solution for the using of the old building and preserve its original appearance from the time of construction in 1874. Restore the restaurant in a single-storey building. Create residential areas for the building manager, provide temporary accommodation for travelers, locate interesting historical information about the building and linking the building to the educational trail, possible multifunctional spaces such as workshops, offices and a small shop. Also rental spaces for hairdressers and cosmetics are also available. The assignment was also a space solution next to the object that is not being maintained. Therefore, a park layout was designed which serves passengers as a relaxation zone, for children for fun. The layout is an abstraction of the sound curve of a going train.
Detekce osob v obraze pomocí Raspberry Pi
Svoboda, Lukáš ; Appel, Martin (referee) ; Matějásko, Michal (advisor)
This thesis describes the detection of people in the image using camera devices with focus on using a Raspberry Pi minicomputer. There were created algorithms processing image data and containing algorithms, which are able to distiguish whether it is incoming or outcoming person. Another role of these softwares is to send data to the ThingSpeak platform, where charts are made from the data. The detectors of people are based on Optical flow and ACF - Aggregate Channel features methods. All software was created in the development environment MATLAB/Simulink.
Characterisation of mitochondrial proteins in Trypanosoma brucei.
SVOBODA, Lucia
In this thesis proteins Tb927.2.3030 and Tb927.11.4870 are localized by in-situ tagging, im-munofluorescence microscopy and cell fractionation. Their essentiality for growth is deter-mined by downregulation with RNA interference.
Let There Be Light? Impact of Light Pollution on the Environment
The metamorphosis of the architectural space of 20th. century elementary geometric conception of forming of modern architectural space
Svoboda, Lukáš ; Kyselka, Mojmír (referee) ; Loutocká, Vlasta (referee) ; Sedlák, Jan (referee) ; Makovský, Zdeněk (advisor)
Dissertation aims to clearly document the whole unique wide range of issues relating to the architectural space, including its historical development. Thesis should remind the fundamental questions we have to ask working with space and basic ways to access this phenomenon and to draw attention to their importance for the formulation of the overall architectural concept. The fundamental geometric concepts should be clarified on the theoretical basis, which are currently used for the expression of diverse concepts, or geometry, which are themselves fundamental concept of architectural design. They are concepts that significantly extend the range of expression of architecture.
Study of photocatalytic activity of Zn.sub.x./sub.Cd.sub.1-x./sub.S quantum dots in dependence on their composition using methylene blue
Praus, P. ; Svoboda, L. ; Hospodková, Alice ; Mamulová Kutláková, K.
ZnCdS quantum dots (QDs) with the different composition were prepared by precipitation of zinc and cadmium acetates with sodium sulphide in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) used for stabilization of their aqueous colloid dispersions. Transition energies of these quantum dots were determined from the UV-VIS spectra of QDs colloid dispersions and consequently used for calculation of the QDs sizes according to the Schrodinger equation. The ZnCdS QDs size was found to be significantly influenced by their composition: the QDs size decreased with the increasing Zn content. The photocatalytic activity of the ZnCdS QDs was studied using the methylene blue decomposition under UV irradiation. Different photocatalytic activity depending on the composition x was observed and explained. The maximal photocatalytic activity was achieved for x = 0.6 when the energy of the irradiation photons was still sufficient to generate electron-hole pairs in majority of the QDs and at the same time the photocatalytic surface area was maximal.\n
