Reiskup, Filip ; Valiga, Matěj (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
The aim of thesis is a design of overhead lines of transmission system under specific weather conditions in given area. Furthermore, it gives a summary about the transmission and distribution systems and describes basics of overhead lines, used conductors and pylons in Czech Republic. It also presents the issue of climate conditions having a eminent influence on overhead lines. Moreover, theoretical part of thesis contains conductor mechanics and also mentions asymmetric state of overhead lines. Practical part deals with a design of specific part of overhead lines at voltage level of 400 kV and generally evaluates area where lines would be operated. In this area the new power energy source is hypothetically planned and therefore thesis analyzes possible variants of connection this source to transmission system. For one of these variants there are the calculations of two sections of the overhead lines under different weather conditions in more detail. The results bring longitudinal profile and assembling table for each section and they demonstrate the major impact of icing on the overhead lines.

These security protocols are used for creation of private communication channells in insecured networks. Security will never be perfect, so finding of weaknesses in security protocols is always necessary and we need to improve these protocols. In this diploma thesis I have focused on looking for various verification tools on Internet. Subsequently, I have described each tool in this thesis, in way that each reader can easily find out, which tool is for him useful and which is not. I have summarized main benefits and drawbacks of each tool at the end of his description.
Analysis of parallel operation of nodal areas of 110 kV Krasikov and Neznasov transformers stations
Kostkan, Petr ; Kopička, Marek (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
Currently, the nodal areas of Neznášov substation and Krasíkov substation, which belong to ČEZd distribution network 110 kV – East, are operand as separate units. In the defined setting, each nodal area comprises of two 400/110 kV transformers. In the case of failure of the transformer T401 or T402, the criterion N-1 for twenty percent of the rated output is not met. Such problem can be solved by parallel operation of nodal areas of Neznášov substation and Krasíkov substation. The principal as well as practical aim of this thesis is to interconnect the bridge operated connection in separated areas into parallel/loop operation of nodal areas (supplied by 400/110 kV transformers). Computing software is used to calculate the steady state and short-circuit conditions in the distribution network 110 kV for separate and parallel operation of mentioned nodal areas. Power flow analysis is aimed at assessment and evaluation of voltage conditions, transformers loading (400/110 kV and 110/vn) as well as 110 kV lines loading. Obtained short-circuit indices is used to examine short-circuit, withstand capability of the 110 kV substation. Finally, benefits as well as drawbacks of the separate and parallel operation are compared and evaluated. If necessary, the technical arrangements are proposed/designed in order to allow parallel operation of nodal areas Neznášov substation and Krasíkov substation.

Stabilized operation of the 220 kV power line
Staněk, Pavel ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods of solving lines under voltage levels of very high transmission voltage and extra high voltage. The first, theoretical part of this paper analyses different methods how such lines are solved. In particular, an accurate solution is provided simulated by means of a line with evenly distributed parameters, and an approximate solution simulated by means of a line with lumped parameters. Furthermore, special cases of steady running conditions of the line are reviewed, such as no-load running, short-circuit and line operation with natural load. In conclusion of the theoretical part is given a general method of solving an extra-high-tension and extra high voltage network; also, some graphical methods of solving such networks are shown including their brief description. The second, practical part of the present paper involves application of the above mentioned methods of solution on a specific line with given parameters, solving conditions at the power line under steady running conditions and in special cases of the line operation. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the obtained results.
HV grid model in PSCAD
Tomšů, Vojtěch ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Kopička, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of computer modelling and electroenergetic calculations. The first part focuses on the description of the PSCAD program and selected competitive software. There are listed main characteristics, usage and subsequently the overall comparison of the programs with potential use in electroenergetic industry. It also lists the basics of PSCAD and description of its working environment. Another section deals with the calculation of parameters of overhead lines, transmision lines substitute with pi-section and the process of pi-section phasor diagram construction. In the next part, there is a model of HV grid in the form of pi-section. As reference values for simulation were used values from exercise of the subject Distribution of electric energy. Output values obtained from the simulation in PSCAD were used to create a phasor diagram in Matlab. The last part focuses on the issue of calculating the natural power, cascade and parallel sections sorting and a simple case of three-phase fault.

The partial model of sewage treatment plant
Novák, Petr ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). For the energetic self-sufficiency of the WWTP, it is necessary to study the operational background, equipment and their possible operational prediction for energy distribution over time and adaptation to any renewable energy (RES). It is also possible to optimize the operation to maximize the equalization of the input power. We're talking about small WWTPs up to 500 EP. Large purification blocks are also an option. The student will evaluate the current state of knowledge and try to design and possibly implement the financial savings of the given concept.
Reactive power changes at the TSO-DSO interconnection point by RES power factor regulation
Pololáník, Pavel ; Fiala, Zbyněk (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the long-term development of active, and primarily reactive energy flow at 110/22 kV distribution transformation points in the E. ON distribution network. It compares two different areas (city vs. countryside), differing in type of used distribution network and in composition of decentralized energy resources. Another point of this thesis is to describe current controlling possibilities for decentralized resources installed to the voltage level of 22 kV considering reactive power compensation. Thesis introduces proposed methods and conditions used in remote mass controlling of power factor of decentralized resources. There is mentioned an evaluation of an already performed test whose purpose was to verify possibility of influencing reactive power at the interconnection point between distribution and transmission system. The factors causing the overflow reactive power were analysed. In this thesis were analysed factors, which causing overflow reactive power from distribution to the transmission system. This analysis will be the basis for future use of mass reactive power regulation.
