Mapping the Possibilities of Dílny Tvořivosti Development

My bachelor's dissertation is mainly focused on mapping the possibilities of implementing activities in the field of employment support for handicapped people in the small region of Opočensko, which is situated in the Královéhradecký region. I analyze current needs of handicapped people expressed through other social and educational service providers and also the state of the local social service market. I map the state of community and strategic planning of the towns Dobruška, Nové Město nad Metují, Opočno and the Královéhradecký region. The summary of its present progress and outputs concerning mainly the state and planned development of social services is further used for more specific definition of the activity of Dílny Tvořivosti nonprofit organization branch in the small region and for framing a draft of a proposed project directly addressing the local situation. The Family Farm - like a place for community centre

The Bachelor work thesis The Family Farm - like a place for community centre (the Farm) focuses on possibilities how to establish the community centre on the farm. Because of this the thesis probe into contemporary state of social services and some farms in the district of Domažlice. Further on the thesis describes the function of the farms with Green Care services in Norway and the possibilities of transfered this kind of services into czech country with the view of local conditions; and how how will be possible to integrate the Farm into the systém of social services and community life in the village. The intended Farm is going to be establish in the village Díly (the south part of Protected lanscape area Bohemina Forest, the district of Domažlice, Pilsen region) like the non-profit organization which will draw experiences from Norwegian farms with Green Care services and the experiences form czech farmers. A methodic work which, in the first theoretic part, concerning the subject of adventure pedagogy as a means for education of young people. The aim of the theoretic part is to introduce a reader with a creation of courses whose conducting is based on pedagogy of adventure. That is why it describes the preparation of courses (needs, choice of activities, possible ways of conducting, possible hazardous factors which can influence running of course). The outcome of thesis is to apply this theoretical knowledge in practical way. To concrete it: the preparation and the execution of the two-day course in the frame of the project "The Days of Orientation". How to Establish Manage a Mobile Hospice

The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to describe the process of establishing a mobile hospice in the Czech Republic. The main focus is on essential measures that are necessary for establishing a mobile hospice from the theoretical perspective but it also includes several examples of good practice. The first part treats the concept of palliative care and related legislation. Further the thesis elaborates key steps of the establishing process of a mobile hospice regarding the management activities in practice. The conclusion deals with the management and the role of hospice as an institution where all relevant resources are efficiently integrated.

The bachelor thesis titled "The Role and methods of work as a probation officer with the juvenile offender" is composed of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is determined by the basic definitions related to youth and offenders. Further defines a person of a probation officer for children and young people, content the profession and the use of methods of social work. On the basis of qualitative research is to develop a practical part, which consists of case studies for young people who are in a difficult life situation in which they are trying to help a social worker for children and youth. This bachelor's thesis addresses requirements for social work in the Department of Material Need in the Employment Office of Kladno, Labor office Czech Republic. It describes the role of social work in providing material need allowances according to the current legislative framework for this practice. Furthermore, it describes the conditions for conducting sufficient social work in the context of a specific regional office, mainly relating to material and staffing in proportion to the volume of operations in providing tangible need benefits. The data presented open discussions about settling the claims - and harmonizing the relations - between requirements and conditions for social work in providing tangible need benefits. Foster Care in the Czech Republic and in England

The care system for vulnerable children in the Czech Republic went through significant development, which resulted in the amendment of the Social and Legal Protection of Children Act No. 359/1999 Coll. This SLP Act has brought number of changes, especially in looked after children system, where the foster care has become increasingly supported. The inspiration for this amendment was, among others, foster care system in England. This bachelor thesis describes the development of the English and Czech system of care for vulnerable children and points out the possible impacts of the amendment with the evaluation by experts. The Journey from a Self-help Group to Professional Nonprofit-making

My research work "The journey from a self-help group to professional non-profit-making" discusses the non-profit-making organization Slunečnice. First, my work concentrates on non-profit-making sector and then it describes a specific type of a non-profit-making organization which is a "parent centre". The family centre Slunečnice is one of these: it is an organization that provides comprehensive services for families. It has been providing its services for 10 years and on a very professional level. Since then, it has been aiming to meet the needs of its clients - parents and children. In this paper, I am trying to refer to the steps that led the organization to this aiming - I describe its mission, values and goals. In the description of the specific services it is evident how the organization puts its mission, goals and values into practice. The family centre Slunečnice is an organization that is constantly trying to work on itself and seize new opportunities that will be used for the benefit of all.
