Main goal of the diploma thesis was to create an architectural study of the Ponava Centre, Brno, Královo Pole. This compound includes the set of buildings, which together set up valuable public space filled with different functions (cultural centre, gallery, restaurant, café, music club, housing, leasable units, family centre and roofed public space). The thesis was preceded by elaboration on the urban concept which defined the problems of this compound and determined the placement of proposed objects. The area is located in city of Brno, in Královo Pole district, cadastral of Ponava local authority, between the streets Střední and Staňkova.
Working with pre-school children hospitalized with diseases

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to children with oncologic condition and possible of working with these children during hospitalization. I chose this topic after I had had personal experience with a serious illness of my son. I am looking into the matter as a parent, who zealously fought to keep the spirits of my child up in the depressive hospital environment. The practical part is divided into two explorative probes. In the first one I proceed from my own experience with the progress of my son´s disease and his hospitalization. The second part comprises suggestions of various activities for paediatric patients during hospitalization. The activities, which I describe in my thesis, could be used to promote a happier and more pleasant stay in the environment, in which the child does not feel comfortable.
Educational technology in the work of preschool children with cancer

The diploma thesis in the theoretical level gives attention to the appropriate use of information technology in educating preschool children who are educated in hospitals or kindergartens at hospitals. Furthermore, the work focuses on the health issues, the impact of the disease on the child's psyche and the effects of hospitalization and long-term stay of the child in the hospital on his current life. The theoretical part of the thesis describes various types of digital technologies that are used in the educational process for preschool children nowadays. At the end of the theoretical part there are described selected cancer illnesses of children, which are often treated in FN Motol. In the introduction to the practical part of the work, the Motol University Hospital itself is described in more detail, including basic information about its history and current functioning. The practical part of the work is based on the use of digital technologies in the education of children hospitalized in the Department of Oncology of the University Hospital in Motol where the technical means most often used in long-term hospitalized children were found out not only in education, but in relation to spending their free time in hospital. The aim of this diploma thesis "Use of computers in German classes" is to present various ways of engaging computers in teaching German. The trend towards information society has made computers an essential part of our lives. In this regard all language teachers should consider finding new and effective ways of engaging computers in their classes and exploring new areas in which computers might become helpful. Czech educational system as well as educational system of other countries is governed by specific laws. As Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (hereafter referred to as "SERR") had significant role in the proposal of the new Education Act in relation to teaching foreign languages, the first chapter addresses the description and main ideas of this framework. The real implementation of SERR into the Czech educational system is described in chapter called "Framework educational programs". The second chapter deals with a theoretical description of four skills essential for teaching foreign languages, the basis for defining possible options to use computers in German classes. Certain aspects of the development of Greek national economy and Greek regions

This diploma thesis deals with selected economic and non-economic characteristics of Greece. First, provides basic geographic and economic information on Greece and information on historical developments in the country since the Second World War. Then we look at the current economic situation of the Greece and public administration. The last part is focused on the characteristics of the Greek regions, not only through economic characters.

Diplomová práce analyzuje průběh a výsledky přeshraniční spolupráce České republiky a Polska.Vychází ze studia strategických dokumentů pro čerpání finančních prostředků ze strukturálních fondů, zejména z ERDF.V první části je uvedeno srovnání českých a polských projektů v rámci Phare CBC a Iniciativy Interreg IIIA,následně jsou zmíněny změny spojené s přeměnou Iniciativy na Cíl 3.Další kapitola je věnována analýze Euroregionu Glacensis.Poslední část uvádí příklad projektu realizovaného v podporované oblasti.
