Design kancelářského stolu
Pospíšil, David
This diploma thesis is dealing with the issue of office and working tables. The aim of this thesis is to describe the development of working tables and office furniture in the historical and ergonomic context, describe the working environment and its impact on the human. It is also comparing options of the market and materials used in large-scale and small-scale manufacture of the tables. An integral part of this thesis is also the proposal of the office table, which takes in account all the mentioned aspects, which contains the first ideas, visualizations and a manufacture of the functional prototype 1:1.
Zero price effect: An experiment
Pospíšil, David ; Chytilová, Julie (advisor) ; Soudek, Jan (referee)
This thesis is focused on increase of demand of good that becomes free, named the zero price effect. This increase cannot be fully explained by the standard economic model. The aim of this thesis is to broaden existing literature with observation of the effect on the different groups of consumers coded as group with higher education and lower education respectively. The first chapter introduces the zero price model, which describes consumers behaviour when given the choice of a free product. Next, the decision process is described using the value function and description of possible psychological sources of the zero price effect follows. Second chapter summarizes the existing experiments on zero price effect. The last chapter describes the main experiment which took place in office canteen and in the recyclables collection point. The results do not confirm the existence of the effect in these two environments, demand drop as a reaction to price reduction was observed on the recyclables case. Due to these facts, the hypothesis about the difference in magnitudes on these two samples cannot be verified.
Mid-term planning of social services at the region level.
Pospíšil, David ; Bareš, Pavel (advisor) ; Čabanová, Bohumila (referee)
Master Thesis 2013 David Pospíšil Abstract: The subject of this master thesis is to analyze the current state of the mid- term planning of social services at regional level. This master thesis also describes the historical context of community planning, social services and their financing system. In this thesis there are applied methods as problem and objectives tree and multi-criteria evaluation of mid-term plans of social services development at the regional level, analysis and study of current legal standards related to this issue and questionnaire survey with representatives of the regions and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. This thesis deals with the mid-term planning of social services in relation to the present legal anchor in Czech legislation. Mid-term planning of social services is based on the principle of subsidiarity. The whole process should be as open to the public and especially other immediate stakeholders as to providers or users of social services. The planning process is not entirely new tool for decision-making and the development of strategies. It appears there are many activities and areas that are not well interconnected. For example, the process of financing social services, which is conducted partly at the regional and partly on the state level. Within the planning...

Title: Modules over Gorenstein rings Author: David Pospíšil Department: Department of Algebra Supervisor: Prof. RNDr. Jan Trlifaj, DSc. Supervisor's e-mail address: trlifaj@karlin.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: The dissertation collects my actual contributions to the clas- sification of (co)tilting modules and classes over Gorenstein rings. Com- pared with the original intent we get a more general result in classification of (co)tilting classes namely for general commutative noetherian rings (see the third paper in this dissertation). The dissertation consists of an introduction and three papers with coauthors. The first paper (published in Contemp. Math.) contains a classification of all (co)tilting modules and classes over 1- Gorenstein commutative rings. The second paper (published in J. Algebra) contains a classification of all tilting classes over regular rings of Krull dimen- sion 2 and also a classification of all tilting modules in the local case. Finally the third paper (preprint) contains a classification of all (co)tilting classes and also torsion pairs over general commutative noetherian rings. All these classi- fications are in terms of subsets of the spectrum of the ring and by associated prime ideals of modules. Keywords: (co)tilting module, (co)tilting class, torsion pair, Gorenstein ring, regular ring,...
Tilting Modules over Gorenstein Rings
Pospíšil, David ; Trlifaj, Jan (advisor)
Let R be a commutative 1-Gorenstein ring. Our main result characterizes all tilting and cotilting R-modules: up to equivalence: they are parametrized by subsets of the set of all prime ideals of height one. More precisely, every tilting (cotilting) R-module is equivalent to some Bass tilting (cotilting) module. This characterization was known in the particular case of Dedekind domains: Chapter 4 contains a new and simpler proof of this fact. Our main result is proved in Chapter 5, while Chapter 6 deals with the cotilting case. In Chapter 4, there is also a proof of the less well-known fact that all finitely generated tilting modules over commutative rings are projective.

The phenomenon of homosexuality in the historical context.
Pospíšil, David ; Dočkal, Jan (advisor) ; Shivairová, Olga (referee)
This thesis focuses mainly on homosexuality in the human society from the view of historical, social, cultural and clinical aspects. It is concerned with cultural and historical periods of gays and lesbians in our country. The reader should gain a complex view on this area from this thesis which is based on analysis of society attitudes together with a comparison to other modern and developed cultures. The text is divided into several sections: part one defines homosexuality as a clinical term, part two deals with changes in attitudes towards homosexuality from a historical point of view, part three gives information about civil partnership, discrimination and homoparentality. Emotional Anchoring in Experimental Asset Markets
Pospíšil, David ; Korbel, Václav (advisor) ; Gregor, Martin (referee)
Human decision making process is influenced by many external as well as internal factors. Our behaviour cannot be deemed as fully rational. This thesis investigates the effect of emotional anchoring on a propensity to enter an asset bubble. This effect was observed in an experiment ran on an online crowdsourcing platform, Amazon Mechanical Turk. The negative anchor proves to have a significant negative effect, i.e. when a subject is under the negative anchor she is more prone to enter the bubble. The positive anchor does not have any significant effect. This thesis contributes to the general knowledge by confirming that trading decisions we make are subjected to the emotions we feel prior to making the decisions. Electrical installation of surgery room
Pospíšil, David ; Rozman, Jiří (referee) ; Hrozek, Jan (advisor)
The main objective of this bachelor´s thesis is to get know about essentials of electrical installations with aim for medical applications, standards and requirements. Characterization of component’s parameters used in the course of surgery rooms realization icluded as the same as description of applied medical devices and its engineering solution. Own realisation of project comes at the end. Reader of this bachelor´s thesis will take an image about planning electrical installations, its usage in health service and will have a concept of medical parts in this branch, modern equipment, its parameters and acquirements. He will know about principles of mentioned machinery.
Improvement of heat insulation parameters of classic residential buildings and their impact on quality of inner environment
Pospíšil, David ; Šikula, Ondřej (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
Master’s Thesis deals with utilization of energy simulation software in area of classic brick buildings and measures to decrease heat consumption. Introduction deals with historic development of heat loss demands in Czech Republic and ways how to decrease heat loss through different types of building elements. Next chapter is focused on indoor microclimate and it’s affecting factors. Last but not least are mentioned environmental and financial aspects of these adjustments. Final part shows examined buildings, simulation configurations and output evaluations.
