The use of selected elements of internet marketing in a particular specialized e-shop

This diploma thesis concerns the analyses of a particular e-shop selling specialized sports equipment. The first part of the thesis deals with a theoretical background of the internet marketing. In the next part the thesis analyses the e-shop, its competitors and compares them with each other. The main part of the thesis includes new proposals that should lead to the better and stronger position in the market and make the selling increase. In conclusion, the thesis evaluetes these propasals in terms of how it shall contribute to the increase of competitiveness of the e-shop.
Pricing Strategies on Internet with Focus on Pricebots

The thesis deals with the impact of Internet features on the behavior of both consumers and online retailers aspiring to apply eligible online pricing and business strategies. Price is considered to be one of the most significant marketing policy factors, the importance of which is in highly competitive online market environment, compared to usual brick and mortar stores, noticeably amended. Online price comparison service delivered to public by so called shopbots/pricebots forced the e-shoppers to pay more attention to their pricing policies and competitors' business conduct. Moreover, shopbots gave to consumers an easily accessible platform for gathering products, services and market offers information. The thesis is divided into five chapters offering a complex insight into the aforementioned issues. With help of both author's own empirical study and other academic papers it points out the price on Internet is variously significant for different price ranges of products. Even though Internet might seem to have the features of perfectly competitive market to some extent, the persistence of price dispersion is indisputable evidence that e-retailers are not successful due to the lowest prices but primarily due to the overall business strategy and the strength of brand perception. This fact has not been changed even after the appearance of shopbots.
The development of the commercial use of internet in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis analyses the commercial use of internet in the Czech Republic. It briefly describes the development of the internet towards the development of electronic commerce in the world and in the Czech Republic and defines the various stages of e-commerce. It refers to the various advantages and disadvantages of participation in online trading and analyses development of selected quantitative and qualitative indicators in the past approximately five years. From the consumer perspective it focuses on trends in the number of internet users, their shopping behaviour and their relationship to payments on the internet. Approaching business it examines corporate internet access, website presentation and development of e-shops in CR. The conclusion of the thesis is dedicated to the selected barriers to the further development of online business at both national and international level within the European Union.
Electronic payment systems

The goal of the thesis is to analyze chosen electronic payment systems. The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is dedicated to cover types of electronic payment system. Also is devoted to the issues of certain legal aspects that are common to all payment systems; defines the necessary concepts and business entities commonly encountered in the payment processing environment. Practical part focuses on the evaluation of usability, safety and usefulness for merchants mainly working with credit cards and particularly with alternative payment system like PayPal, iDEAL, Sofortbanking and Webmoney. Consider the advantages and disadvantages of certain payment systems. Describes the practical applicability of PCI DSS and 3-D Secure protocol.
Usage of blogs for the purpose of internet advertising

The aim of the submitted dissertation "Usage of blogs for the purpose of internet advertising" is to decribe using personal internet blogs as a means of cheap and effective advertising on the Internet. The first chapter focuses briefly on marketing, internet marketing and its division. The second chapter addresses the definition of internet advertising and description of marketing instruments, which are used on the Internet. In the third chapter, it is explained using examples how advertising on an internet blog works. The last chapter focuses on the questionaire and its results. This chapter also contains a comparsion of advertising on blogs and advertisement in magazines.
B2B trade specifics in terms of Czech Republic

This thesis is dedicated to the problematic of B2B trade in terms of Czech Republic. The main goal is to define the structure of B2B trade, its analysis and comparison of the development in Czech Republic and in the rest of the world. Single chapters of the thesis enable to analyze the topic and reach the goals set in this thesis. The first chapter introduces the historical development of ICT, information and communication systems and the implementation of them in commerce. The current chapter will also get us familiar with the basic terminology and principles of B2B. The second chapter contains the description of B2B marketplaces as the main tool of B2B commerce. Special attention is dedicated to the principles of functioning, types and models of B2B marketplaces. Important part of this chapter makes the analysis of the barriers to the development of B2B markets and to entry of new companies to B2B commerce. The last chapter with tell us about the characteristics of Czech B2B environment, its development, obstacles to the development and legislation. The same chapter will provide us with the information about the most known Czech B2B portals and will give their analysis. This chapter also contains the description of local and European B2B development programs, which support B2B commerce and competitiveness in this field. In the conclusion we will evaluate the results and will provide the final characteristics of the topic. This thesis provides us with the detailed analysis of B2B market in general and in terms of Czech Republic together with development trends and obstacles to further development.
Analysis of usage of the internet in a language agency

This bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of usage of the internet in a selected private language agency. The first part is focused on internet development and advantages and disadvantages that come with personal internet usage and internet usage by companies. There is being put an emphasis on individual categories of internet advertising and sales support that represent a part of internet communication mixture and that stand for one of many possibilities of self-presentation of language agencies. Practical part of this thesis compares a concrete language agency with other competitive agencies. The last chapter deals with analysis of individual internet tools that selected language agency actively uses. Closing part of this analysis investigates other internet suggestions that could strengthen competitiveness and familiarity of the selected language agency.
Traffic sources analysis

The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of website traffic sources. The aim of the thesis is to find out what the traffic sources are, why they are important and how the companies could benefit from them. The thesis focuses especially on classification and definition of existing traffic sources, on finding of their main use in marketing strategies and on traffic sources comparison by chosen websites of a different specialisation, where it describes which one of the available traffic sources is the most contributive to the company. According to the analysis based on data from the web analytics tool Google Analytics and comparing the cost and profit from each of the traffic source we can say that due to the web strategy the choice of the traffic source plays a big role and return on investment is by each source different.
Forex trading and comparison of selected trading platforms

This thesis deals with the Forex and trading on it. The aim of this work is to evaluate the possibility of trading primarily for retail investors, for which this financial market is becoming increasingly popular. In the first two chapters, Forex, its characteristic and information about trading are presented. In the next chapter, analysis of exchange rate development is described , both fundamental and technical. More attention is paid to technical analysis. The demonstration of application of technical analysis is presented. The last chapter deals with comparing the selected trading platforms in terms of availability, technical analysis and trading opportunities.

The nature of business is changing rapidly and nowadays there is no need to group people in one place or in an office to address the challenges associated with their work. New ICT, management and organizational practices create opportunities for people to work together regardless of geographic location. Nowadays it's essential to know and understand three phenomena of the information economy, which are called "telecommuting", "distanceworking" (or teleworking) and "virtual organization". The goal of this issue is to define these concepts, to analyze their use in the real world and evaluate what effects they bring and what are their disadvantages.
