Applikation of alternative means of communication in physical education for children with autistic spectrum disorder

Title of work: Application of alternative means of communication in physical education for children with autistic spectrum disorder. Aims: Monitoring of application of alternative means of communication in PE lessons for children with autistic spectrum disorder at primary schools within Kolín region. Method: Given study is descriptive and takes advantage of the qualitative research (questionnaire and structured interview). Results: The task of mapping the application of alternative means of communication within the research set has been accomplished. This work brings answers to research questions. The research showed that approximately one half of pedagogues of research set is using communication aids during PE lessons. The research proved the fact, that pictographs belong to appropriate and frequently used communication aids. Another conclusion of this research shows, that awareness of alternative means of communication isn't sufficient for some pedagogues. Title: Objectification of teaching assistant's job in the implementation process of a student with combined defect in primary school. Aim: Reflections on the practice of teaching assistant working for a student with a combined defect in the integrated primary school. Method: Case study refers to work of teaching assistant and integration of student with a combined defect in the primary school. Two inquiries have been carried out, first in student's class, which is aiming to find out how the integration of the pupil with a combined defect in the presence of an assistant teacher affects the other elementary school pupils in the daily process of teaching, and the second survey was intended for the teaching staff, aimed to integration's assess not only in individual subjects, but in integration as a complex. Results: The integrated way of learning affects most the family and its attitudes. The integration brought pupils important life experiences and taught them new life attitudes, concessions, compromises, team cooperation, but also an understanding and art of refusal. The results show that the presence of an integrated student in the class enriches and motivates some pupils and burdens and tires some others, and that some teachers fully rely on independent work of an assistant teacher. Title: Analysis of the basal stimulation concept utilisation in JIP and ARO nursing care Main Goal: The aim fo the thesis is to look closer at nurses awareness of the basal stimulation concept and to analyse its utilisation in JIP (Intensive Care Unit) and ARO (Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation) nursing care using a questionnaire survey. Method Used: In order to collect relevant data, this diploma thesis uses quantitative analysis techniques. The data was collected through a questionnaire survey.The respondents were the nurses working in the JIP and ARO departments of the Hradec Králové Teaching Hospital. The 87 completed questionnaires are divided into two groups according to the nurses' working experience in their departments. The first group includes the nurses with up to five-year working experience, the other one includes the nurses who have been working in their departments for more than six years. There were ten question items listed in the questionnaire altogether, with six closed-ended questions, two open-ended questions, one semi-open question and one polytomous question. 3 Abstract Theme of thesis: Physical education for pre-school children with autism spectrum disorder Objectives of thesis: The aimt of my thesis was to prepare a methodical guide for teachers and trainers of free time activities for pre- school children with ASD, then to identify, if the bee can contribute to improve the children self-reliance during practice of their motorical skills, if it can have a positive effect on the behaviour of children during work and whether it can help reducing problematic behaviour. Method: The main metod used in the qualitative part of my research was observation participation method, the other informal interview. The data was evaluated using simple analysis and statistical method of frequencies. Results and conclusions: The objective of my thesis is to prepare a methodical guide for teachers and trainers of free time activities dealing with pre-school children with ASD. I found outied, that participation in a bee can contribute to improve the children's self-reliance during practice of their motorical skills, it also positively affected the behaviour of children during work and it helped to reduce problematic behaviour. 3 ABSTRACT TITLE OF WORK: The individual regeneration programmes for the improvement of the clinical symptoms and dysfunctions of the locomotive system in patient with multiple sclerosis. WORK AIMS: The aim of the work is to suggest and clarify the individual regeneration programmes for the improvement of the clinical symptoms and dysfunctions of the locomotive system in patient with multiple sclerosis. This work should find out to what degree the regeneration programmes influence the improvement of the clinical symptoms and dysfunctions of the locomotive system in patient with multiple sclerosis and what the influence of the duration of these programmes is. METHOD: The method of this research was to create the individual regeneration programmes, wich included: exercises of the pivotal regions of the correct body postures, modified spinal exercises, particular individual exercises to stretch the muscles, breathing exercises, exercises of Feldenkrais method, eye exercises, the positive efect on the mind and relaxation methods. Title: Analysis of using regeneration means in the highest basketball competition of women and older juniors in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to analyse the form and frequency of doing regeneration of basketball players who are playing basketball competition of women and older juniors in the Czech Republic in the season 2009/2010. Methods: I used method of quantitative analysis in this thesis. I have acquired information from the questionnaire method. Respondents that were asked in questionnaire research were players of basketball teams - extra league older juniors and women league. These teams are playing the highest organized competition in their categories in the Czech Republic in the season 2009/2010. Questionnaire contained 14 items. Four items were closed and ten items were opened. Three of them had more possibilities of answers. Four items were related to general information such as age of respondents, gaming competition, how many minutes players played in game and how difficult was their training. Survey of self sufficiency of patients after stroke

Title: Survey of self sufficiency of patiens after stroke. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is evaluation of patiens after stroke by questionnaire reseach with using standard questionnaire. Methods: For getting information for research was used quantitative method by questionnaire research. It was used questionnaire FIM. Results: The research group was contained from 222 patients. Average age was 74,2 (SD 12,26) years and average time of hospitalization was 11,5 (SD 7,69) days. Total score of self sufficiency at admission was 63 (SD 36) points and at discharge 83 (SD 42) points. Self sufficiency was improved about 32% in total result. Paired t-test corfirmed that the total self sufficiency was improved, it means that motor and cognitive functions were better on level of statistical meaning 0,01. Zones of Optimal Functioning questionnaire (IZOF), and an intercultural validation ofthe Czech version. The IZOF model is a reputable method in the field of sport psychology. This model stresses the importance of both pleasant and unpleasant emotions on an athlete's successful and unsuccessful performance pattems. The main purpose of IZOF is to describe, predict, better understand, and explain the dynamics of the emotion- performance relationship. The Czech version of IZOF was designed in cooperation with sportmen as translators, using results from qualitative research requesting atletes to describe emotions experienced prior to and during their performance (N = 156); existing emotion and affect scales in Czech (especially POMS and CSAI-II) were also analysed.
