Design of coffee maker
Stejskal, Pavel ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Zvonek, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a modern design of coffee maker, which would bring the one hand, an unusual look at the overall shape of the body. At the same time offered an improved process of preparing the coffee, which would facilitate its operation. The final option is designed to meet the requirements needed for the production and end-use in the home.
Design of Mobile X-Ray Scanner
Stejskal, Pavel ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
Master thesis deals with creating a new design of mobile x-ray machine. Three studies of design were created on the base of processed analysis, when the best one were chosen and developed as a final design. The final design takes into account all egonomics and technical requirements and creates a machine with less technical and more favorable view for patients. Simplification and better arranged the control panels bring easier service for operators.
Design of Acoustic Absorbers Using Perforated Boards
Jun, David ; Stejskal, Pavel (referee) ; Kalousek, Lubor (advisor)
Perforated boards are one of the most commonly used elements for the construction of acoustic resonators in the form of walls or ceilings. This diploma thesis focuses on some aspects of the design of these perforated resonators. The main factor considered was the shape of the holes in the plate and its influence on the measured course of the sound absorption coefficient and also on its prediction by commonly available methods. The first aspect of resonator design is to measure the sound absorption coefficient. Within the work, common measurement methods are thoroughly compared and the reverberation room method, which is further used for measuring the produced samples, is presented in more detail. For the purposes of this part, our own hardware and software solution of the measuring set is also developed. Service scripts were written in the Python programming language. The second aspect of the design treated in this work is the choice of the porous infill of the resonator based on its value of airflow resistivity. This value is determined here by the static airflow method and based on the relevant standards, our own measuring device was developed for these purposes. This device was made mainly by FDM 3D printing and was operated by scripts in Python. The third and last of the design aspects described here is the prediction of the course of the sound absorption coefficient of perforated resonators. In this part, the method of electro-acoustic analogy is presented together with the transfer matrix method as described in the literature, which is further supplemented by the introduction of an equivalent radius including the effect of hole elongation in the calculation. The results obtained by the calculation are finally compared with the measurement and the optimization of the calculation is proposed in the form of adjusting the relationship for the end correction factor and for the combination of acoustic impedances of individual layers.
Reaction synthesis of bulk intermetallic materials from kinetic spraying deposits
Stejskal, Pavel ; Roupcová, Pavla (referee) ; Jan, Vít (advisor)
This work deals with issues of preparation of intermetallics based on iron, nickel and titanium aluminides. It works with an idea of preparation of bulk material by reaction synthe-sis from kinetic spraying deposits by cold spray. Theoretical part is concerned with phases and compounds of these aluminides for structural applications, their characteristics and present fabrication. In experimental part there are studied microstructures created by annealing of deposits.
Calculation of Sum Insured for Insurance of Buildings
Stejskal, Pavel ; Šenigl, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hanák, Tomáš (advisor)
The work deals with the determination of the sum insured in the insurance of houses. For this purpose are used three methods of real estate valuation. These procedures are compared with the methods of insurers. The methods are applied in the practical part of the concrete houses and results of the methods are compared.
Metal Biocompatible Materials
Stejskal, Pavel ; Němec, Karel (referee) ; Molliková, Eva (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with metal biocompatible materials, their chemical composition, heat treatment, final mechanical properties and possibilities of application of these materials. Basic terms and separation of the biocompatible materials are explained in thesis introduction. Next there are outlined a historical side and main reasons of development of these materials.
The Family house with an establishment
Stejskal, Pavel ; Berka, Pavel (referee) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
This bachelor´s work deals with a project documentation of a family house with establishment. This house is situated in the district Pelhřimov cadastral area – Černovice. It is a two floor building. The house is divided into two parts, that an connected by the part with a flat roof. One part of the house has got a saddle roof, the other one has got a flat roof. Walls will be made from clay blocks POROTHERM. A past of the house is a garage for one car. An outdoor equipment shop is designed in the business place.
Téma rasismus a rasová tolerance ve výuce Výchovy k občanství a Základů společenských věd
STEJSKAL, Pavel
Racism and racial tolerance are one of the greatest issues of today. These issues are addressed around almost the entire globe across all age groups. In the diploma thesis, student first defines key terms such as racism, xenophobia, ethnicity, multi culturalism or prejudice, from the theoretical, especially social sciences, point of view so that it is well connected with the following, practically oriented, part, dedicated to the educational process and the issue of racism. The practical part will be of special importance, as the author proposes methods and specific teaching activities that should help students to form opinions and attitudes on the issue of racial tolerance in terms of the current curriculum for the author's chosen type of school and age. In the thesis, the author will also try to describe the relationship of children towards these issues.
Effect of cold water immersion on intermittent isometric forearm flexor contractions to failure in rock climbers
Kodejška, Jan ; Baláš, Jiří (advisor) ; Stejskal, Pavel (referee) ; Radvanský, Jiří (referee)
Title: Effect of cold water immersion on intermittent isometric forearm flexor contractions to failure in rock climbers Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of cold water immersion on intermittent isometric forearm flexor contraction to failure in rock climbers. Methods: Thirty-two climbers (15 male and 17 female) completed three intermittent trials to failure, on a climbing-specific handgrip dynamometer, on three separate visits to the laboratory. For each visit a different recovery strategy was employed: passive recovery (PAS), cold water immersion at 8 řC (CWI 8) or 15 řC (CWI 15). The force time integral (FTI - time of contraction multiplied by the force of contraction) was determined to assess intermittent performance. The tissue saturation index (TSI) and total haemoglobin (tHb) during isometric contractions from near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) were determined to assess hemodynamic changes. Differences between repeated trials and three recovery protocols, derived parameters NIRS, were assessed using repeated measures ANOVA with Bonferroni corrections. Results: There was no significant difference between conditions after trial one. In response to the PAS recovery condition there was a 10% and 22% decrease in FTI in the second and third trials, respectively. The PAS...
Inkluzivní vzdělávání a romští žáci základních škol v Českých Budějovicích
STEJSKAL, Pavel
One of the most discussed questions of contemporary Czech education system is the question of inclusion education. That is the subject of the discussion of both education system experts as well as laic public. The author of this Bachelor thesis is firstly focused on explaining changes in Czech elementary schools that point to inclusion and are mainly caused by legal and other adjustments. The author will briefly describe the default state of the Czech education system in terms of inclusion and the stance of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic on the matter in context to supporting inclusion and characterizing the various opinions of the professionals in the inclusion field of study. The aim of the original Analytical part of this thesis are elementary schools in České Budějovice and the impact of inclusion education for the Roma minority in terms of disciples of these elementary schools. Analytical part of the thesis will consist of qualitative inquiry of principals of selected elementary schools as well as other teachers of these elementary schools and other field of study professionals of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, the Faculty of Education. The inquiry will also include discussion with the Roma coordinator and other employees from the Provincial Administration.
