Methods of accident evaluation and their optimization

The thesis deals with the comparison of accident assessment methods and their optimization in the Czech Republic and other selected countries. The work is based on the methodologies of individual countries, which were examined and then compared and evaluated in terms of practical use. The gained theoretical knowledge was applied to practical examples in the form of selected section of roads and crossroads. Every area was evaluated and compared in terms of accident rate.
General Plan barrierfree routes in Strážnice

This thesis deals with elaboration general of barrier-free routes in Strážnice. The theoretical part contains more detailed informations about barrier-free elements and technical requirements of barrier-free use roads. The practical part is creation of three barrier-free which they connect important objects in Strážnice, analysis routes and important objects and repair proposal.
Comparison of usage of selected apperception techniques in children aged 6 to 7 years

The main topic of this dissertation is the usage of apperception techniques in diagnosing children aged 6 to 7 years, with an emphasis on the practice of School Psychology. The theoretical part focuses primarily on psychological diagnosis in School Psychology with the emphasis on apperception techniques, their benefits, and downfalls. The other focus is on the Thematic Apperception Test and Roberts-2, as well as selected assessment systems. The practical part is introduced by the research methodology. Both diagnostic methods were administered to 30 children aged 6 to 7 years, whose responses were assessed using standardized systems, and subsequently compared both quantitatively and qualitatively. The main finding is that the stories evoked by Roberts-2 cards exceeds the stories evoked by TAT cards in developmental quality, the latter of which the children find too overloading to produce an optimal reaction, with varied results in their adaptability. The dissertation also presents the specifics of administering these methods to children. Based on the data derived from 50 children, the Czech norms for Roberts-2 method for children aged 6 to 7 were created in their working stage, and than compared with the original American norms.
Life quality of people with attention deficit

This thesis focuses on the issue of quality of life of an individual with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), with particular attention paid to the impacts of ADHD on important areas of life that significantly affect the quality of life. In addition, the thesis also deals with values and goals and subjective perception of the above syndrome of individuals diagnosed and living with ADHD. The answers to those questions were obtained through semi-structured interviews with five selected respondents and a questionnaire survey focusing on SEIQoL method as a tool to evaluate the quality of life. The results of the research show that Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder interferes with daily functioning in life and influences the quality of life. The most important value in life was identified to be the area of interpersonal relations in the sense of mutual support and mainstay. The respondents have mentioned positive dimension of ADHD syndrome that can be considered as benefit in life. It is very important to consider each person as unique individual who should be treated with respect. Moreover, it is also important to take the symptoms of ADHD into consideration and not make light of them, as trivialization is what negatively affects human relationships, and it may even result in a distortion of one´s relationship with oneself.
Freestyle kiteboarding methodology

Title: Freestyle kiteboarding methodology Aims: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to compile а methodological approach throughout the training of kiteboarding tricks. Methods: The thesis was written on the basis of the analysis of the documents, it is а expert work. The method of content analysis was used for the data processing from the Internet and books which were used as the main sources of the information and subsequent description of individual tricks. More information were gained by the informal way - interviewing the professional riders. Social skills of convicted men

This thesis concerns a question, if social skills of convicted men are the same as social skills of men who have been never convicted. In terms of theoretical part there is an issue of prisons closely analysed including concrete problems of Czech prison system. Except overflowing, there is a problem of high recidivism and to that related imperfect postpenitenciar care, prisonization, lack of privacy and intimity of prisoners etc. Furthermore, potential impacts of imprisoning on psychical state of prisoners are analysed - prisoners are more often apathetic, they lose social contacts to people out of the prison, they also lose a possibility to decide for themselves and their lives. In theoretical part of thesis there is also Thematic Apperception Test described. It was given to two groups of research participants - a group of convicted men and a group of never convicted men. Thematic Apperception Tests were evaluated by Social Orientation Scale afterwards. Retrieved data were interpreted in exploratory part of thesis.
Using the MMPI-2 in Differential Diagnostic of Asperger's Syndrome and Schizofrenia

The main target of this study is to identify the scales in MMPI-2 which could help the differential diagnostic process between Asperger's syndrome and schizophrenia. Adult persons with Asperger's syndrome and adult persons with schizophrenia were examined. The study has a quantitative character, concretely data mining, which offers generating and verifying hypothesis. The results show that configuration of heights of specific scales can be crucial in distinguishing between Asperger's syndrome and schizophrenia. In the concrete we expect increase in 0Si, Sc1, Pa2 and OBS along with medial T-scores in Sc6, Pa1, Psyc and Biz in protocols of people with Asperger's syndrome. Influence of spirituality over death attitudes

Bc. Monika Pavelková ABSTRACT The aim of the paper is to study closely the influence of spirituality on attitude towards death among people who find themselves in a situation of proximity to death. Due to the fact that spirituality proves to be a significant factor influencing the process of accepting death, increasing attention is paid nowadays to the spiritual component of personality and to saturation of its spiritual needs. Spirituality is understood in a broader sense as relation towards sanctity of either a religious or an irreligious person. Another aspect is the means by which the person comes to terms with own spirituality, whether it is intrinsic and becomes the goal of the person's life-long endeavour, or it can be described as extrinsic because it does not permeate his or her everyday reality. Spiritual orientation of a person is projected into his or her values and goals, it determines the way towards the meaning of life, which exceeds the person proper. V. E. Frankl speaks about reaching the meaning of life through self- transcendence by way of realization of values of creation, experiences and attitudes. Personality traits of individuals addicted to psychoactive substances, alcohol and pathological gamblers

anglicky This thesis deals with one of the most important issues of our time. Trying to look for personality structure of individuals dependent on alcohol, psychoactive substances and pathological gamblers. Describes differences in personality structure between the user and the differences between men and women. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the present the accessible knowledge in the field of personality-dependent individuals. The empirical part of the work deals with a research carried out at the pavilions of addictions in a psychiatric hospital Prague Bohnice. In the empirical part of the research hypotheses and set goals that are subsequently evaluated. This thesis provides insight into the personality of addicted individuals and their own research conclusions are largely consistent with findings from the literature.
Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure of eight years old children

The thesis is focused on the use of the test Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure at eight years old children. The theoretical part contains a description of the development of cognitive functions. Further presentation of Rey-Osterrieth and Taylor Complex Figures, the possibility of administration, scoring and interpretation. A significant part presents Developmental Scoring System (DSS - ROCF). Empirical part introduces new tentative standards for children aged eight years, comparison of Rey-Osterrieth and Taylor complex figure, analysis of each phase of the test and elements, and comparison of Osterrieth's scoring system with Developmental Scoring System (DSS - ROCF). Our study revealed the following findings. Flynn effect has not been demonstrated in the Rey- Osterrieth complex figure, while the opposite trend was observed. There were found significant differences between Rey-Osterrieth and Taylor Complex Figures at eight years old children in recall trial, in copy trial can be both figures regarded as equivalent. Analysis of the various phases of the test gives guide for interpretation. A comparison of the two approaches provides an overview of the Development scoring system (DSS - ROCF).
